âRachel is amazing! She is always on time, is reliable and goes the extra mile with our pup. Our dog is always happy and tired out after her walks with Rachel! Highly recommendâ

About: Iâm a dogs best friend, I like walking and being outside as much as they do! I grew up in a dog household and then began caring for dogs in clients homes for over 15 years now. Iâve taken care of 5 dogs, 5 cats and 15 rabbits at one time in one household before! Iâve never trained my own pets but Iâve assisted with training by enforcing the clients training commands and wishes. Im in good shape and can hike or go for extra long walks if you have an active animal. Iâll love and treat your dog as if it were my own. I think dogs are the best listeners and I love to mirror their unconditional love. I have several references to put you in contact with per request. I have a flexible schedule right now and would love to fill my open hours with pet visits and dog walking. Iâm often available for last minute bookings. I have a fully fenced in backyard available for your dog to run. I do not have my own crates so a crate would need to be provided if necessary.
âWe have loved working with Jordan! She really goes the extra mile when taking care of my pup. He is typically timid with new walkers but she knows exactly how to make him comfortable. They even play a hide and seek game with treats that he loves! It really puts my mind at ease while working knowing that sheâs going to be caring for him. Also wonderful communicating when she will be getting there and all details of the visit.â

No matter if your pet needs feeding, walking, playtime, or just company, I am patient, communicative, and calm. I know how much we miss our pets when we're away, so you can expect immediate responses, frequent photos, videos and updates during my visit. âMy Beagle loves Troy - she walks off with him without a backward glance. She can be skittish, but he is kind and gentle with her, and itâs clear that he enjoys being around her.â

âGenevie approached her work professionally and politely with me and was kind and gentle with my dog, Beau. She provided me a thorough and enthusiastic report following each walking session. Beau was well cared for and definitely loved! I highly recommend this sweet, capable young woman.â
About: Hey everyone! I have always loved animals of all varieties since a very little girl. I've had a lifetime of experience around animals & pride myself of giving them as much love & care as I can. I grew up in the UK where my dad owned a farm... I would spend my days taking care of our pets, farming duties etc. I have experience from cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, horses, bunnies, rats and everything in between... they were our family, not food! I even studied animal care for a while & got to work with many exotic animals, caring for Tigers, Cheetahs & other big cats, reptiles, amphibians, snakes and more. I have 3 cute kitties with my husband here in Tampa (A tuxedo "Pudge", Orange Tabby "Louie" & Grey Tabby called "Rex/Noodle". But I adore all animals & pets with all of my heart! I have some certificates in Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, Pet Nutrition, Pet Psychology, as taking care of pets & wildlife has always been a passion of mine. All pets deserve the very best! I would absolutely love to be considered & help you in your daily life to care for your precious babies! đđž I am very flexible, available 7 days a week & would love to help care for your babies no matter their needs. Always available to discuss any schedule needs you may have! :) I always strive to provide the very best care possible for all pets and wildlife under my care & responsibility. I will always go above and beyond to make sure they are happy, loved & their everyday needs are met.
About: I've worked with animals my entire life, from my own personal pets to working in pet boarding facilities, grooming salons, pet stores, vets office & volunteering with rescue groups. I even ran my own pet sitting business for 5 years, which became highly demanding. Thanks to Rover, I'm looking forward to getting back into pet sitting part time as I love caring for all types of animals. I have experience with everything from dogs and cats to exotic animals and even farm animals. I have more than enough experience to care for your pets and home while you're away. Iâm self-employed and structure my schedule around providing consistent, dependable pet care. Because I manage my own time, Iâm able to prioritize visits, maintain routines, and be flexible when pets need extra attention. Pet care is a core part of my weekly routine, not something I squeeze in. I focus on reliability, clear communication, and making sure pets experience as little disruption as possible while their owners are away. My background in client-facing, responsibility-driven work strongly shapes how I approach pet care. I believe pets are most comfortable when they can stay in their own environment and follow their usual routine. My goal during drop-in visits is to mirror what theyâre used to as closely as possible to reduce stress and anxiety. I take trust seriously when working inside clientsâ homes. In addition to pet care, Iâm happy to bring in mail or packages and tend to small household needs like watering plants if requested. I approach every visit with respect for both the pet and the home.
About: I have two kitties of my own, Shrimpy & Ouizee, who Iâve had for over 8 years! I came from a cat family with 3 in our home growing up, and strictly cats. That is until we fell in love with our sweet and sassy beagle, Sadee Mae, who we had for 13 years. I love animals of all kinds! Ready to give all the attention they want (or if weâre dealing with some cattitude, I can just check for proof of life and refill the food bowls)! Comfortable giving medication orally and topically for any special needs! My schedule is flexible now! I am hoping to work part time soon and will communicate any limitations to schedule well in advance. Iâm available as needed currently and will be reliable once committed. In my home there is plenty of space indoors for other animals to stay and keep my own cats separate, still with plenty of space too! I have a large backyard for dogs and would require them to be on a leash when leaving the house. I am able to walk them in my neighborhood as needed. If visiting a pet at their home, I will be comfortable hanging out, playing, walking, feeding, etc.
âAllyson was great with my dogs. She was on time for the walks, followed our detailed directions, and kept the dogs happy. She even took in a package I didn't realize was coming.â

âSophie was fantastic. She was a great communicator and extremely patient with my dog, Loki, who was meeting her for the first time and takes some time warming up to new people. Would highly recommend.â

