“Erica was amazing! She knew how special our babies were and sent messages accordingly. She put our minds at ease! Definitely recommend if you are in the Gulf Shore area!”

“Bethany has been our dog walker for a few months now and our mini Aussie loves her. We met her at our house before her first walk and she is so friendly and sweet! We always feel sad when we have to leave him locked up on days we work, but we know he loves it when she comes over and takes care of him! We are so lucky to have found her!”

About: My name is Casey. I have been working with dogs professionally for about a decade in Washington state. Ran a small boarding and training business in WA. Trained hundreds of dogs with their owners in sport, obedience, group classes, service, and behavioral modification. Me and my family are moving south to the Mobile area and I am exited to start working with dogs again in a different area and meet all the new personalities the dogs have! Currently waiting on our permanent residence. We will be buying in the mobile area within a month or 2 with acreage but our current rental may not allow boarding but I can still do private training sessions and house/pet sitting. Will update this as soon as everything is set up! Kennels will be spaced apart, all dogs with behavioral problems like anxiety or reactivity will have their own quiet area. All the social dogs will get to play during the day. Every dog gets 1 on 1 time and there will be a fenced yard to rotate dogs throughout the day.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always the one bringing home and caring for animals that needed extra love and attention. I even wanted to become a veterinarian — but my heart is just a little too soft when it comes to animals. Caring for pets isn’t just a side job for me — it genuinely makes me happy. I truly love spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Your dog won’t just get a quick visit — they’ll get someone who genuinely enjoys being there. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to accommodate walks and potty breaks every few hours. Your dog’s routine and comfort will always be a priority. I currently offer drop-in visits and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to stop by every few hours if needed. During each visit, I make sure your pet gets potty breaks, fresh water, feeding (if needed), and plenty of playtime and attention. I truly love spending time with dogs — whether that’s playing fetch, going for a short walk, or just giving belly rubs and keeping them company. I always follow your pet’s routine closely to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m very clean and respectful of your home and treat every space as if it were my own. My goal is to make sure you come home to a happy pet and peace of mind.

Through sickness and health, dogs deserve the best care possible and an active lifestyle. I have always prided myself on not letting my dogs sit inside all day, so I have plenty of experience walking/playing/chilling out with our best friends. I'm currently on a full-time job search, so I will have plenty of time to walk/feed/play with your dogs etc. for multiple hours of the day! I live on Fish River with a yard and plenty of safe walking areas. We have a fenced patio as well for outdoor relaxing for the dogs! There is also a swimming area with easy access if a client would ever want their dog to play in the water!
About: I've been pet sitting for 8+ years now, beginning when I was asked by a family friend to pet sit/house sit for a few weekends when I was 18. While I had been babysitting almost my entire life for both my immediate family and family friends (I am the oldest child of 3 sisters- so you could say I was born for this haha), pets were new to me. This didn’t stop me, however, and immediately, I was IN LOVE!! Her babies became my babies & I’ve never stopped loving each and every animal I have come into contact with since! I have cared for both big and small animals with no love lost in between. I grew up with 3 rabbits in the house who we let roam freely, a bearded dragon, a bird, a dog, and several outside cats! I also now have 2 (inside) cats of my own who I treat like my children. I understand the value and necessity of having a good sitter who you can trust and who is reliable. I am trustworthy, patient, responsible, and the best pet sitter for you! I hope to talk to you soon. :) I am currently available at all hours to take care of ALL of the fur babies! Seriously - I am honored to take care of them! The best thing about me is that I PAY ATTENTION! I am extremely attentive and I will care for your pet as if they are my own. To me, pets are not just animals, they are truly a member of the family so you can trust me to provide your loved one the care that they deserve. I am observant and thoughtful, so your fur baby is in good hands with me. Let me know if you have any questions or preferences because I am more than willing to help. :)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies for over 6 years. I’ve worked with the youngest of pups to the eldest. I’m the go to dog sitter in my circle of friends and come highly recommended! I make sure to take your lead. You know your dog best and I’d like to make sure that your dog is cared for and loved during your absence. I always make sure to ask about your pups diet and consistently check in with pet owners throughout the stay. I like keeping a clean environment to limit any accidentals.

About: From puppies to senior adult dogs, I have experience in it all. I work in the medical field myself (on humans) but have had plenty of opportunities over the years to be exposed to different breeds and what works best for them. I’m looking forward to getting to know your dog’s personality and what care best suits them! When I was about ten years old, my family adopted our first dog. I had had it written on my mirror for MONTHS - “I want a beagle.” The timing was perfect that one just happen to wander into our lives (he was about a year old at that time)! I spent my childhood caring for my dog, taking him on daily walks. Flash forward a few years to the end of his life, he unfortunately went blind and was diagnosed with diabetes. I helped care for him by giving him his insulin shots and making it as easy as possible to navigate the house. I was very involved in his care during his senior years and have always had a soft spot for elderly dogs. When I was in college, I decided to take on a dog of my own and got a puppy for the first time. My dog, Wilson, was seven weeks old when I got him - he is now almost eight so I guess I did something right 🤪 I work as a registered nurse, so I work three days a week and have the other four days a week to play with your pups! If you have any questions regarding my availability, please reach out to me! I will follow all house rules and rules regarding your pets. Having used Rover for my own dog, I know how important it is to know and trust the sitter that you are allowing into your home to watch your sweet babies. I hope that we can establish a relationship where I can be that for you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
