“This was my first time using Rover. Heather B. was amazing! She cared for my two cats for 7 days, 1x/day. The daily timing of visits was consistent with what was agreed upon. The photos and notes she posted were so complete and helpful that I really felt comfortable with my decision to use Rover, and especially picking Heather B. This experience has helped inspire me to travel more, knowing my kitties are in good hands!”

“Debbie is the best. I was so stressed about leaving my four baby kitties, and she eased my mind. She’s so caring and thorough and took care of them like would. Love Debbie and I would use her again.”

“This was my first Rover experience and Megan made it easy! Though we didn’t actually meet ahead of time, we chatted enough to convince me that I could go away for the weekend and not worry about a thing. I was able to enjoy myself and be present because I got Rover updates twice daily. I would recommend Megan (and Rover) to anyone and look forward to rebooking her in the future.”

“Savannah was awesome with our cat Eugene! She went above and beyond to ensure great care. I felt so confident knowing that our cat was with Savannah while we were away! “Our family felt at ease leaving town and our two cats at home, knowing Sofia would do an amazing job taking care of our boys. She did wonderfully communicating her visits, playing with them, cleaning their litter, and restocking food and water- always had fresh water and love! We can’t thank her enough for taking such good care of our cats while we were away. We would recommend Sofia to anyone looking for pet care in the future. She also is super friendly and was a pleasure to meet. Thanks, Sofia, for everything!!”

“Lindsay is the absolute best! She has done drop in visits everyday for weeks to give medication to my cat Nicki. She comes everyday, on time, always with a smile. She’s so sweet and kind and Nicki absolutely loves her! Nicki is doing well because of Lindsay’s great care. She has become a friend and an important part of our family. You won’t find anyone better to care for your pet!”

“Pamela is punctual and conscientious. She took care of three of our pets (our dog traveled with us this time). One of the kitties needs medication two times per day and I could have set my watch to Pamela’s arrival to do that for us. We appreciated her taking that weight off our minds. Highly recommended!”

“My two cats were very calm when I came home after Brad and Mery had been taking care of them. That told me they’d gotten reliable, unobtrusive care that let the cats go on with their normal lives even when I was away. I appreciated the daily messages as I tend to worry. Brad and Mery’s dependable, kind and no-fuss care was exactly what my two needed. Highly recommend.”

About: I don’t have specific set of skills other than the fact that I am a dog mom. My dogs are my world and my main priority. I have a lot of love to give and I think animals deserve it the most. I’m currently unemployed as I recently left my job as it just wasn’t the right fit any longer. I will make myself available to be with your pet as much as needed and wanted by the client. I’m 44 years old with an older son who is 28. So for people my age who normally have small children I have my 2 dogs and my 2 cats. They are my children My animals are always considered in any and all plans that I may have. They are my top priority and your animal would be no different. I am a nurturer by nature. When I was in need of dog sitter Rover provided me with someone who took care of and loved my dogs just as much as I did. It motivated me to want to be that person for other people. I will love and spoil your animal as if they were my own. Allowing you to leave them knowing they are being well taken care of. I have a fully fenced in yard and I would make any special arrangements as far as feeding, crating etc that would be needed for your animal.

About: I have watched 2 dogs for a family on Rover, but that is the only professional experience i have. I used to walk my neighbors dog & I dog sit for my family all the time. I've watched them overnight and during the day. Also I've had different kinds of animals throughout my life that I've had to take care of, including dogs. My sisters have smaller dogs, but a lot of my family friends have bigger dogs like pitbulls. I personally love animals a lot, especially dogs. I work very well with them because of that. I have plenty of time during the day to spend time with your animals! I don’t work until 4 Saturday-Tuesday. I have open availability Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. I have 2 cats and a bearded dragon that I love very much. I am currently not taking overnight stays because of it. My cats get stressed out and high anxiety with too much going on. My cats were only 2/3 weeks old when I rescued them, so they have some lingering issues from being separated from Mom too soon.

About: In my life, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, and even ducks! I love all kinds of animals. If you’re anything like me, your pets are family, and they deserve to be treated that way! I have a pretty open and flexible schedule, so caring for your pet or pets should be pretty easy for me to fit into my day. I know how important it is to allow your pet time to have some exercise and fun. I will definitely spend some time with your “kids,” because I love being with them.

About: I have 2 very happy and healthy dogs in my life. They are also all extremely well behaved. I walk the dogs quite daily, and sometimes twice or on a longer, special nature area hike. I am able to care for dogs of all ages, any size. I have loved dogs for my whole life and see dog-walking/sitting as the best possible side gig. I like to run with dogs if they are up for it. If a dog has a special need, medication or requirement I can be of help. I do work typical office hours but am off Friday - Sundays and could certainly help during mornings or evenings during the week. Feel free to reach out to me! Pet care has been a part of my normal routine for many years. I wake up and take my girls out for a potty break and feed them breakfast before starting anything else. They are the last part of the day, too, for the final potty break. I am really good with dogs and am happy to accommodate whatever your typical setup is for your dog(s), whether it is crating, leaving them full range of the house or setting up a baby gate.

About: I have 15+ years of experience with dogs, cats, rodents & some reptiles and few years professionally as I worked in a shelter, administering medications if needed, feeding animals, cleaning cages and cat boxes, light housekeeping and laundry & keeping animals company. I’m working part time and my shifts vary, I can make accommodations outside of my schedule. I’m available mornings and early afternoon during the week and in the afternoon evenings on the weekend. I work Wednesday-Friday nights. I can watch your pupper or kitty outside those hours. I prefer to take care of the clients precious fur baby in the owners home. I offer dog walking, drop in visits in the clients home if they are at work or out of town.

“We are so grateful for the amazing care Sarah gave to our two cats while we were away. She went above and beyond—leaving detailed notes after every visit, sending us tons of great pictures, and spending time playing and cuddling with them so we knew they were happy and comfortable. She also made sure our cat who needed daily medicine got it without any issue, which gave us such peace of mind. Both of our cats clearly loved having her around, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: I own a cleaning service which has introduced me to many pets over the years. I have taken care of a variety of animals. I am reliable, trustworthy, communicative and compassionate. Located in the Guilderland area and serving the surrounding towns in Rotterdam, Schenectady, Albany, and Niskayuna I am self-employed and work Monday through Friday depending on my schedule. Usually home by 2:30-3 most days. I can work as early as 6 am and as late as 10 pm. Weekends I’m available as needed. Pet sitting care can be accommodated and adjusted around my flexible schedule (especially with advanced notice) For cats, I do daily drop ins, usually twice a day, feedings, changing of litter box, giving medicine (if needed), and entertainment such as rubbing, playing, throwing them their toys etc. depending on the cat). For dogs I do the same, including walking and spending time with. I know dogs can require more care than cats who are slightly more independent.
