About: I have been around animals since the day I was born. I grew up caring for and having both dogs and cats. Since the day I could remember I have had a special connection with dogs and a passion to love and care for them. Our pets are our best friends, and they deserved to be treated as nothing less. I am 100 percent a dog person & fully understand the responsibility of caring for a pet. Prior to signing up on Rover, I have watched dogs for numerous families here in town. I have experience with puppies, old dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs with special diets. Additionally, I am very attentive to your dogs health. I know it can be stressful for a pet when their owners are away, so I make sure to pay attention to behavior, eating habits, and personality changes. I have doggie sat small dogs, medium sized dogs, and large dogs. The breeds I have experience with are pit bulls (my favorite they are SO CUTE), golden retrievers, black labs, german shepherds boxers, chihuahuas, and mixes. I do have a full time 40 hour a week career. I love my job!! During the spring / summer / fall months my schedule can be crazy. However, it is flexible. I’m able to adjust and make a walk or drop in visit work given the non-traditional hours I work each week. I’ve got my kitties in my home that I do their litter and vacuum every evening and they get fed a scoop in the morning and before bed. I have a fenced yard, although small, it works for my babies! I’ve got a senior dog who goes back and forth between my home and my parents farm and a second dog that I share with my ex partner. That dog is with me one weekend a month when he is away for work. With my senior dog I’ll just take him on short walks up my street and keep him moving. With the younger dog I’ll take him to trails or places in town where we can go on longer 2-6 mile walks! I always have a giant bowl of fresh water out both upstairs and downstairs and my dogs are allowed on beds and couches. I love snuggling with them!!!

About: I have been an independent pet sitter for 17 plus years. I have plenty of experience with cats, dogs and other small critters. I have been very passionate in my love of animals for many years and all of my pets mean the world to me. I have spent time volunteering in shelters for pet care as we as medical care and have spent time working as a vet assistant as well. While working in the vet office I learned how to medicate cats as well as how to give subcutaneous fluids. I have worked in various animal related fields for over a decade including vet offices, shelters, grooming facilities, pet stores and pet sitting. All animals are fascinating to me and I enjoy learning about the different types of care they all need. About: I have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I love to play with them, to keep active. I have experience with dog sitting for some family friends and coworkers in the past. I have experience with giving medication (oral or injection). My schedule is soon going to free up even more, however I'm fairly flexible now too. Currently I am quite flexible. I need an advanced notice for potential bookings due to my busy, ever-changing schedule. I'm looking forward to meeting some new pets. I prefer to care for pets are their own homes to keep them happy and comfortable. I have a full household as it is, with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I will be able to let them out multiple times, possibly take them for walks depending on amount of dogs and sizes, play with them and love them.

About: I owned a dog for a couple years who had a disease that required special care when eating and drinking water, he had a lot of medical needs. I became profiecent in his needs and provided great care before he passed. With that said, I have experience with taking care of dogs with special needs. I also have experience raising a puppy from very young, so I understand reactiveity in dogs and have learned different ways to calm them down or pay special attention to them during moments of high reactivity ( like during walks) I am currently work remotely from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during my day that allows me to do side quests such as rover I have a fenced in yard and 1 dog who loves playing with other dogs! so your fur baby would have a best friend to play with during the day. I can also easily crate my or your dog

“Josh was great! We needed someone to take our Rottweiler, Minnie, out in the mornings and evenings while we were traveling - just too much “dog” for my older parents to take care of. Josh was extremely caring to Minnie and made sure to send pictures & status updates after every visit. He fed her treats took her out for walks, and made sure she got some attention. It’s hard to find someone you can trust that can handle such a big dog. We were so glad that it worked out - we will book him again!”

About: I have had a dog my entire life. I have worked as a dog bather in the past for 8 plus years. I get alone with all dogs and make friends with everyone I meet. I like to get to know and meet all new dog family members. I watch family members dogs often when they go out of town. I am free everyday to take care of anyone dog that needs care and love. Right now I’m available anytime needed just not at night when I might be asleep I take my own dog for a walk everyday around the neighborhood. I bath him once a week and love playing with him and his toys outside getting all the energy out of him till he ready for a good nap

About: I've sat for many different breeds and species over the years. I grew up always having some type of animal in the home, especially dogs. I have two dogs and a cat now. I love cooking for them and knowing exactly what is going in their food. I love making home made treats for them as well. I even sew for them at times. I've made boots, coats, beds, Halloween costumes, toys, etc. Right now, my schedule is pretty flexible, which means I have lots of time to dedicate purely to furkids. I am close with a professional dog trainer and am able to ask any question, which is always a big help. My vet has great hours and very accessible as well for any questions or concerns.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs in my home. And have always had a natural draw to them. Will gladly go above and beyond to provide them all the love and care while you're gone I currently have a couple part time endeavors and am able to create my own schedule, so am open to weekends and weekdays. Very flexible. I cater to all pets needs when in your home. About: I’ve had a dogs in my life, since I was a child, and was introduced to cats as I ventured into the collegiate life. As an adult I have cared for dogs primarily, but recently had the opportunity to take care of the sweetest cats! I am fairly patient with pets and like to give them as much space as they like to try to not mess up the routines, but if they are balls of energy and cuddle bugs, I am more than happy to comply! I believe that walks and healthy roaming space is good for a dog’s, development and energy, and respecting a cat to make the first move to ensure respect and comfort to their environment. Hi! During the school year, I spend my days helping students thrive in the classroom — and now that summer’s here, I’m excited to dedicate my time to caring for your pets! I like doing research on the neighborhoods that I’m going into if it’s a new area, and like to understand what you have available, either a dog park, or a fenced backyard, to really understand how to best care for your dog. My dog is a big ball of energy so I have learned a lot of skills to be able to make sure that they stay in their assigned spaces, I do like to keep them with me on my lap as I work, or nearby letting them enjoy a nap.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Family and friends have relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages! I’m currently working part-time as a cashier. About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was 10. I now have 2 dogs and 3 cats who live in a house full of love, fun and affection. They are spoiled rotten and take up most of my bed. I am a middle school teacher looking to make some extra money for the classroom. Over summer and school breaks I have complete availability including weekends While my house is not fit for adding any more animals. I am always available to spend nights and hours in the home with fur babies, I love to cuddle with all the animals on the couch, play in the yard with them, take them on walks and help with feeding. I have three crazy cats who fight over food and have to be fed in 3 separate rooms so I am no stranger to all sorts of environments especially around food.
