About: We’re a husband-and-wife dynamic duo with a lifelong love for animals! Between the two of us, we’ve cared for a wide range of pets — from dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cows, rabbits, and ducks to small pets like rats and hamsters. I grew up on a ranch, where my father taught me to love and care for animals of all kinds. My husband grew up surrounded by dogs and small animals, developing his own deep bond with pets. Today, we share our home with three cats and four dogs, and we’re passionate about treating every animal we care for like a member of the family. We’re a husband-and-wife team who both work full time, but we have plenty of availability in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. We love starting and ending our days with playtime, walks, and quality care for the pets we look after. Your pets will always get lots of attention, love, and reliable care built into our daily routine. We are current with all of the safety and care procedures for cats and dogs. About: I have been caring for animals my whole life and I have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters, walking and playing with the animals. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Family friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and stay with their pets when they are away or during their busy schedules. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I love to get outside and adventure, so I can take your pup/s on local trails like Dale Balls or Atalaya. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible and fairly available schedule. Mornings and evenings are always free for me, and the optimal time for walks or adventures. Depending on the day, I can also provide afternoon care and have the flexibility to work with your pets needs. Weekends are also usually free for me and I can provide full-day care or longer outdoor adventures like hikes! I am respectful of boundaries and understand that some pets might be hesitant towards a new person and might need longer to get comfortable. Getting a clear understanding of what comforts and routine the pet has (favorite toy, sleeping spot, treat after play time, etc.) will help me maintain that routine and make sure the pet is as comfortable as they can be. I also have experience with senior dogs who prefer to stay closer to home and can be patient and attentive to their needs. I pay close attention to the behaviors of the pet and communicate with owners if there are any changes to that behavior. It's important to meet the pet once or twice before caring for them to make sure a connection has been established and that the pet is comfortable in my presence.

About: I am a devoted life-long dog-owner and dog-lover. I have grown up with dogs and couldn't imagine life without them. I am a bona fide "dog person," as any of my friends will tell you. Days with dogs include arroyo walks, neighborhood walks, trips to local parks and dog parks, hiking excursions and swims in the river and mountain creeks. We love to get up in the mountains and explore and run on all the local trails. I am happy to accommodate whatever your dog needs and likes. I love my pups and I know I will love yours too. About: Being a college student I still live at home, so pet/house sitting is a great way for me to earn money doing what I love, being around animals. Growing up in on the outskirts of Santa Fe, I spent most of my time with pets and farm animals. I have been caring for my own pet my whole life and being caring for other people's since i was 10. Classes are short and I do homework at home so I am able to provide all around care and offer frequent potty breaks. Elderly dogs have a special place in my heart after caring for a regular client whith a elderly dog on medications. Dogs, cats, snakes, you name I have probably taken care. About: What can I say, I love dogs!!! Iv'e been around dogs my whole life, beginning with my Husky that loved chaperoning me around our backyard when I was a baby. I'm very grateful to have the experience with a dog since youth! I was raised around other animals too, bunnies, mice, and hamsters. Lol but I bond especially well with dogs. I have 2 dogs of my very own that I enjoy teaching new tricks to and we all love a walk around the neighborhood or visiting a nearby dog park. “Rhiannon is my sister and provides daily care for my 1 year old Corgi/Cattle Dog mix, Cowboy. She's very in tune with his energy and personality, knowing when to get him out running and when to let him get lazy so he'll chill out. Rhiannon will enforce the rules of not letting Cowboy on the couch, no matter how much they both want to sit there together. (Even I break this rule sometimes, but I'm his mama so it's different.) They're best friends who love playing tug-o-war, fetch, and any other game they can come up with. My sister is very safety-minded and never lets Cowboy off the leash while hiking or walking in the neighborhood because as a pup, he's still testing his boundaries! That said, she loves taking Cowboy to the dog park by the Santa Fe Animal Shelter where they'll do 3-5 laps along the outer trail. Book her today for a great stay and play for your fur baby!”

About: Dogs, and all animals, have been an integral part of my life since I was born. I helped to raise 3 wonderful family dogs and one of my own - all whom sadly but lovingly are no longer with us. In MI during high school I started my dog and house sitting business all through word of mouth. That continued after college and has been something I love to do throughout the years. Since I work remotely, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, which means I can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your furry friend. I absolutely adore animals and will treat your pet like it's my own. In fact, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter in Texas and walk dogs at the Williamsburg BARC shelter. My dog Maeve and I enjoy morning and evening walks to avoid the heat of the day since she has a thick black coat. She gets fed twice a day and has snacks in between. I understand that every pet is different and will always pay attention to any specific instructions you leave.
