About: I've been caring for animals for over 25 years, from mice and rabbits to horses and dogs of all sizes. I'm the proud owner of an Akita named Yoshi, so I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including strong breeds. Working in healthcare has taught me to be dependable, attentive, and calm under pressure. Whether your dog is here for boarding, a walk, or a drop-in visit, they'll be treated like family with plenty of love, exercise, and personalized care. I am also experienced with senior dogs and giving medication. I work from home two days a week, giving me extra time to spend with the pets in my care. I'm available on Sundays for walks and drop-in visits, and I'm home most weekends for boarding. Need an evening walk between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.? Or a one time weekday overnight between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. ? Send me a message—I may be able to fit you in even if my availability appears closed. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only care for one client's pets at a time to provide individualized attention. My friendly Akita, Yoshi, can interact with social dogs or be kept completely separate if needed. I have a spare bedroom, crates available upon request, and a calm, clean environment where your pet can feel at home. I'll also provide regular photo updates for your peace of mind.

He is so well taken care of, loves his little brother Matteo and is treated like a member of Mary's family. “This is the first time we've used Rover.com and we were naturally concerned about leaving Gracie with someone we didn't know, especially for almost two weeks. After meeting Joe and Diana, their girls and their little dog Pickles, we knew Gracie would be well cared for. And she was. While we were on vacation, we got pictures of Pickles and Gracie just chilling out. We even got a movie of them playing together. They apparently were becoming such good buddies, we began to wonder if Gracie would want to come home with us. Joe and Diana were terrific accommodating Gracie's needs. Gracie very much likes to sleep overnight in our bedroom and Joe and Diana arranged for her to do that. Except for one night when they woke to find Gracie's bed was empty. It was not a problem though. They soon found her sleeping with Pickles in the other room. Joe and Diana have the perfect house for dog sitting. They even have a cabinet that runs the length of the front picture window, so Gracie had a place to sit and watch the world outside - one of her favorite pass-times. We will definitely use Joe and Diana to dog sit Gracie in the future. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been a pet sitter for dogs and cats since I was in high school for family members and neighbors. I have a background with volunteering at local animal shelters. My schedule is flexible throughout the week which helps provide plenty of pet sitting availability. Pet care easily fits into my schedule. I typically have several week days/weekend available for pet sitting. Typically I have my schedule 4 weeks out in advance or more. I love all animals and love to show them kindness. Guest Dog Requirements: To ensure a safe, harmonious, and fun environment for everyone, I only accept guest dogs that meet the following criteria: Size: Medium, large, and giant breeds only (no small breeds, as my huskies are large and high-energy). Health: All dogs must be spayed or neutered. I am at home full time and available for consistent supervision. I also have other family members available to help entertain and provide company to the dogs on evenings and weekends. I have both a fenced in yard and several baby gates throughout the house. The gates are situated in a way that blocks immediate access to the garage and front door in the event of one of the dogs being an escape artist. I have a large crate for dogs who prefer more of a den space for breaks, however our dogs can and do sleep on various couches, chairs, and beds throughout the house. I also have dog beds and cooling mats available for rest time.

I’m a firefighter so I work a rotating schedule of 24 hour shifts. So I get a lot of days off with a lot of availability. I have no pets of my own.
