“Sure! Here’s a concise and positive review you can leave for your Rover dog sitter: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ysalys was fantastic! Super communicative throughout the entire stay—kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog was clearly well cared for and happy. I’d absolutely book again!”

“Skylar did a wonderful job taking care of our pups and our house while we were gone for almost two weeks! She came for a meet and greet a few weeks before the trip so that our dogs would recognize her. She also sent a few updates with photos while we were gone and I could tell that the dogs were super relaxed. She left our house in great shape and our dogs appear to be happy/healthy. Unfortunately we’re about to move, but if we were staying in Knoxville we would 100% hire her again.”

“Melissa was the PERFECT sitter for my baby! She was so thorough on her meet and greet that I was instantly put at ease about using rover for the first time. She sent me so many pictures and updates even though it was only one night because I told her there is no such thing as too many updates 😅 She is so quick with communication and I already have her booked for a second time for a last minute work trip! You will be so pleased if you trust Melissa with your fur babies!”

“Angela was absolutely amazing! She did such a great job caring for our three pups — you can tell she truly loves animals. She was super sweet and showed so much love and attention to each of them. “I felt at ease with Katherine looking after my pup. She was willing to take the time to understand and accommodate her quirks. She understands the nuance of dog behavior and brings lots of relevant experience. She’s communicative and very competent!”

“My Wife and I had a vacation planned and had been looking for a good house and pet sitter for the week without much luck. We're so glad we found Meredith! We can't say enough of how well our experience with her went! For our Meet & Greet, she was punctual, very professional, and our dogs immediately took a liking to her. She asked all of the right questions and took plenty of notes. While we were gone she gave us daily updates and plenty of pictures of our little ones. We could tell our Dogs and Cat were very happy! We were able to thoroughly enjoy our vacation with the piece of mind knowing our pets were in such good hands. Upon our return our home was spotless and exactly the way we left it. We will definitely be booking with her again. If we could give her 10 stars we would! Dawn and Joe”

“Angela was absolutely amazing. She exceeded our expectations. We are typically very skeptical of meeting new people on Rover. Our dog is just as picky. He took to her right away and couldn't leave her alone. She communicated with us every step of the way. She sent pictures and updated us as she came and went. She left our home in the same condition it was in when she left. We will most definitely be using her in the future! Thank you again so much Angela!”

“We have 3 senior dogs that do best staying in the environment and routine they are familiar with so an in-home sitter is a must. Jayne had stellar reviews and is also newer to Knoxville just like my husband and I. We knew instantly during the meet and greet that Jayne would be a great match for us and our pups. When our trip came closer, Jayne proactively reached out to nail down details. She sent updates when she arrived to the house as well as daily photos. We were over 2,500 miles away in Portland and were able to enjoy our trip because we knew our pups were in Jayne’s care! We look forward to using her again!”

“Leanne was the best sitter we could have asked for. Our travels plans got messed up and the pups had some medical issues pop up and she kept us so informed and the dogs taken care of. She absolutely went above and beyond for them, and made sure they got plenty of exercise as well!”

“Jasmin took such great care of our home and Millie! She gave us updates and photos throughout the trip and our home was in great shape upon our return! Millie loves playing with and going on walks with Jasmin!!”

About: I started taking care of dogs my sophomore year of college. I learned quickly that it was very important to take the best care of other peoples pets. It has taught me a lot of responsibility. I I work for an afterschool program in the area, I go to work either at 9:30 or 10:30 and get off after 6. If taking care of a pet then I make sure they are let out before I leave and also come back to the house at lunch to let them out and give treats! I make sure that dogs are loved and cared for when their owner is away. I want to make sure dog and owner trust me.

“Super pleased with how well Chelcie took care of my 14-year old dog. My dog requires different meds at different times of the day. Chelcie kept track of everything with no worries. She provided daily reports to me on how well all was going - much appreciated. Sweet. Thoughtful. And very Trustworthy. I'll be using Chelcie again for sure!”

About: I am a current veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am pursuing companion animal medicine. I have spent the past 2 years working in a vet clinic, where a majority of my experience has been working with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I am new to Rover, but I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting and taking care of others’ fur babies! I am a full time veterinary student, typically at school 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I can offer drop in visits a couple of times during weekdays, but I am available to spend more time with your pets on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to commute to take care of your pet(s) at your home. I strive to make your pet(s) feel loved and comfortable while you’re gone by playing and loving on them, taking them for walks, administering medications if needed, etc.

About: My family has fostered dogs for the past few years, and we’ve had at least one family dog since I was born. I pet sit for my neighbors and family friends often, both cats and dogs alike, and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities! On the daily I take care of my family dogs. I take them on morning walks, make sure they don’t eat each other’s food, and give them PLENTY of play time, pets, and loves! I’m also well-versed in caring for anxious dogs, as our medium-size dog is very nervous at most hours of the day. I don’t believe in using fear tactics to punish dogs, such as time-outs or spraying them with water. Instead, I promote positive behaviors by engaging with them happily and giving them treats (if permitted) when they do something they’re supposed to do! With my clients, I take pets on walks or do a scheduled play time for as long as is requested, and I make sure they’re comfortable and fed every time I visit! If overnight or all-day stay is needed for particularly clingy pets, I’m completely open to discussing hours for that, and will never leave a pet alone or push it away if it needs a person there!

About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for the past three years and have been the main caretaker for my own two dogs and cat for the past ten. I have been a veterinary clinic assistant for the past year and have also had experience with exotic animals abroad. I am pursuing a career in animal care and appreciate any opportunity to further my experience and spend time caring for your furry family! I am a full time student at UTK and participate in army ROTC, however I can be flexible and make time, especially on the weekends. I can care for pets in any situation, kenneled or not. I am very flexible and can change any care preferences to your needs and/or standards.

“Brooke saved the day by being available last minute to help us while our dog was unable to be in daycare. She communicates very well and I love how sweet she has been about our puppy! We are super happy with her help.”

Sharmaine B.
“Sharmaine has dog sat for us for almost four years. She is a wonderful caretaker for our two large dogs who are very needy. She responds to texts and calls promptly and follows directions. Jessica U.
“Jessica has looked after my cat multiple times in the last few years. She has always gone above and beyond to make sure that their needs are met and they get quality time with her. When I was away she would regularly send me videos of them playing and pictures of them cuddling on the couch. She was more than willing to accommodate her schedule as well to ensure that my cat was not left alone for extensive periods of time. I never once felt uneasy or nervous leaving because Jessica was the best pet sitter and always attentive. I cannot recommend her enough, she will always be top on my list of people to call when I am going out of town.”

Rachel T.
“We have a lot of pets - dogs, a cat, several birds, and a lot of fish - and Rachel is great with all of them. She loves animals in all forms, and they all love her right back! Rachel is responsible and eager to help, and I recommend her wholeheartedly.”

Kendra F.
“Words cannot describe how well Kendra is with animals and her passion and patience she has with them. For the past two years I’ve had her watch my dog Baki (husky-doodle and 100lbs) and when I say she goes above and beyond that doesn’t even do her justice from 5am long walks to giving him ample attention and play time. Every time I leave him with her I don’t need to worry as I know he’s safe and honestly better off with her than any boarding kennel if I’m being honest.”

Brooke W.

“Brooke saved the day by being available last minute to help us while our dog was unable to be in daycare. She communicates very well and I love how sweet she has been about our puppy! We are super happy with her help.”
