About: Have dog sat a couple of times. I don't have a dog, but willing to have one around the house for those who need a dog sitter for a few days. My wife and I have opposite work schedule, so someone is home about 85 % of the time. Would be able to have someone take dogs for walks throughout the day, or watch them in the back yard Pets will be indoor. Have a fenced back yard when needed to go outside for bathroom needs. We don't have other pets , so your pet would not take away attention from your pet

I've had experience with dogs ranging from toy breeds to very large breeds. Having had dogs my whole life, I've cared for puppies thru seniors. I am a trained vet tech, and am comfortable taking care of dogs with a variety needs. Special diets, administration of meds, all not a problem. I don't even mind the small guys with big attitude! I have a fairly flexible work schedule, leaving me available after 3:30pm Sunday-Wednesday. Thursday-Saturday is more or less anytime of the day until about 10 pm. When it comes to caring for pets in your home, I prefer to keep to the house rules already in place. If there is a behavior we are trying to change or reinforce, I would like to be fully aware. Thus way I can continue training I your absence. Other than that, expect me to spoil your fur friend. I have multiple dogs myself, and they are a part of my day. I would treat your dogs the same way.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter during such a difficult time. While we were laying my grandmother to rest, Misty gave us peace of mind and even a reason to smile. Her communication was excellent, lots of photos and videos that really helped ease my wife’s stress. When our flight got canceled, she graciously kept our dog an extra day without hesitation, which meant so much to us. Our dog clearly had an amazing time. She fell in love with her daughter and played tons of catch. We will absolutely be using her again. Only downside? When we got home, our dog was bored 😂 which tells you everything.”

About: I have had animals of all types since I was a kid. And I have 5 years of professional pet care experience. I have worked with any and all animal types, including the largest of dogs to the smallest of insects. I have experience working with senior and infant pets. You can rest easy while away from home knowing I am CPR, first aid and vaccine certified for canines and felines! I am big on sticking with home routine, so your pet can feel just as relaxed as you! I am currently hoping to go back to full time into pet care. Currently I am looking into going back to college, but I would not start until the fall. Pets in my care can be provided with whatever they need. I have other pets in the home including a dog and cat who can be kept separate from yours if needed. I can also assist with your training plan to be sure your pet stays sharp! I love coming up with at home enrichment for my pets and will be sure to provide your pet with mental stimulation as well. My apartment has a fenced in private dog park that can be used as a yard for your pet to stretch their legs. I will be sure your dogs are always leashed when outside the house to prevents accidents or escapes. Overall my goal is to build a safe and nurturing environment for your animals to play and relax!

“Having my dog stay with Sidney was a really great experience! It was the first time I had left him with a dog sitter and I was nervous because we were coming from out of town and my dog gets anxious in new situations. She was super understanding and let him warm up to her slowly. She has a fenced-in yard and dogs, so I knew that he would get enough exercise and have plenty of time to play. She sent me pictures and updates daily to let me know how he was doing. I would definitely use her again if I ever need a sitter in Grand Forks.”
