About: I was considered the neighborhood dog walker and dog sitter. I absolutely love taking care of all animals big and small. I also have experience with puppies, I can guarantee that you won't find a better person to take care of your animals. I can also distribute meds and do basic first aid. I am also available to take your fur babies to the vet if needed. I'm available in the morning anytime after 5am and all through the day up until 8pm. About: I spend my free time volunteering at a local dog rescue. I am a born & raised Midwesterner who is a true "Dog Mom." I am a retired teacher who has lived in SW Florida for five years now. I have embraced the Florida lifestyle even taking my dog out in a "doggy stroller!" I have been trusted to watch and care for friends' dogs and cats for days at a time or even weeks while they've gone on vacation. I love their pets like my own. I am picky about who watches my own dog, so I would like any pet owner to know that their little furball is in good hands while they're away. I am currently available during the day and in the early evening. I am also available on weekends. I'm willing to discuss any specific time needs with pet owners as well. I am a self-described "early bird" which allows me to walk dogs when the weather is cooler. My dogs have always had full run of the house except when I'm away and then they are put into a crate (mostly for their own protection so they're not eating or chewing on items they shouldn't!) or trying to jump on or off furniture. My dogs have always been treated extremely well. When I wake up early in the morning, my dog goes out first thing, gets a treat, then gets fed breakfast. We usually do a small walk. I take into account the age and wellness of the dog. I had an elderly dog who used to walk two miles every day, but then he slowed down a lot, so I adjusted his walk distances. I also adjust to the Florida heat! No walks during the hottest hours! I like to get out early and walk. Speaking of walking or playing - my favorite motto is: A tired dog is a happy dog!

“Morgan did a wonderful job staying in our home with our 2 Bichon's for a 3 day and 3 night stay. We have a high energy (not always easy!) puppy and a much older dog who has poor eyesight and also needs to be "protected" from the puppy. It's not an easy job. Morgan was so warm, loving, positive, and on top of everything! She clearly takes her role as a professional seriously and she confidently followed all of our notes and gave our dogs lots of love and attention. She is extremely responsive to all communications and answered all questions we had, gave us updates any time, and was honest about how our dogs were doing (like when they weren't eating well she told us).
