“We used Jennifer's services for an overnight stay at her home. Jennifer was great to work with and very flexible around our schedule. Our pup Sadie had a great time! I would definitely use Jennifer again.”

“Our Molly was not sure about things when first dropped off but, soon realized no worries and going to be well kept. They walked her even though they have a large fenced in yard that was a bonus to us. We will definitely be re booking with Ryan when needed.”

“I highly recommend Gretchen and Marc! They are the only people other than family that I’ve ever left my dog with. The minute I met them I could tell they were really kind people. I never worried about my dog while she was with them. It’s great that they only keep one dog or family of dogs at a time since my dog is a bit of an Alpha dog I didn’t have to worry about any potential fighting. Would definitely book them again!”

“Tiffany did a wonderful job with our Evie. She sent regular updates and pictures throughout the week. Her home was very tidy, and she made a special space for Evie. When we picked her up, her kitty box had been cleaned, and all of her belongings were well organized. Evie is very shy, but she seemed to do well at Tiffany's home. We will definitely use her again, and we recommend her highly.”

“I had an emergency and had to go out of town very quickly. She responded to my message very quickly and I was able to drop Murphy off within a few hours. I’ve only left Murphy overnight one time before and was nervous, but she communicated so well and sent me pictures which really helped with my aniexty. Murphy had such a good stay and loved her little dog as well. I will definitely let Murphy stay with her in the future. He had a great doggie sleepover.”
“JR and his family are absolutely the best for my dog sitting needs. This is the second time my dog Findley has stayed with JR and both times I arrive back home to a calm happy dog. My dog is quite spoiled and JR is happy following my dogs feeding and treat routine. JR takes him for walks and plays ball with him in the nice fenced in yard. Receiving pictures while I’m on vacation is a wonderful plus that eases my mind while I am missing my dog. JR treats dogs like family and is very responsive when messaging. I highly recommend JR and so thankful to have him take good care of Findley!”

“My dog had a wonderful long weekend with Amber. She sent me pictures of his stay and kept me updated. The pictures she sent let me know my dog was in good hands and getting to snuggle and getting good belly rubs. I would not hesitate to have her care for my dog again. Thanks Amber.”

About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)
“Richard is a super great sitter! He is very awesome and well taken care of my little dog Ruby. Richard sends pictures and concerns about Ruby, I was very impressed with it. I will definitely use him in the near future. I highly recommend it and give him a 5 star rating!!! Thanks, Richard.”

“Carmy had a great time with Chan & his golden, George! We had a last minute booking due to a last minute cancellation, and Chan was so nice in accommodating us for the Thanksgiving holiday week. Super communicative and shared lots of photo & video updates each day which I loved. Highly recommend Chan as a Rover sitter and would trust him to watch my Carmy again!”

“Erica was wonderful in caring for my Archie - as was her family of several children! There were several dogs in Erica’s care and that was a bonus for Archie! He came home happy and exhausted. Erica has a big heart and it is evident she enjoys the dogs in her care. Her home Is very dog friendly and her large fenced in backyard is a playground for dogs! When in the area I will certainly reach out to Erica again. Highly recommend!”

“Our Shih Tzus were very well taken take of. Nakeisha took great care of them and sent us photos of them having a great weekend so we had no worries leaving them. Will gladly recommend this buisness to anyone!”

“Lauren was great with Onyx. We received daily photos and it made us feel at ease. We had no worries about Onyx even though we were a state away. I plan on booking Lauren again for future stays.”

“What a fantastic couple, they treated my little ball of crazy wonderfully. They were extremely attentive to her Needs and kept me informed of what was going on the whole time. Wouldn’t hesitate to leave your dog here for a week or two or however, long they are fantastic. ❤️”

“We were lucky to find Pamela and Barry. They arranged a meet and greet and you can tell they are true pet lovers! Their home is super pet friendly. They sent of videos and pictures of our fur babies while we were away. Our fur babies had the opportunity to socialize with other pups as well. If the need arises to have our doggies looked after again, I would not hesitate to leave them with Pamela and Barry!”

“This was our first time using Rover and having anyone outside of family watching Honey, and Kathryn made us feel comfortable and gave us peace of mind from the beginning. She made sure that Honey was well taken care of but also enjoyed her time away with daily walks, fetch, snuggles, and affection. She was communicative the entire time and the daily pics helped with missing our girl. Will absolutely think of Kathryn for future needs!”

“This was my first time looking for Pet sitting for my busy body Frenchie & I was nervous. Angela is AMAZING! Her communication, personality & overall care is top notch! Not to mention she eased any anxiety I had from our first chat. Also, it was wonderful to receive the hilarious photos daily of my Kenzo. I am already re-booking with her again. If you want your pet to feel right at home & be treated with love & care then Angela is for you! She really is a great person inside & out.”

Amber was a great sitter for our dog. She was flexible when our plans changed, sent pics and updates each day, and was a pleasure to work with. She has a great home situated on a quiet side street with a nice yard. I highly recommend to anyone who wants loving care for their hound.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Flat Creek home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Flat Creek.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Flat Creek sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
