“We have used Lottie twice now and feel so comfortable leaving our dog with her. She is very quick to respond, easy to communicate with and sends photos/updates while watching our dog.”

“Cassandra far exceeded our expectations! This was the first time leaving our puppy with someone so we were nervous at first, however, the second we met Cassandra we were at ease. You could tell immediately how much she loved dogs. She sent us pictures and videos throughout the stay and we could tell she loved him as if he were her own. My puppy seemed so happy and content with her. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone! She was amazing!”

“This was our first time with Karen and it was great. Easy drop off and pick up for our dog. She sent us an update ½ way through our vacation to let us know how he was doing, which was nice.”

“My pup had a great time at Mya's home! My experience was equally as good. Mya was very responsive to emails and sent me updates and pictures while we were away. She asked me lots of questions about my dog before agreeing to take her, which made me feel confident this would be a good fit. I wouldn't hesitate to leave my dog with Mya again in the future.”

“Taylor did fantastic with our 3 fur babies and they absolutely loved her! She treated and loved them like they were her own and I can’t appreciate enough for that. Gave daily updated pictures of them and kept me updated on how they were doing! Amazing response time! Will continue to rebook with her!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ruth on Rover! She was able to take our dog, Millie, on very short notice, which we really appreciated. From the moment we dropped Millie off, Ruth made us feel comfortable and confident that Millie was in great hands. Millie clearly had a great time during her stay. Ruth took excellent care of her and made sure she felt right at home. We really appreciated the photos Ruth sent while we were away—it was great to see how happy and comfortable Millie was. It looked like Millie had a blast going on walks and even getting to enjoy some car rides. We’re very grateful that Ruth was able to help us out with a last-minute booking and provide such great care. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to watch their dog, and we would gladly book with her again!”

“Our dog Luna loved staying with Flor! They kept us updated with how she was doing with fun photos and videos. They took her on walks and out to play at the dog park. Our Luna also loved their sweet dog and kitten. 😊❤️❤️”

“Kylie's an awesome dog caretaker. She kept us updated on how our Lulah has been doing. We highly recommend Kylie if anyone ever needs someone who knows about it all! Thanks again!”

“JoAnna and her whole family went out of their way to really welcome Loki into their home. A puppy learning to stay away from home for the first time and interact with new people and dogs is a big step. I really appreciate the consideration they gave Loki.”

“Nora was very accommodating with pick up and drop off times and communicated throughout our long weekend away. Trustworthy and dependable and no doubt Lilly had so much fun with the kitties 😊 would definitely use her again! Thanks Nora!”

About: I've taken care of and owned many dogs over the years. I have had pets all of my life, dogs, cats, fish, turtles, guinea pigs...you name it! Neighbors, friends and family have continuously entrusted my wife and I to care for their pets. We will board only one family’s dog(s) at a time so you can be sure they get the attention they need. Our 4 acre yard provides ample space for leashed exploring and there is abundant wildlife in the area providing new smells to investigate. Your dog will be walked a minimum of once in the morning and once at night with bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours or as needed. During the week my wife and I have the ability to work from home to provide care for your dog during the day. We do require dogs to potty trained and not have a history of aggression. They also need to be trained to not chew on non toys unless they are still puppies which we fully understand and can work with! We look forward to having an opportunity to meet you and keeping you pets well loved! No matter what our day looks like, there is always someone available to provide the attention and consistency of car for your dog(s), which is the number one priority. We also have a furnished basement that can be closed off if needed. Or a quiet capped garage and workshop room depending on the sleeping arrangements your dog is accustomed to. If you could please let me know of any special needs your dog may require or want.

“Another great vacation for this Kitty Mama where I knew my fur babies were in excellent hands! Stephanie does such a great job taking care of my two high energy kitties and sending me lots of pictures so I can stay connected while I’m out on vacation.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, my dogs are my family and I have made it my passion to care for animals. I have experience in dog grooming working as a bather for a year and animal care working as a kennel attendant for 3 years. Currently I work part time and have time to spare. I recently moved to the area and love exploring and walk my own dogs daily. I can follow a list of care instructions competently and am comfortable asking questions when I am unsure. I care for my dogs as if they are my family and would make sure your pet receives the same level of care.

About: I started pet sitting in 2007 and have pet sat consistently ever since. I have experience with lots of different types of animals and plenty of experience with kitties of all ages. I am able to give cats pills, liquid medication, injections and IV fluids.
“Samantha is AMAZING! She was so good with our high maintenance kitty and followed all of our directions. She even searched all of her hiding spots so she could check on her and send us a pic. Would recommend!!”

“Greatly appreciated the care Ashlyn provided to our sweet old cat. This was our first time using Rover and all our apprehension fell away at our first meet and greet. She gently approached our fairly shy cat and he immediately showed comfort with her. We came home to a happy pet who, because of Ashlyn, barely noticed we were gone. She is a great communicator, extremely thoughtful, and has a huge heart for animals. Our only hope is that she’s available every time we need someone to watch over our old man.”

“Rachel did a great job checking on my cats while I was away. She showed up when she said she would and my typically shy cat even came out to say hi. I'll be happy to rebook her the next time I travel.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Family and friends have relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages! I’m currently working part-time as a cashier. So I would be available most nights and Saturdays. I am always looking forwarded to hanging out with furry friends. I respect all clients homes and you won’t even tell I was there. I care for our furry friend and clean up after them and myself!

“My boyfriend and I went on vacation for a week and booked Heather to take care of our two cats. She was absolutely lovely, sent tons of pictures, communicated promptly, and was very accommodating. If you’re looking for a pet sitter, I strongly recommend booking with Heather!!”

