“Josh and Stephanie do such a great job watching my dog. I had a traumatizing experience using rover a couple years back, they were the first people I used since that experience, they send me updates and photos of my dog throughout the day, and always let me know how he is doing. I am not going to be using anybody else. Guaranteed satisfaction if you book with them, 100% of the time!”

“Jonathan is AMAZING! He took such great care of my little ball of nervous energy, Lily. Such great communication…daily video updates and photos. Lil is very high strung in new environments and was accustomed to her previous sitter of 5 years. Jonathan handled her with ease. We definitely found our new go to person. Thank you Jonathan!”

“This was our first time using a new boarder in many years, and Nancy put any anxieties to rest by sending us daily pictures and videos. I’m not sure our Ruby wanted to come home she was having so much fun!”

“My dog seemed very happy and well cared for with Soma and her family. I am glad she only takes one client at a time and has one little dog of her own. I will definitely use her again.❤”

“Took amazing care of my pet cat Bandit!!! Took a lot of photos and provided great updates, will definitely use him again if we ever go on another trip like this!! :)”

“Stephanie was wonderful. She treated my Snowball just like he was hers🥰. She sent pictures everyday to let us know how he was doing. She went above and beyond with his care. I will definitely be using her again🙌🏾🙌🏾.”

About: I’ve been caring for my own pets since I was small. I’ve never lived without a dog, cat, both, guinea pigs or birds. I’ve pet sat for family and friends for 20 years, so I figured since I love it, I’d expand:). We have two sweet small dogs who love having friends over. I taught for 28 years but now work from home. My husband works from home too, and he also cares for pets with me. We have two daughters who’ve recently graduated college. Pets bring joy to an empty nest and unconditional love. I hope you consider letting your animals staycation at our home. We’d love to have them be a part of the family. Thank you so very much! I am on a flexible schedule and available daily and nightly to care for your pets. It is my pleasure to provide you peace of mind. I have a fenced yard and air-conditioned home where dogs are allowed to play, rest, and hang out. I have a sweet Shih Tzu and pug companion as well:)
“When I say Ms. Julie is the best in her field. Ms. Julie and her husband were awesome., I had an absolute emergency. They didn't hesitate with my two large dogs and cat. I received videos, pictures this duo is the place to be. I'll definitely be back”

“I had a wonderful experience with Crystal. She was incredibly responsive, which made the booking process, pick up and drop off smooth. The care my pet received was exceptional; I can tell Crystal and her family truly love animals and treated my fur child like their own. Crystal was super friendly and kept me updated with photos, videos, and messages throughout the stay. I will definitely be booking with Crystal again and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring pet sitter!”

“Melinda is so professional and great with Krash! He can be a bit of a handful and high energy and she handles him so well. She was even super gracious to me when I had travel complications and was a few hours late to pick him up. 10/10 recommend Melinda”

“Lexie was fantastic! My dog loved her and he felt comfortable from the moment he walked in the door. She made my dog feel welcome and was very accommodating to his needs. Lexie was very quick to respond and kept me updated during his stay. Will definitely use her again and would be great with all pets!”

“Zachary and his family were absolutely wonderful to communicate with. This was our pups first time staying overnight with new caretakers and we’re super satisfied with the outcome. We received multiple photo updates from throughout the dogs stay keeping us in the loop on how they were doing. Not to mention Zachary and his wife were just kind individuals in general making us feel even more comfortable to leave our pups in their care. Will definitely be coming back again the next time we make the tough decision to go out of town without our babies- we know they’d be in good hands!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Forest Hill
We loved Mercy and her family. My dog is a recent addition to my family and we were apprehensive about leaving on a 3 day trip without her. Mercy invited us for a meet and greet beforehand and we felt our dog would be in good hands with them. We received many pictures and updates everyday along with perfect communication from Mercy.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
