About: I've had pets all of my life. I've been around cats since I was born, had dogs since I was 9, and went to school for animal science (Cal Poly SLO) and to become a vet tech. I've had a handful of pet care jobs, mostly doggy daycare and professional pet bathing, where I worked with dogs great and small (and every size in between). I've helped take care of dogs while they were boarding at the daycare by cleaning their rooms, making sure they always had water and a cozy bed, and feeding them according to their parent's instructions (as well as play with them and take them on walks). With schooling I became skilled at administering medications, doing bandages, and I am confident with my CPR skills. I am comfortable with all breeds and most temperaments (as long as they're not people aggressive, that's fine!). Whether your senior dog needs some assistance with pottying or your puppy needs an extra run when you're at work, I'm happy to provide my services. Between the hours of 6am and 10pm I am open to stop by and check in on your pet or take them on a nice long tiring walk. While I do not sit for pets at my house I would care for clients pets like they're my own. I would follow the rules given to me down to a T, your pet will always be safe in my hands.

About: From tiny chihuahuas to great pyrenees mixes, puppies to seniors, I’ve cared for dogs across all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Some need playtime and belly rubs, others need special diets or a gentle routine. I’ve worked with both healthy dogs and those with mild medical needs, and I always adapt to meet their individual pace and comfort. My experience with pets spans years through volunteering, helping friends and family, and raising my own sweet girl Opal, who has since passed. Since then, caring for other people’s pets (and fostering a few) has become a way to keep that love present in my life. I work a regular 8–5 job, but I’m available most weekends and can often make weekday visits work with a little notice. Whether your dog needs a walk, company, or a cozy overnight sitter, I’ll show up with kindness, patience, and care. About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and always just been obsessed with my own dogs, friends and families and dogs I see out in public. I have 2 small senior pups that I adopted from a senior shelter 2 years ago, they are 11 and 12 and are my world. I've had other dogs during my childhood and teenage years, as well as cared for friends and family's dogs while they have been on vacation and out of town. I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care, walk, sit, and give your dogs a potty break. I have a lot of availability, so I'd love to care for your pup. Since one of my dogs is reactive, I only do pet sitting and visits in your home. This allows your pet to stay comfy in their own space, and I can give them all the love and attention they deserve without introducing any stress from unfamiliar dogs.

“Joseph was fantastic! He stayed with our 2 dogs for 7 nights. One of our dogs takes medication and the other needed special food preparation. He did both according to instructions. On the first night, our keyless door lock stopped working due to the rain. He remained calm and willing to do whatever was needed to regain entry to the house. He also touched base/sent photos daily to let us know the dogs were doing well. As an added bonus, he introduced our dogs to DogTV, which they love! When we got home, our dogs were surprisingly calm. I am officially retired so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family member, I also have a flexible schedule so that I can offer several Animal Care Services I have a gated front yard, fenced rear yard and a secure pool area if your dogs likes to have water fun, additional secure small Animal play Area (my Boston’s love it). The security cameras also give that little extra feeling of safety. I have crates, dog beds and private quiet rooms for the Animals to sleep or rest in if needed so your animal always feels totally at home. (because that’s the real goal!❤️).
