About: Hi, I’m Aly! My house was never empty growing up—I was raised in a home full of cats, which taught me how to respect and care for even the pickiest feline personalities. At the same time, I’ve always been the go-to dog walker for my friends and family, and I've recently taken that passion professional. Currently, I’m active on Wag!, where I’ve completed multiple successful walks and have already secured a repeat client who trusts me with their dog’s daily exercise. I’m excited to expand to Rover to offer that same high level of care to both dog and cat owners in the Tuscaloosa area! As a flexible independent worker, my schedule is my own, which means I can easily prioritize your pet’s routine! Whether it’s a mid-day check-in or a last-minute visit, I have the freedom to be there when you can’t. When I’m not hanging out with your pets, you’ll usually find me curled up with a book or learning a new skill. Since I value a calm and relaxed environment, I’m the perfect match for your pet who enjoy a peaceful presence or a quiet companion to sit with them while they nap. I focus on providing personalized care that matches your pet’s unique energy level. Whether I’m visiting for a drop-in or staying overnight, my priority is maintaining the routine that makes them feel safe and happy.

About: Since I was little, I was around animals all the time. My mom‘s cat lady gene was very strong, because I have six very special cats myself: Ruby (an orange tabby with three legs), Freya (a long-haired dilute torbie), Luna (a silly calico), Phoebe (a tortie with white socks), Callisto (a gray teddybear who came to us as a yard stray) and Poe (void cat who was born in our house). Although I do not want the commitment of adding a dog to the mix full-time, I also love taking care and playing with all puppers! I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible work times. I can schedule walks and check-ups early in the mornings and starting after 5 pm in the afternoon. I am available most weekends, both Saturday and Sunday. I will familiarize myself with your space and where your pets are allowed. It is important to me to understand if your pet will try to test limits and rules with me that might apply in your home. Both cats and dogs react differently to strangers, so it is important for me to not force them to interact if they want their space.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has always come naturally to me. Growing up, I regularly pet sat for neighbors, caring for dogs, cats, and even exotic animals, and over time I built a loyal client base in my hometown that turned pet sitting into a consistent job. I have experience with pets of all ages and sizes from training and keeping up with energetic puppies to providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs. Having had dogs my entire life, including rescues from shelters, I’m very comfortable working with a wide range of personalities and temperaments. I can also administer medications and follow specific care routines, and I always prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment so pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I also make it a point to be highly responsive, so owners can count on me to quickly answer any calls or texts and provide updates for peace of mind. Pet sitting fits seamlessly into my weekly routine, especially during the summer. As a current senior at UA, I have a very flexible schedule and am looking to pet sit full time, which allows me to be fully available for boarding, walks, and regular potty breaks throughout the day. Because I’m not tied to a strict 9–5 schedule, I can give pets consistent attention, maintain their routines, and be present for their needs at all hours. This flexibility also means I can easily accommodate specific requests from owners and ensure their pets get the time, care, and supervision they deserve. I tailor my care based on each pet’s routine and the service requested, whether in my home or a client’s home. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed, keeping to their usual feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions provided. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel secure in their familiar space. This includes feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care like administering medication or following training guidelines. I’m respectful of the home, keep everything tidy, and provide regular updates so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: What sets me different from others is the genuine connections I have with Dogs. A Dog is a man bestfriend and I love that quote. I single handedly trained all my dogs and others. Took time out to build that trust, connection, and loyalty to make sure we trust each other and be there for each other. I currently just graduated school. I went to Troy University out of high school and transferred to the University of Mississippi for my final year. Right now I have alot of free time on my hands and can work around any schedule. I care for pets the same way I care for a human. But also with the understanding the dog has to know your the “Top Dog” in a sense so it knows to respect you and not turn against you.

About: I’ve always had a love for dogs! Since I haven’t been able to get a dog of my own, I decided to start dogsitting, boarding, and walking. I will take care of your pets as if they were my own. We will go to the park, play, and take naps together. I am very patient, loving, and engaged. Your dogs will be in a safe space, and be treated just as you would treat them. I believe I am different from other sitters and walkers because I am flexible, and very understanding. Everyone has things that come up and we all want the very best for our animals. About: I have been around pets of all ages and even have 3 dogs in my family! I had a 14 year old dog who we had to syringe feed and give daily meds, so I know my fair share of senior care! I am currently a full time student in school looking to make some extra money so afternoons and evenings tend to work best between 3-9pm as well as early mornings between 6-9am! I am also missing my dogs at home so taking care of your pets would help fill the void! I have always been a huge animal lover and would love to help with your animals! I would be more than happy to take them on a walk and even sit and play with them for a few minutes to hours!

About: I have raised various amounts of breeds my dad used to be big in the coon hunting Association so we had lots of different types of hound dogs to other types of breeds of dog. I personally owned from as small as a dachshund to as big is a pitbull boxer mix. I have experience with dogs as big as Great Danes. My dog London is on a pretty tight schedule when it comes to being fed she said twice a day and his walk throughout the day regularly. During the summer my routine is pretty relaxed but during the school year we stick to a pretty strict routine. The apartment complex I live at we have multiple pet areas that are fenced in with obstacles and running water and potty areas. My apartment complex is pretty quiet as well

I have been passionate about animals since I was a child and this love for animals has grown over the years. I own 3 dog and a ferret – all are extremely well taken care of. About: I can remember every pet I’ve ever encountered. My family owns a small farm in Alabama, and I have been taking care of animals my entire life. Living in the city, I miss the animals, and I think this is a good way to help others while getting to play with and take care of your babies. <3 I’m a freelance writer and actress, so I’m home A LOT. I need a companion just as much as your pet when you’re out of town/working/cannot give the attention they require! :) There’s a courtyard here that is fenced in, but I’d prefer to walk pets over to Queens City park for a little nature. Pet babies always have water, iced when it’s hot out, and I recommend bringing their favorite toys! I like to play and snuggle, so hopefully they won’t miss you too much. Also, bring their snacks!!! I’m happy to go over tricks they’re learning as well.
