“We’re so glad we found Meredith to help us take care of our 4-month-old puppy and senior cat. They’re both a handful but Meredith is so loving and professional with them. My fur babies can’t wait to see her again!”

“Sure! Here’s a concise and positive review you can leave for your Rover dog sitter: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ysalys was fantastic! Super communicative throughout the entire stay—kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog was clearly well cared for and happy. I’d absolutely book again!”

“Angela was absolutely amazing. She exceeded our expectations. We are typically very skeptical of meeting new people on Rover. Our dog is just as picky. He took to her right away and couldn't leave her alone. She communicated with us every step of the way. She sent pictures and updated us as she came and went. She left our home in the same condition it was in when she left. We will most definitely be using her in the future! Thank you again so much Angela!”

“Taylor did an amazing job watching all our animals! I got a lot of updates and when we came back, our animals were happy and the house was immaculate! We will definitely be using him again to house sit for us!”

“Nancy made it possible for our cats to enjoy their days just like usual during our two-week trip. Thanks to her, we were able to worry less about them while we were away. We’re so grateful for her care and kindness. If we ever need someone to look after our cats again, we would definitely ask her. Thank you, Nancy!”

“Hannah did an amazing job with our girls, and the house looked great when coming home! She made the time away from them a little less stressful as we knew they were being well taken care of. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Katie was incredible!!! Bella loved hanging out with her. I would definitely call on her again if she’s available next time we have a need. I can’t say enough just how great she was and took such great care of Bella!”

About: I am a current veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am pursuing companion animal medicine. I have spent the past 2 years working in a vet clinic, where a majority of my experience has been working with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I am new to Rover, but I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting and taking care of others’ fur babies! I am a full time veterinary student, typically at school 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I can offer drop in visits a couple of times during weekdays, but I am available to spend more time with your pets on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to commute to take care of your pet(s) at your home. I strive to make your pet(s) feel loved and comfortable while you’re gone by playing and loving on them, taking them for walks, administering medications if needed, etc.

“Jasmin took such great care of our home and Millie! She gave us updates and photos throughout the trip and our home was in great shape upon our return! Millie loves playing with and going on walks with Jasmin!!”

“Megan was fantastic! She house sat for me last weekend and was friendly, took excellent care of my doggo, had great communication, and sent pictures. No issues and would definitely rebook :)”

“We have 3 senior dogs that do best staying in the environment and routine they are familiar with so an in-home sitter is a must. Jayne had stellar reviews and is also newer to Knoxville just like my husband and I. We knew instantly during the meet and greet that Jayne would be a great match for us and our pups. When our trip came closer, Jayne proactively reached out to nail down details. She sent updates when she arrived to the house as well as daily photos. We were over 2,500 miles away in Portland and were able to enjoy our trip because we knew our pups were in Jayne’s care! We look forward to using her again!”

“Lucy is so sweet, great at communication, and she was wonderful with our 7 mo old pup!”

“Super pleased with how well Chelcie took care of my 14-year old dog. My dog requires different meds at different times of the day. Chelcie kept track of everything with no worries. She provided daily reports to me on how well all was going - much appreciated. Sweet. Thoughtful. And very Trustworthy. I'll be using Chelcie again for sure!”

About: I have been around dogs since I was 11, and cats from age 25. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs. Animals have always loved me. Even the ones that don't like anyone warm up to me. Fur baby massage, no extra charge. I make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time to play, cuddle, and take care of your pet/pets. Since I don't have a pet of my own at this time, I would love to care for yours. Whatever setup you have for your pet, I will make sure to keep them as close to your routine as I can. I can drop in or stay at your house if needed.

“Kelli is wonderful! We have booked her for multiple overnight dog sitting stays with our girl Nellie. Nellie loves Kelli and we are so grateful for Kelli’s responsiveness and attention to detail. Thank you Kelli!”

About: Ever since I was born we have had a dog in the house, I have also been pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was probably 10. Moving to Knoxville for school, I had to leave both of my puppies at home and miss them so much everyday! I did a lot of pet sitting my senior year of high school and found it a good way for me to make money. I had a job at a doggy daycare in town but unfortunately my schedule this year would not allow for the time! I am an active person but definitely enjoy it a lot more with a furry friend to walk with whether that’s at the park or just in a neighborhood! I am currently a 3rd year student at UTK studying nursing, and will be here for the next few years taking classes and hopefully eventually working at UT med, I would love to help out as my schedule allows! I have a lot of knowledge about dogs since i spend a lot of time around them and just enjoy making a dogs life better! I am a student with my classes currently 1 day a week, over the summer, in the fall I will have 3 days of classes per week. If my schedule allows I would LOVE to help out! Please always reach out with any questions! I can pretty much do anything with an explanation, once I get a feel for the home and the dog it will be easier but I constantly try to love and spoil them because I know that’s the best part of their day! Wanting to be a nurse I just love to care for others which is why I enjoy taking care of dogs and just giving them the best life possible. I have a truck as well so very reliable transportation however they’re safety is my top priority and making sure they don’t feel uncomfortable especially in their own home.

About: Being a pet-sitter isn't just a way for me to make money. It's a way of life that aligns with who I am. I've always felt most at peace around animals. Growing up with pets they were more than just companions. They were part of the family. So the idea that I can combine that love for animals with something I do for work is truly fulfilling. I spent 10 beautiful, years with my partner in crime, a Great Dane named Padmé. Being a bigger dog, I feel confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Other than volunteering at the Young-Williams Animal Shelter where I've been trained in canine handling, this is my primary job. I am currently available Monday through Sunday starting as early as 6am until 8 pm. I am flexible and can work within your schedule. I provide a calm and quiet introduction to allow your pet to become acclimated to my presence. On walks, I allow pups ample time to sniff and explore their environment on the walk.

About: I love animals! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens. You name it, we probably had it! I’ve fostered a senior dog and babysat my sister’s puppy, but I’m just not ready to commit to getting a pup of my own. I’m currently studying for a professional exam for my career. I have the opportunity to go over and let your pets out at any time :) I can easily crate your pet! I’m relative strong and can move your pet around when needed although I prefer for them to move themselves of course! It’s not a problem if you have a stubborn pet though!

When I was away she would regularly send me videos of them playing and pictures of them cuddling on the couch. She was more than willing to accommodate her schedule as well to ensure that my cat was not left alone for extensive periods of time. I never once felt uneasy or nervous leaving because Jessica was the best pet sitter and always attentive. I cannot recommend her enough, she will always be top on my list of people to call when I am going out of town.”

Louella C.
“Louella has been watching my animals for over 3 years now. I have two small dogs, one cat and three chickens. She doesn't mind taking care of animals other than cats and dogs within reason. I take numerous trips a year down to Florida for the weekends and I take a week off during the summer for vacation. Weather Louella is visiting my animals a couple times a day to tend to them or actually staying at my house for the week. I know that my animals are well cared for and my house is safe and sound. One of the greatest benefits is the fact that I can go on vacation and I don't have to worry about anything on the home front. I would highly recommend her whether you needed her for a couple visits a day or to actually stay at your home.”
