We can be available most days of the week with at least a days notice. We have a fenced backyard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur babies company. We won’t crate your pup unless you request it. We are also happy to walk you dogs upon request.

“Josh has made going out of town easier and less stressful with his reliable care for our 4 furbabies (2 dogs and 2 cats). Thankful we have a go-to person who can handle their varying personalities and routines. We enjoy reading the Rover cards and we know our pets enjoy their visits with Josh, too!”

“Errin watched out 2 large dogs when we had to go out of town for a quick trip. She arrived at the pre-arranged time, fed them, let them out and stayed with them longer she had to. And our Boxer fell in love with her. She has a great relationship with dogs and we will call on her again when we need a pet titter or someone to stop by to let them out/feed them.”

About: State pet adoption CEO hired me! Many years of experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, sugar gliders, and other pets. Reliable. Integrity matters! Fostering experience. #pickme Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy being active and spending time with animals. I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it's walks, playtime, potty breaks, or simply providing comfort and care, I make pets a priority and enjoy incorporating their needs into my everyday activities. The only time I’m not available os Sunday mornings (church-my husband’s a minister). I care for pets in their own home by maintaining their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I provide lots of attention and companionship and do my best to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards you name it. I’m very good with instructions, and follow them thoroughly. I will make sure your pet is happy :) I’m currently working part-time. I am also a college student, but my classes are online currently. I will have plenty of time to check on any pets, walk them, play with them. I am very patient and gentle with animals, and have a huge soft spot for them. Whatever I am instructed to do, I will make sure it will be done effectively
About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years and have experience with pets of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I currently have two senior dogs, so I understand the patience, attention, and extra care that older pets need. I also previously cared for an epileptic dog, so I understand the importance of medication routines and recognizing when something may not be right. Every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I'll tailor my care to their individual needs to help them feel happy, comfortable, and most importantly, safe! I currently work remotely full-time, which allows me the flexibility for walks and drop-in visits before work, during lunch and in the evenings. I'm also available most weekends and will do my best to accommodate your pet's normal routine. Trusting someone with your home and pets is a huge decision. Before providing care, I like to walk through your pet's routine with you to understand where everything is so I can provide consistent care while you're away. I'll take notes so I can carefully follow feeding schedules, administer medications and any other special instructions you may have. I also believe in leaving your home the way I found it, so I'm happy to clean up litter boxes, tidy up any pet messes and vacuum up hair or tracked litter. I understand the level of trust that comes with caring for your pets and home, and I'll always take that responsibility seriously.

About: I’ve grown up training dogs, learning about their behaviors, and researching the best ways to care for them. They’re my all- time favorite animals, so I love spending my time with them :) I live on a few acres in Liberty Hill, with a few intact male dogs on the property; along with poultry, livestock, and other livestock guardian dogs. I currently work in the mornings, so my own dogs are let outside to play in my yard while I am out. They’re not destructive or escapees, so they have the special privileges now :) I have a very large fenced in yard with lots of toys and extra space outside to walk, with the entire property fenced. There are a few intact male dogs, so I don’t accept any intact male dogs for safety reasons. I have two extra crates to use if necessary while I am running an errand.
About: Since I was a young girl, I have always been fascinated by animals—particularly dogs. I begged my parents to get me my first pet—Jasper, a rescued Labrador retriever—at age 7. Taking care of Jasper was my main focus as well the odd assortment of fish and hamsters we had. When Jasper passed, and I graduated high school, my next door neighbor had a litter of golden retriever puppies. I was ready to have another animal, and that’s when Kensie came into my life. Kensie was my soul dog, and she passed away two years ago. We did everything together—going to dog parks around town, Zilker park, and even red bud (before the algae), and going to dog-friendly establishments in Austin. She was my best friend. Unfortunately, her last few months on earth were extremely challenging. I was up with her three to four times a night (sometimes more), administering multiple medications, and helping her stand/walk. When the time came to say goodbye, I could barely make the decision to let her go. I miss her so much, but because of my current living situation, don’t have the opportunity to get another dog. That’s where Rover comes in. I love animals, and am extremely responsible when it comes to taking care of someone’s pet. This will give me my ‘fix’ and also be a productive side hustle for me. It will be an honor to walk//watch your pet. I will give the very care and concern I gave my own pets. Not only have I had my own pets, but I have experience with a variety of breeds—including catahoulas and boxers. As mentioned above, I have extensive experience working with senior dogs and administering medication. I’m currently in a transition phase in my life, and am looking for something productive and rewarding. I have pretty much limitless availability to cater to whatever your dog may need. At the moment, I can’t accept any dogs into my home, but if given the opportunity to stay at a client’s house, I would follow all instructions given while simultaneously respecting the space and showering your dog with love and attention.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
