About: I have a husky who is my child. I love to play with him in the yard and take him to the dog park. I have always gotten along great with animals. They have always been first in my life because they put such a big smile on my face. I have always enjoyed pet sitting because I know how much they miss their owners. I think pet-sitting is such a wonderful idea for them to have. I am currently not working have a lot of free time on my plate so I am very flexible with scheduling. I will work with what’s best for the client. I also have no problem getting on and off Joint Base MBL if you need me to pet sit there. I do have a husky who is very friendly but I would prefer to do drop by visits . I am very flexible to the situation.

Through my coursework, I have gained insights into various aspects of veterinary medicine, nutrition, and training techniques. In addition to my studies, I actively engage in clinical hours at a local veterinary clinic under the guidance of a certified veterinarian and vet tech. This hands on experience is invaluable. From administering medications to understanding common health issues, this practical exposure enhances my ability to recognize signs of distress or illness in dogs while I am sitting or walking them. I’m currently doing clinical hours voluntarily and not a set schedule so I’m available currently Monday-Friday anytime and will update my hours if need be due to obtaining a set schedule for clinical hours. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.
