The moment she got out of her car to greet us, he immediately took to her and that is not something he does with everyone. She provided so many updates and pictures which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. I never once had to wonder how he was doing. One of the biggest things that stood out to me was her honesty. Instead of just saying everything was perfect (which other sitters have said while I knew he wasn’t perfectly fine), she shared that Luigi definitely missed us. I appreciated that more than anything because it showed how in tune she was with him. Even better, she didn’t just leave it at that. She actively worked to engage him and get him moving which is so important for a dog’s mental well being. She took him on walks, paid close attention to his needs, and truly treated him like her own. You can tell Katie genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. Luigi and I are both so grateful to have found her!!!”

About: I have been around dogs since i was born. I had my very own family dog for 17 years. I have watched family and friends dogs in the past. I work as a housekeeper at Home 2 suites by Hilton. Since it is becoming slow season. I work 8am to 2pm, get home by 3pm. I have more than enough time to give everything your pets need to a timely manner. I also have the same days off every week, Monday and Tuesday. So anything specific, that takes time, that needs to be done, I can do on those days. I am a very clean and organized person. I will make sure everything is clean and ready for when you get back and make sure your pets get everything they need.

About: I have always had large dogs around me all my life. As soon as I turned 18 I found my first shelter dog - a Husky! I fell in love with the breed and homed and loved 5 huskies since. I watch my neighbors Australian Shepherds' and Samoyed for years when they go out of town at my home with my own dogs. My pet care experience comes with just a true love dogs and having them around all my life. I work for the school system so my hours are fair to help with your needs. I'm also available for weekends and most holidays. I will also have more time in the summer to play with your fur babies. I can accommodate much of your needs for you dog(s). Whether at my home with a large fenced in yard plus my 10 year old husky looking for playmates or in the comfort of your fur babies own home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any kind since i was around 13. I love them unconditionally, they bring happiness to everyone. I have my own dogs, bigger breeds, and occasionally dogsit for my sister when she’s out of town! this is my full time! so i have plenty of time to make it everywhere i need to be! i make this my top priority day in and day out! my dogs are free roam in the house, trained and well behaved. my cat is also free roam and is well behaved, and likes almost everyone! if your animals are crate trained, that’s fine! your house your rules! i always stick to what the owners prefer, like, etc. for their animal. i never go the route of sticking to my own rules, it’s not my animal, the owner knows best!

About: I’ve been taking care of my family and friend’s pets since I was 13 years old. I’ve trained them to sit, stay, shake, etc even when they thought the animal was untrainable. Walks, baths/brushing, and feeding have always been a must for their pets. Cuddles are always provided. I’m currently working part time with a flexible schedule so I will have plenty of time to walk, play, or hang out with your fur babies. I’m available anytime most days. With me there is no need to worry about your dog being unattended outside or not having full attention of care inside your home. While also respecting your home and wishes.

About: I spend my free time volunteering at a local dog rescue. I am a born & raised Midwesterner who is a true "Dog Mom." I am a retired teacher who has lived in SW Florida for five years now. I have embraced the Florida lifestyle even taking my dog out in a "doggy stroller!" I have been trusted to watch and care for friends' dogs and cats for days at a time or even weeks while they've gone on vacation. I love their pets like my own. I am picky about who watches my own dog, so I would like any pet owner to know that their little furball is in good hands while they're away. I am currently available during the day and in the early evening. I am also available on weekends. I'm willing to discuss any specific time needs with pet owners as well. I am a self-described "early bird" which allows me to walk dogs when the weather is cooler. My dogs have always had full run of the house except when I'm away and then they are put into a crate (mostly for their own protection so they're not eating or chewing on items they shouldn't!) or trying to jump on or off furniture. My dogs have always been treated extremely well. When I wake up early in the morning, my dog goes out first thing, gets a treat, then gets fed breakfast. We usually do a small walk. I take into account the age and wellness of the dog. I had an elderly dog who used to walk two miles every day, but then he slowed down a lot, so I adjusted his walk distances. I also adjust to the Florida heat! No walks during the hottest hours! I like to get out early and walk. Speaking of walking or playing - my favorite motto is: A tired dog is a happy dog!

I myself love animals and had my baby for 12 years before he past with lymphoma. I grew up with cats and dogs and truly enjoyed the campion of both. I am very experienced with elderly dogs and medications as my pup had arthritis and in the end making him as comfortable as we could.
