I have volunteered before at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and at a local animal rehabilitation center in Orlando. I have experience with responsibilities such as feeding, walking, cleaning, and providing love and companionship. I have also have experience in administering special diets to animals and enrichment. I always keep my home cleaned and tidy and make sure to always keep my space pet-friendly. I will provide regular updates including photos to the owner since I know it can be hard to be away from your little one! I can’t wait to meet your pets! I am currently working part-time but I am available anytime before and after work to care for your pets. Other than that I am always at home and available. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. **Please do not book boarding for the weekend if your pet cannot handle being alone for 12-13 hours (in regards to going to the bathroom), as I work every weekend** I am in college and I work full time. I typically work 3-12 hour shifts a week, but my class schedule is more flexible. Please just ask if a date/time works and I will let you know! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.
“Nigel carried my "baby" home the other day because she couldn't make it back on her own. He let me know and checked back in with between visits to see if she was ok. I knew Nigel was special since he began helping me with my dog but he went above and beyond, carrying a 65 pound pit bull home instead of dragging her and using harsh commands. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds my entire life! I helped my family foster dogs of all ages and sizes (up to 23 at a time) since elementary school. I haven’t met a doggy I didn’t love! I’ve cared for dogs by administering medicine, grooming, wrapping injuries, and more. I love going on runs and playing catch if your furry family needs some exercise as well! I work full time, but have a lengthy lunch break and free evenings after 5pm. I would be happy to drop in for an early morning visit as well.
