About: Hi, my name is James and I am an active and energetic animal lover that has had dogs and cats my entire life. In addition to my own pets, my wife and I have fostered with local dog and cat rescues for the past 10 years. My love for animals doesn't stop there, I have worked in the zoological industry for the past 20 years. My first 15 years as a zookeeper and the last 5 as a zoo curator. If you have domestic farm animals or exotics of any kind, I am very comfortable caring for them. I have experience administering medications and specialized diets, as well as, giving injections as needed. If you are looking for someone with a wealth of experience in caring for animals, please reach out. I am working full time, but am still able to overnight, if needed. Otherwise, I am available for any morning and evening care that is wanted. I'd prefer not to take care of any pets in my home for the time being due to the fact that we have several fosters, as well as our own pets.

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life so I can take care of puppies to elderly dogs. Most dogs love me and want to come play and pet. I also have a 2.5yr old son who absolutely LOVES dogs. We are happy to take care of dogs with special needs or is on mediations. We had a cat that just recently passed away and she would have been 19yrs old this year. She had asthma and we had to give her an inhaler 2x a day for 10 years. Happy to help your family with any special needs. We will love them like our own while you are away. I currently run my own business and work from home. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fairly easily adopt to your needs and help out wherever I can. I have a nice size home so your dog will have lots of free range all over the house. I live in a very pet friendly community so there are a ton of dogs around and a nice place to go walking the dog.

About: We are the epitome of an animal family and have had dogs and cats our whole lives! In addition to having our own fur baby's, we volunteer with a rescue at their events and foster and train puppies 1 week a month. Our children even want to be vets and have taken kids vet classes. The adults in the house work from home and provide plenty of walks and love all throughout the day. Our fur guests are always treated like family when they are here. Both adults in the house work from home and provide walks and outside play time at least every 2 hours (more if we have a puppy). We love to take our pups on daily walks throughout the whole development in additional to backyard play time. We have a very pet friendly development and will take your pups on walks and playtime in the backyard. We offer mimicking your home care so if you crate train, we will crate train. If your fur baby sleeps in your bed, your fur baby can sleep in our bed. We have dog beds and toys throughout the house and our own dogs for your pup to play with throughout the day. Your dogs will always be treated like our own while they are here and get plenty of love and attention.

When pets stay in my home, safety is my biggest priority. I have dogs of my own, but I always keep my pets separated from my guests’ pets rather than assuming unfamiliar animals will get along. This allows every pet to have their own comfortable, safe space and gives owners peace of mind. My apartment complex also has a dog park, so if you are comfortable with your dog using it, I’m happy to take them there for some extra exercise and playtime. If dog parks aren’t your preference, that’s completely fine too! I’m more than happy to take them on long walks and strolls around my complex or visit nearby parks instead. I’ll always follow whatever you feel is safest and most appropriate for your dog. I’m very attentive and spend plenty of time checking in, playing, walking, cuddling, and making sure pets are comfortable throughout their stay. I also send regular photos and updates because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy and doing well while you’re away. 🐾💕

Your pet will have all the attention and care they need during their time with me or in my home. I work Monday to Friday with weekends off. I am able to care for them before and right after work, with family home during the day as well. I care for pets by feeding them their proper diet, playing with them/making them feel welcome, making sure their bathroom needs are met, and updating the owners.

About: I’m on Rover to help you out with any / all your pets needs while you’re away! I work full time as a behaviorist in a public school. I don’t dog train, but I am familiar with any techniques that you may need for your pup! I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own. I have experience with all breeds! All mutts and senior pups are welcome. I also have experience administering medication to dogs. All dogs of breeds and age deserve attention and love. I’d love it if you let me love your pets as if they are my own too! Thank you for reading this. I am able to work with the families in terms of what they need. My calendar may not always reflect accurately as my times with my full-time job (human) clients do fluctuate. If it is blocked off it means I am 100% unavailable. I don’t recommend myself in terms of full-on puppy training and 24/7 puppy care due to my schedule but I am versed in the training techniques due to my career. I am available weekends for extra care and staying in your home full time. My pets are well loved and taken care of while I care for others. I will never be able to host in my home, so please consider this! I offer in home care, overnight, daily walks, and check ins. Animals will not be hosted in my home due to a senior dog I have who is on medication. For those reasons, home sitting is only available in terms of long care. I have done walks, trips to stores, parks, yard play, and car trips with fur babies for daily drop ins, walks, or overnight stays!

About: I have taken care of my relative's pets since about 13 years old. I have experience with not only dogs and cats, but exotic animals too (birds, rodents, and reptiles). I also work as a Veterinary Assistant at an emergency vet hospital. I aspire to become a licensed technician one day, and maybe even a veterinarian in the future. Animals are my passion, not only because of my adoration for them, but mainly because of my love for animal care and rehabilitation. I have three pets of my own: Luna (6 year old cat), Rubio (6 month old kitten), and Bruno (2 year old dog). So it's safe to say I have good experience with at home pet care. Working in a veterinary ER has definitely helped me gain practical skills like emergency preparedness and building client communication/relationship skills. I believe I can strengthen my animal handling and animal body language skills, as well as learn more about pet health and safety. I currently work Wednesday’s to Saturday’s at an emergency vet hospital as an assistant. I’ve been working as an assistant for one year and a half and I aspire to become a technician. Because I work in such a busy environment daily, pet-sitting is such a lovely change. With pet-sitting, I believe I can strengthen my animal handling and animal body language skills, as well as learn more about pet health and safety. I have two cats and a dog at home so I definitely have experience with at-home pet care/rehabilitation. My pets eat twice a day (I feed them ingredient safe wet/dry food with added supplements/vitamins). My favorite thing to do is walk my dog and nap with my cats. Grooming is something I also do at home for them (baths, subtle hair trims, brushing hair/teeth, and nail cutting. I would make sure to keep my client’s home in prim condition and I live by the phrase, “Leave things better than how you found it.”
