About: While every pet sitter is great and have great qualities, there is something that set each of us apart but also make us very alike. We all have a love for animals. What is unique about me, is that this is my personal opportunity to be around more animals than I myself can have. It is my pleasure to keep your beloved pets safe and happy. This is a part of me that I want to embrace in life. There’s no bad dogs in my book! I can be very attentive to your dog’s needs, whether they need more exercise or if they’re in need of a potty break. I have loved dogs all my life so you can be sure your dog is in great hands! I recently moved here from Gulfport and I am seeking to continue dog sitting as I did before. I look forward to meeting new faces. I can care for your pets in my home by giving them attention and love. They will be able to freely roam the house and the yard when leashed. I also offer free baths if you’d like for your pup to go home smelling fresh! 🚿 I work part time elsewhere until I can make this full time. Some weekends I’m busy with family, but when I have nothing going on I’m able to provide pet care. I have a two dogs of my own that will get to spend time with your pups. I have a great amount of outdoor space for them to run around and play. When they’re inside I keep them company and make sure I’m watching what they do. They also get plenty of cuddles from me and my husband. I also watch that both your pups and my own are playing nice and aren’t getting too rough with each other. As for care in your home, I make sure everything is left where it was last seen so nothing is missed. I make sure their area is left clean before leaving and nothing they shouldn’t have is around.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always the one bringing home and caring for animals that needed extra love and attention. I even wanted to become a veterinarian — but my heart is just a little too soft when it comes to animals. Caring for pets isn’t just a side job for me — it genuinely makes me happy. I truly love spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Your dog won’t just get a quick visit — they’ll get someone who genuinely enjoys being there. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to accommodate walks and potty breaks every few hours. Your dog’s routine and comfort will always be a priority. I currently offer drop-in visits and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to stop by every few hours if needed. During each visit, I make sure your pet gets potty breaks, fresh water, feeding (if needed), and plenty of playtime and attention. I truly love spending time with dogs — whether that’s playing fetch, going for a short walk, or just giving belly rubs and keeping them company. I always follow your pet’s routine closely to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m very clean and respectful of your home and treat every space as if it were my own. My goal is to make sure you come home to a happy pet and peace of mind.

That’s the best way to ensure they continue to feel happy and comfortable with me! My schedule is very very flexible! I can watch your pet on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and overnight! Whatever you need, I can do! I also understand that travel plans could abruptly change, (flights get delayed, etc.) so don’t worry. About: 🐾 Welcome to Our Home Away From Home! 🐾 I believe every pet deserves to be treated like family. When your furry friend stays with me, they’ll receive the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own dogs. Building trust with both pets and their owners is the most important part of what I do, and I strive to make every visit safe, fun, and stress-free. I encourage meet-and-greets for new clients whenever possible so we can get to know each other, discuss your pet’s routine, answer any questions, and make sure everyone is comfortable before their stay. Boarding Boarding takes place in my home, where your pet will be part of our daily life not left alone in a kennel. I stay home full-time, so your dog will have plenty of supervision, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run, explore, and burn off energy. My own two dogs love making new friends: * Pumpkin is my “teenager who acts like a senior.” She’s laid-back, sweet, and enjoys relaxing just as much as playing. * Molly is a six-month-old puppy with lots of energy who loves to play and make new friends. Whether your pet enjoys zoomies in the yard or curling up for a nap, I’ll do my best to match their comfort level and routine. Personalized Care Every pet is different, and every family has different expectations. I’ll happily follow your feeding schedule, medication instructions, exercise preferences, and any special routines that help your pet feel at home. My goal is to keep their experience as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away. You’ll also receive updates and photos, because I know how important it is to know your pet is happy and well cared for. My Experience Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Along with professional experience caring for pets, I grew up helping care for neighborhood pets and family animals. Those experiences taught me that patience, consistency, and genuine love make all the difference. When you book with me, you’re not just finding someone to watch your pet, you’re choosing someone who will welcome them into the family and treat them with the love and care they deserve. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! 🐶❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of affection. I plan my schedule to ensure every pet receives the time and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, routines, and exercise while maintaining a clean, secure environment. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play, and my two friendly dogs adore other fur babies and enjoy making new friends. I believe in building trust with both pets and their owners through reliable care, patience, and regular updates. 🐾

About: From puppies to senior adult dogs, I have experience in it all. I work in the medical field myself (on humans) but have had plenty of opportunities over the years to be exposed to different breeds and what works best for them. I’m looking forward to getting to know your dog’s personality and what care best suits them! When I was about ten years old, my family adopted our first dog. I had had it written on my mirror for MONTHS - “I want a beagle.” The timing was perfect that one just happen to wander into our lives (he was about a year old at that time)! I spent my childhood caring for my dog, taking him on daily walks. Flash forward a few years to the end of his life, he unfortunately went blind and was diagnosed with diabetes. I helped care for him by giving him his insulin shots and making it as easy as possible to navigate the house. I was very involved in his care during his senior years and have always had a soft spot for elderly dogs. When I was in college, I decided to take on a dog of my own and got a puppy for the first time. My dog, Wilson, was seven weeks old when I got him - he is now almost eight so I guess I did something right 🤪 I work as a registered nurse, so I work three days a week and have the other four days a week to play with your pups! If you have any questions regarding my availability, please reach out to me! I will follow all house rules and rules regarding your pets. Having used Rover for my own dog, I know how important it is to know and trust the sitter that you are allowing into your home to watch your sweet babies. I hope that we can establish a relationship where I can be that for you!

FAQs for Dog Walking - Elsanor

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 958 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Elsanor. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Elsanor. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Elsanor.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Elsanor. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
