“Connor (CK) took great care of Roxy while we were out of town for 3 days. He took her on walks and to the dog park, and provided lots of attention. He followed our instructions and took good care of our home. He sent pics and a report each day. She was calm when we got back home — a sure sign that she was well cared for.”

“Natalie was AWESOME with Grey! She came to meet him a few times, before she stayed with him, to insure he was comfortable with her. She was very good with Grey. She played with him more than we do, I am sure. She sent us pictures and videos multiple times a day. She contacted me if something arose that I had not mentioned or explained about his idiosyncrasies. He loves her, and so do we. We were concerned that he would want to go with her, when she left / went home from the stay!! That is how much she did for him.”

“Evan was great! Very good with handling Delilah and providing updates on her as well as not being afraid to ask clairfying questions for things I forgot to mention in her care plan”

“Meghan is excellent! She communicated with me throughout my entire trip to let me know how everything was going. My Maisie has a bit of anixiety and Meghan did a fantastic job with her. Everything was great!”

“Pickles had a great time with Valerie. Valeries sent so many pictures all adventures she took Pickles on and reassuring pictures of pickles tucked into bed at night. Thank you so much!”

“Jessica did a great job taking care of my pets for the weekend! All of them adored her and Jessica sent me a bunch of pictures. I really appreciated that, since it was my first time leaving the pets with someone I didn’t know personally. She also took my trash out to the curb when I completely forgot to do it before I left, so an absolute rockstar all around!”

“Wallis did an amazing job taking care of Olivia. My cat came down with a UTI right before I had to go out of town. Wallis kept me updated on her progress, and was very communicative and helpful when Olivia gave us a little scare and had to go to the vet. Olivia is doing very well now, and I’m really grateful that Wallis took such good care of her.”

“This is my second time booking Autumn to stay in my home to take care of my dog and cat. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! My pets got plenty of love and hugs. Autumn was very responsive and made me feel as ease being away from home.”

“Mariah was awesome! From the moment she met our dog I knew she would be a good fit—Stella was at ease and loved her. You could tell from the pictures she sent that Stella and the cats were happy and comfortable and that she was taking great care of them. 10/10 would definitely book again!”

“This was our first time entrusting Patrick with our house and pups. We were quite confident in our decision when, during the meet and greet, Patrick inquired about our care routines in detail, which we hadn’t been asked before. Throughout our trip, Patrick kept us informed about our pups’ well-being by sending us pictures of their adventures. We appreciated receiving these updates as they allowed us to stay connected while we were away. We highly recommend Patrick for future dog-sitting needs and believe he would be a great fit for your requirements as well.”

“Lyla went above and beyond for our two dogs (mini poodle and pitbull mix) while we were away for a long weekend. She came to meet them a few days before we left and took them on a walk so they could acclimate to her. She kept us updated with messages and pictures, took them on two walks per day, did tricks with them, and kept them safe and entertained the whole weekend. We'll absolutely be booking with her again!!”

“Leslie did a fantastic job watching our two dogs (and fish and houseplants!) while we were away for a week. I felt totally secure leaving my home in her care and returned to happy, healthy pets. I would definitely book her again.”

“Heather was absolutely amazing from her meet & greet many months ago to the end of her stay last week. Our sassy senior poodle can be a little grouchy & a picky eater, but he warmed up to her so quickly. She followed all instructions for his care and the care of our home perfectly and then some - she really went above & beyond. Her updates and photos were super cute & made us feel at ease. We returned to everything just as we had left it, and most importantly, a very happy dog. Thanks Heather!!”

“She was amazing, was able to book her last minute and she was very good with communication. She sent photos and videos while she was over watching our dog and even left a note! Would highly recommend and will definitely be using her again!”

About: I've been around animals my entire life. My family has always owned dogs, I myself am a cat mom, and I've spent the past few years working with different pet-care companies. I'm looking to leave my full-time job in order to pursue doing more things that bring me joy. Without the job, I will have plenty of time and energy to spend caring for your fur babies! I do not currently care for pets in my own home. I prefer to care for them in their own homes, where they feel comfortable and safe in their own space.
Forest Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ann has been amazing with our dog, Laska. She’s reliable, communicative, and clearly cares deeply—Laska took to her right away. We always felt at ease knowing Laska was in great hands, and she treated our home with the utmost respect. We’re so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Once again Virginia was a terrific sitter taking care of our dogs Willow and Roxy while we traveled over a long weekend. We have had her as our dog/house sitter for 7 years now. Our dogs love her and she does a super job caring for them and taking care of our house. We highly recommend her!

Kristina and Fletcher stayed with our dog for two weeks while we were in Europe. Just before we left, our dog developed both a fear of walking at night due and some gastrointestinal issues. We were extremely worried about leaving her but they gave her lots of love and patience about walking and rolled with her new diet restrictions. They also sent us lots of updates because they knew we were worried. We came back to a happy and healthy dog and are grateful to have had two conscientious dog pros with our girl when we couldn’t be.

5 Stars – Amazing Care for My Dogs! Joe V. boarded my two dogs in his home while we were away, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. From the start, Joe was professional, friendly, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs in his care. He took the time to learn their personalities and needs, which really stood out to me. Throughout their stay, Joe kept me updated with regular photos and messages, showing how much my dogs were enjoying their time with him and the other dogs in his care. I could tell they were treated like family! When we came home, my dogs were happy, relaxed, and in great spirits—proof that they were well cared for. Joe’s home and fenced yard are well-suited for pets, and I felt confident they were in good hands the whole time. I highly recommend Joe if you're looking for a trustworthy, kind, and reliable pet sitter. I will definitely be reaching out again next time we need care for our dogs!
