About: Though I'm new to Rover, I've been pet-sitting for neighbors and friends for 10+ years! I've taken care of dogs, cats, llamas, goats, and more. I've lived my whole life with dogs and cats of all ages, so I'm familiar with puppy/kitten and senior care. I know how to give medications including oral, topical, and injectable. I love animals and I promise to give your pets the same love and compassionate care I give my own! I'm currently working part time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I may be able to accommodate some last-minute requests, especially for drop-ins or dog walking. I live in Greene County, but I commute to Harrisonburg when I'm working so I can potentially take bookings around that area as well. PLEASE NOTE: I cannot hold dates for a pending request indefinitely. If your intention is to book with me, please confirm the booking as soon as you can so I can update my availability accordingly both on Rover and with my other job. Prompt communication is greatly appreciated! I believe it's most ideal for your pet if they can stay in their home environment and keep to their usual routine while you're away. If your dog likes to visit a certain tree on all their walks, or your cat gets a treat at a specific time each day, let me know! Please also share any quirks, anxieties, medical problems, or anything else special about your pet so I can cater to their individual needs.

About: Hi! For many years, I was a Fear Free Certified veterinary assistant in Charlottesville, VA. I also have experience as a dog kennel manager, farm assistant & animal rescue volunteer/advocate. During my 10 years of petsitting work, i’ve learned how to make your pets as stress free as possible while your away. Petsitting is currently my full time job! I create my own schedule, which allows flexibility for everyone! and plenty of time to spend with your pets. With my background in animal healthcare, I am decidicated to keeping your pets safe, happy and healthy. This includes checking in with owners during care!

About: I’ve lived on a farm my whole. Currently a veterinary assistant therefore i can give proper care to your babies! I’m great with all temperaments/sizes! I am currently employed full-time at an animal hospital! I work 3 days a week from 8AM-8PM (which days vary) I am happy to drop in before/after my shifts if I have to work during when you need my assistance! I currently am looking for an apartment but generally in the home i’ve grown up in for 20 years, I live on a farm and take care of livestock/cats/dogs!

About: I have been a pet owner for over 15 years and have experience working with terminally ill cats and dogs. I also have been trained under vets both in-clinic and out of clinic. I currently work part time a couple hours with horses in barn and an Australian Shepherd. So I have ample time to spend with your fur babies at home. I am an energetic person, so I love to go for walks, spend ample time outside playing fetch and other stimulating games. I also enjoy water play if the fur babies enjoy water.

About: Since I’ve been living on my own, I’ve had 3 dogs. Three Golden Retrievers over the last 30+ years. They are the best animals and I will take care of your dog as if it was my own. I can take care of animals Friday nights and all day Saturday and Sunday. I am available to stay over to watch animals on Friday and Saturday nights. I can come by houses to walk dogs or feed animals anytime after 5:30 during the week from Monday to Friday. I will come to your house and walk dogs, feed animals, and even clean litter boxes if needed during the work week. On Friday and Saturday nights, I can stay over.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a kid! I recently have been working as a nanny and that has involved light care for pets as well, my current duties are walking the two dogs and feeding them treats and filling water bowls. I am very loving and caring. My previous job involved feeding and letting the pup out in the back yard to play and to help keep track of certain habits due to the dog having food allergies. I am so fond of animals as a whole that my future goal is to buy a house with lots of land and do free lance dog boarding! I would love to help your family with your pet’s needs! About: I have walked dogs and house-sat dogs and cats since I was a kid! I walked dogs for family and friends for vacations, during the work day, or for weekend trips! I am avaliable to fit pet care during the week, Monday- Friday, from 6 am to 6pm. I am pretty flexible on times and specific needs! I am happy to spend time walking your fur baby, tiring them out with fetch or a game, or being around them to keep them company.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. My oldest dog lived until he was 17. I played with my animals everyday for hours at a time. They were always well taken care of I’m basically free everyday of the week because all my classes are online so i’m able to care for your pets at anytime of the day I read the instructions that i’m given and go based off that. About: I have been caring for my own pets my whole life and started pet sitting around 3 years ago. I love working with animals! I can help with basic training during my stay with your fur babies. I am a full time pet sitter in Ball Ground, GA and surrounding areas. I accept house sitting visits twice a month and dog walking/ drop ins full time. Many people have trusted me to care for their home and their fur babies while they’re away. About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. If you think your dog is aggressive, I can and will evaluate them so that if possible, we will get them socializing with their own kind and having a great time. Thanks, have a good day! I train dogs for a living so I stay at my house 7 days a week besides when I work with clients and those lessons tend to run about an hour but no more than 2 hours! I have 9 years experience running my own kennel and have two dogs with a large fence so there will be no boredom here! I do prefer to kennel dogs for the night but as we get comfortable with each other they will start to earn more freedom! Pet care is my full time job and i wouldn’t have it any other way, it has been a blessing. I hope I can help make your schedule less stressful! While you’re away, let your dogs play! I have a five foot fenced in dog yard specifically for dogs. We also have another 5 acres that we will walk all client dogs on during their stay with us.-
