About: Hi fellow pet owners! I have 2 little devils of my own who love other puppies and play time! Pups and cats are super fun and they deserve quality time with their sitter. I have an entire room dedicated for visiting cats so they have room to play and stretch. I have tons of toys for dogs AND cats and can't wait to take care of your little ones! I had pets since I was a little kiddo and love them all. If you need them to exercise, this is your place! I work full time M-F and I am able to come home every 2 to 4hrs to give potty breaks and play time to dogs and cats alike I have a backyard for pups to run and a quiet, safe neighborhood and trails to walk them around. Play time is very important in any pets live and I'm happy to provide that for them.

However, my evenings will be completely open and dedicated to after-work walks, dinner routines, and evening companionship! Clinic work is why medically complex and senior pets are a fit, not a stretch: oral meds, insulin and other injections, watching appetite / mobility / bathroom changes, and knowing when to text you versus when to call the vet. I am especially strong with: • Diabetic dogs, including twice-daily insulin • Anxious or slow-to-warm dogs — space first, trust second • Senior dogs and special-needs dogs • Multi-dog and dog + cat households • Reptiles and other “please don’t forget the heat lamp” pets I take a limited number of clients so I can actually keep your pet’s routine — same walk times, same feeding windows, same bedtime rituals. I’m studying occupational therapy. Class and clinic are on my calendar in advance, so when I accept a sit I am actually in your home or at your door, not squeezing you between a full boarder’s list. House sits: I stay overnight in your home. Drop-ins and walks: I book around real med and meal times, not whenever it’s convenient for me. Weekends and holiday windows are when I’m most open. I’m based in Medford. Walks and drop-ins stay inside about 15 miles so I can be on time. If you’re not sure I cover you, send the request anyway — I’ll be honest about drive time. I sit in your home. I do not board other animals at mine. I have two senior dogs and two reptiles, and your pets stay in their own territory — that’s safer for my seniors and calmer for yours. Clinic work is why medically complex pets are a fit, not a stretch: oral meds, insulin and other injections, First Aid/CPR. Pills, post-op care, and “is this an emergency or a weird quirk” are normal for me. If your dog needs two shots a day, I set alarms. If something looks off, you hear from me immediately. I follow your rules in your house — crate, gates, furniture, thermostat, alarm, trash, mail. I don’t treat your home like a hotel and your pet like a side task. Meet & greets are required for first-time overnights so your pet can interview me before you leave.

I’m Alexandra, a lifelong animal lover and sitter of dogs🐾 I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your pets, so I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, attention, and love I would want someone to give my own. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines—from playful puppies who need lots of attention and potty breaks to adult dogs who are happiest going for a walk and curling up on the couch afterward. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow your normal feeding schedule, walking routine, training cues, crate routine, medication instructions, or any other preferences that help your pet feel comfortable and secure. I work remotely, so your dog will always have a companion home with them to make sure they are getting all the love and attention they need. I’ve always been the go-to person for my family and friends when they need someone they trust to care for their pets, but my experience goes beyond pet sitting. When I lived in Austin, Texas, I spent about a year fostering dogs and puppies, which gave me hands-on experience caring for animals with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. That’s actually how I ended up with my dog Cosmo—I was a proud “foster fail” and couldn’t bring myself to let him go! If I had the space, I probably would have adopted every foster dog and cat that came through my home. I’m very communicative and will happily send plenty of photos, videos, and updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. 📸💕 Outside of pet sitting, I work professionally as a program and events coordinator, so being organized, dependable, communicative, and attentive to details is a huge part of my everyday life. In my free time, I love spending time with my dogs, baking, doing crafts and nails, traveling, building LEGO sets, and relaxing at home. I’m used to planning my day around feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, training, and plenty of attention and cuddles. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, crate routines, playtime, and any other special needs or preferences. I know every pet has their own personality, so I adjust my care depending on whether they love constant attention and cuddles or prefer a little more space and independence. When pets stay in my home, safety is my biggest priority. I have dogs of my own, but I always keep my pets separated from my guests’ pets rather than assuming unfamiliar animals will get along. This allows every pet to have their own comfortable, safe space and gives owners peace of mind. My apartment complex also has a dog park, so if you are comfortable with your dog using it, I’m happy to take them there for some extra exercise and playtime. If dog parks aren’t your preference, that’s completely fine too! I’m more than happy to take them on long walks and strolls around my complex or visit nearby parks instead. I’ll always follow whatever you feel is safest and most appropriate for your dog. I’m very attentive and spend plenty of time checking in, playing, walking, cuddling, and making sure pets are comfortable throughout their stay. I also send regular photos and updates because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy and doing well while you’re away. 🐾💕