“Jessica was amazing! She sent frequent and useful updates on my kitty while I was away, and was extremely easy to communicate with. I felt completely confident with her, and I will be using her again! Thanks again from Emma and Isaac ?”

“Amazing! Linda is everything you could ask for in a kitty sitter and more - her updates and photos gave my husband and I peace of mind while we were out of town. You can tell she really cares for animals. She was prompt to respond to any messages and did a fabulous job - would definitely recommend 😸🥰”

About: You understand that cats need patience, routine, and trust—not just food and litter—and you tailor your care to each cat’s personality, whether that means quiet companionship, playful interaction, or simply giving them space. In a calm country setting with fresh air and low stress, you provide attentive, one-on-one care, gentle observation, and consistent routines so cats feel safe, understood, and truly at home rather than “boarded.”

“Nora is great! I always know my Finley will get such good attention. He loves belly rubs and treats of carrots and she always makes sure he gets these! i want to wish her a very Merry Christmas.”

“Chris is an amazing sitter! This was my first time using Rover and he put me right at ease. He took such good care of my kitty and sent me pictures all throughout the stay. He also left my place in great condition and was very flexible with timing. I highly recommend him!”

“Mackena was awesome! She took the time to visit before our trip to meet the cats and go through their schedule and special needs. She sent daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. She was kind and understanding when our IBS cat had some accidents and even washed one of the rugs (way beyond her duties!) It was well worth the price knowing she was caring for them so well.”

About: As a proud cat parent to two spoiled felines, a curious Bengal and a chatty Oriental Shorthair, I know just how unique and particular cats can be. Whether your kitty is playful and energetic or prefers quiet companionship, I’m here to provide the personalized care they need while you’re away. From feeding and litter box maintenance to playtime, brushing, and cuddles (if they’re into that!), I’ll treat your cat like one of my own. I understand cat body language, respect their space, and know how to earn their trust, on their terms, of course!

“Tammy and her family are awesome. Our guy had a nice big fenced in yard to run around in and he had plenty of attention and playtime. Communication with her is quick and easy. She is also very good about asking for info on my dog when she needed something and giving us an update as the day went on. Definitely planning to rebook with Tammy.”

“My puppy enjoyed spending time here for doggy daycare! Taylor shared updates during the day, including pictures. ☺️ if I’m in the area again, I will definitely be scheduling with her again.”

About: Nestled in the quiet countryside, I offer loving, in-home boarding for dogs and cats in a peaceful, natural setting. With plenty of fresh air, daily walks, and attentive care, your pets are treated like family while they’re away from home. Able to care for animals at all stages in their life. I love taking long walks with canine companions! Your dogs will not be unleashed on a walk unless your specify! A client’s cat or dog fits naturally into my daily routine because their care is built around their needs, not a rigid schedule. Each day follows a calm, predictable flow—morning feedings, medications if needed, fresh air, walks or supervised outdoor time for dogs, and quiet check-ins or play for cats—mirroring what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. Throughout the day, I weave in one-on-one attention, enrichment, rest, and observation, so pets aren’t just “fit in,” but thoughtfully included in a rhythm that keeps them comfortable, engaged, and well cared for from morning to night. Tailoring your services starts with seeing each pet as an individual, not a “one-size-fits-all” guest. Begin with a detailed intake or meet-and-greet to learn the pet’s routine, personality, energy level, medical needs, fears, and preferences. From there, you can adjust care in a few key ways: • Routine-based care: Match feeding times, walk schedules, playtime, and sleep habits as closely as possible to what the pet is used to at home. • Personality-aware handling: Offer extra quiet and space for shy or senior pets, more structured play and exercise for high-energy dogs, and gentle, low-stress interactions for anxious animals. • Health-focused support: Follow specific instructions for medications, mobility limits, special diets, or senior care, and keep careful notes so nothing is missed. • Environment choices: Decide whether a pet thrives with social interaction or prefers solo time, indoor lounging, or outdoor exploration in your country setting.

I understand that little dogs can be fragile. :-) I prefer to care for your pets in your home if possible. Otherwise they must be socialized and okay with my cat. About: I own two high-energy dogs, Josie and Stella, both raised from puppies, so I know how stressful puppy-parenting can be. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals is where I developed my love for caring for them, and it’s where I learned responsibility. We often head to the farm for extra playtime and walks, so your pup will have plenty of fun, exercise, and love—no energy left behind! I’m currently in school for respiratory therapy, so I’ve cut back on my hours. I work every other weekend at a memory care/assisted living facility. I have two friendly, high-energy dogs who love to play! While we don’t have a fenced yard, we’re lucky to have country property with plenty of space to walk around the fields.

About: I’m an MFA candidate and I graduate spring of 2025. I work from home full time for a university evaluating transcripts. I love animals and I volunteer at the local humane society. Pets are akin to family/kids --- you just do it/take care of them as if they were -- which means, at times- putting their needs first I grew up in an environment where dogs/cats were given free rein of the home as if they were just another member of the family; I will respect other's desires if they chose to not have their animals on the furniture/all over the place, but I am comfortable with dogs/cats being everywhere/anywhere. I realize, that as they can be childlike -- there needs to be certain measures in place to ensure their safety, keeping things off the floor/ away from their inquisitive natures.

“Becky is awesome! She was graciously available last minute to walk my dogs and was on time, let them go at their normal pace and sent me pictures! Would highly recommend Becky to take care of your fur babies ?”

About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to watch their dog, and we would gladly book with her again!”
