About: Raised on a farm and a dog mom for 17 years, I’ve had animals at the center of my life since childhood. Caring for animals of all kinds is truly in my roots. I spent 13 years as a devoted dog mom to my late dachshund, Boston, and I now have a big, friendly rescue who has been by my side for 4 years. She’s a beautiful mix of Blue Tick Coonhound, American Foxhound, Lab, Bully, German Shepherd, and who knows what else, or as I like to call her, my Supermutt 🩷 Over the years, I’ve rescued dogs, cats, and other animals off the streets, and I’m constantly learning about animal health, behavior, and care so I’m prepared for any pet friend who comes into my home. Special skills: •Senior care: I’ve cared for two dogs into their senior years: my dachshund, Boston, and our family’s extra-large bully breed. I’m comfortable with older dogs, including slower walks, extra comfort, and medication schedules. I’m also comfortable administering injections if needed. •Anxious dogs and puppies: Boston was a very anxious pup, so I know how to help nervous dogs feel safe. I also have experience with puppies. •Training: I taught both of my dogs their basic commands, I’m currently taking a dog training course, and I plan to complete a pet CPR certification. •Dog-friendly home: My own dog is playful, loves to chill, and happily goes along with whatever her fur friends want. Availability: I’m available for drop-ins and walks in the evenings, and I can board low-maintenance dogs during the week since I work full time in an office Monday through Friday but I do take my own dog out in the mornings and again midday. My calendar on Rover will show is open Friday through Sunday and on holidays, but if you’re interested in weekday boarding, I’m happy to discuss it further. Friends, family, and neighbors have always turned to me when they need someone they can truly trust with their pets. I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and genuine love. I’m present and engaged during my time at home, so your pet won’t just be waiting around they’ll be played with, walked, and genuinely cared for. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I have a partially fenced yard and a secure ground-anchored long lead for supervised outdoor time, so dogs can enjoy fresh air safely. I also live right next to a large park with trails, making it easy to get in enriching walks and outdoor adventures. My own dog Khaleesi is friendly and social with other dogs, so boarded pets will have a welcoming companion. I treat every animal in my care with the same love and attention I give my own, your pet will feel right at home.

About: I’m such a animal lover as I have animals myself! I enjoy spending time with my dog outside on walks and hikes and bringing her out to run around the yard! Most of my time spent is caring for animals as I help others out with their pets as well! I’m currently in school but I have a very open schedule! On weekends I’m available all day, and throughout the week I’m available early morning and late afternoon. I love spending time with my dog as well as meeting other animals and spending time with them as well. I will bring the animals on walks or even just to play around in the yard if asked for! I usually like to follow with what the owner asks of me for their animals walk.
