Big yard, lots of dog toys, work from home, dogs are welcome to lounge on the couches and beds too. I don't know what else to say here, but I needed 25 words to make the "next" button work

I am not sure what to say here, but I need to write 25 words to continue, so here are those 25 words now. Thanks!

Play around the house. Go for walks. I live on about an acre+ that backs up to Flat Creek, which feeds into the lake. I'm also more than happy to put them in the car and go to bigger trails or dog parks if you'd like. Outside of that... Lots of petting and lounging. I work at home, so they're more than welcome to lie next to me while I'm on the computer. They usually do!

Pet care experience
I have had many dogs throughout my life. I was unbelievably sad when my last one died, so I am not ready for another pup just yet. So for now, yours will have to do! I like dogs of all shapes and sizes and have my own experience with complicated dog-life situations. My last one (a Bassett Hound named Mugsey) went through chemo for cancer, became diabetic and blind, aaaand deaf, aaand then developed urinary incontinence. I built him ramps for the couch and the bed. I gave him insulin injections for 2+ years. I fed him at psychotically specific times per day and with very precise amounts of food (ugh, diabetes). And I loved him just as much through those tough times as I did when he was healthy. I love all dogs more than most people and it would be great to take care of some again from time to time. Oh, and I made a trail that goes down to a river/creek from my backyard, and a big trail along the creek. Dogs love it, and so do I! I'll put up a big fence in the yard eventually, but for now... leash walks whenever the dog/dogs want to go! Also, I moved here from Houston about a year ago, and am just getting around to Rover'ing here. The pictures on my profile are in that old house. I'll update soon with new ones here. Thanks!!

This was our second time booking with Dan and just like the first time, he was awesome! Ace was extremely happy to see him and really seemed to enjoy his stay. Throughout Ace’s stay, Dan did a great job of updating me with pictures of Ace which was very reassuring. Dan is awesome with dogs and seems to care for Ace as he is he own! Any time I’m going to be out of town for an extended period, Dan is the first person I reach out to.

Dan was great with Jax!

Dan and Liz were absolutely phenomenal with our pups. After our meet/greet, I could immediately tell that Dan was going to be so great with Stoney and Ziggy — and they were immediately drawn to him. We went on a 10-day trip, and I didn’t worry once about them. We received tons of pictures, and I’m pretty sure they didn’t want to leave once we got home!! They had a blast, and were loved on the entire time. Thank you so much, Dan & Liz! ♥️

Ace absolutely loved Dan! He was awesome from start to finish. As soon as we arrived he could tell that Ace was a little shy being that he was in an unfamiliar place, so he sat on the ground and my pup went crazy and got super excited. He didn’t even notice me as I was leaving. He kept me updated with pics the entire time of him and Ace on the bed playing, relaxing, or outside enjoying the sun. All of this gave me peace of mind while I was out of town. I picked Ace up, but forgot his bowls at Dan’s house…we agreed that they would stay there to use for when Ace comes to stay next time.