About: Hello, my name is Ashley. I work full-time in healthcare and am seeking a supplemental income. Walking dogs and drop ins sound like a nice gig considering I am a lover of all animals. I am kind of new to this. I have once before boarded a dog a few years ago. Everything went well and my dog sure did enjoy having a friend. My dog means the world đ to me and I am the type of person to treat yours just as I do my own. I understand having someone else care for your loved one can be not the easiest. I would like to be the person that makes you feel comfortable, carefree and secure as I would want the same myself. đ¤ I work Monday through Friday day shift. I would be able to provide services until 8pm during the week days in addition to any time Saturday and Sunday until 8pm. I have been around/had dogs since I was a child. Ive always treated my dogs like a part of the family. I love all animals. âŁď¸
About: I love dogs, and more importantly when it comes to all animals, I have a huge heart. Dogs especially are my favorite. You couldn't ask for a more fun-loving, loyal, and caring companion to spend your time with. I have two amazing dogs of my own, walking, feeding, loving, and playing with them is priority. I will do the same with your dogs. I have a fenced yard, huge neighborhood to take dogs for a walk. I am willing to come to your neck of the woods if need be!
About: Iâve lived in a multi-pet household ever since I was born which has included dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and at one time, a bird, so I feel very comfortable when working with pets! I spent a bit of time volunteering at Southeastern Guide Dogs looking after puppies who were training to become certified guide dogs. As a pet owner myself I understand the importance of building trust in those who care for our furry family. I will strive to ensure that your pets are not only cared for, but feel comfortable and safe in my care! I currently work remotely which allows me to have a flexible schedule. Due to this I am able to accommodate different scheduling needs, so letâs work something out! I understand that with animals it is important to build trust. I prefer to go at your petâs pace and make sure they have what they need to feel comfortable around me. Following routines that they are comfortable with is key as well as letting your pet explore what they need to (sniffing, scoping out the scene).
âJoycemar goes above and beyond when she takes Heidi on her walks. She sends the cutest pictures and videos, and even has taken Heidi to the park. She makes sure Heidi gets her potty break and enough energy let out while she has her. She really does care about making your pet happy and Iâm so glad I found her!â

About: Iâve had experience caring for pets since 2011. I was the primary caretaker for our family cat while in middle and high school and Iâve owned my own dog and cats since 2017. I currently have 1 dog and 3 cats in my home and have fostered many more over the years. I have taken care of sick stray animals and nursed them back to health, found many their forever homes, and provided dependable care to ones already living with their families! I helped with local rescues for 4 years while living overseas and worked at our local boarding facility and shelter for 2 of those. My experience caring for pets is vast and I would love to have the opportunity to care for yours! Iâm currently taking a break from teaching to stay home with my little ones, so my availability is pretty flexible! I have availability for check ins with your pet daily and can check in multiple times if needed. I can provide multiple daily check ins for pets in your home. These stays can be anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour at a time to meet your pets needs. I can provide walking services or play time in your home and administer medications as needed.
About: Iâve been an animal lover since I was seven years old. What started as simple dog sitting and walking favors for friends has grown into a true passion. I love taking pets on walks, playing fetch in the backyard, and of course, enjoying plenty of cuddle time. Your petâs safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Iâll make sure your pet feels loved, secure, and well cared for while theyâre in my care. I work flexible hours and will be able to make your pet a priority. With scheduled walks and feedings, and of course all the snuggles. When caring for pets in my home or in a clientâs home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and care instructions provided by the owner. I make sure pets get plenty of exercise through walks and playtime, along with lots of attention and affection. Safety is always a priority. I supervise pets closely, keep their environment clean and secure, and make sure they have fresh water, meals, and bathroom breaks on schedule. I also enjoy downtime with pets, whether thatâs cuddling, relaxing together, or giving extra reassurance to shy or anxious animals. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and at ease while in my care.
Forest Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
It was my first time booking through Rover, and thanks to Amaya this will now be my go-to. Baxter is usually very tentative around strangers, he's very timid and definitely fears the unknown, but Amaya was so great with him. She's patient and knew exactly how to entice him to warm up quickly. Baxter came home in the best mood. Amaya showed up on time and she was super sweet. Definitely will book again!!

Julianna was amazing with my English bulldog, Sabel! She communicated clearly throughout the entire walk, kept me updated, and made me feel totally at ease. Bulldogs can be a bit particular, and she handled Sabel with patience and care. I could tell Sabel was comfortable and happy, which means everything to me. Iâd absolutely recommend Julianna to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and trustworthy dog walker. Iâll definitely be booking with her again.

Alexa was very kind and compassionate, and she knew how to communicate with my dog on his level, which was super important for me when picking a dog walker. My dog is very picky with who he trusts, but he gravitated towards Alexa because she made him feel comfortable. Alexa is also very easy to work with, and she was always quick to reply. If you want a reliable dog walker with a big heart for animals, Alexa is the way to go!

Woof! Hi, itâs me, Lucy. I am using my hoomanâs phonr (donât ask how) because I simply must leave a review for my Rover sitter, Jenna. First of all, when my hooman left, I thought âoh noâŚâ. But the Jenna walked in, smelled like treats, sunshine, and someone who definitely knows how to scratch behind my ears properly. Jenna walked me and even threw the ball for me at the park! I even got a belly rub when we got back. Now that is service! Canât wait for Jenna to walk me again! A++++

We have loved working with Jordan! She really goes the extra mile when taking care of my pup. He is typically timid with new walkers but she knows exactly how to make him comfortable. They even play a hide and seek game with treats that he loves! It really puts my mind at ease while working knowing that sheâs going to be caring for him. Also wonderful communicating when she will be getting there and all details of the visit.

Roxana has walked Jack several times, and sheâs always been great. Sheâs been able to help me out last minute. Jack is a strong ball of muscle and he can be reactive to other animals and loud noises, and sheâs seemed to have handled him well. Iâd definitely recommend her!
