About: I am passionate about keeping my own dog well cared for and in great shape (she gets walked twice a day and we frequently go on long distance hikes together!) and would love to help do the same for your pet. I also know how anxious it often makes my wife and I feel when we have to leave our dog alone at home for extended periods, so if you've ever felt that way yourself and would like to have someone come and visit/check in on them or need a place to board them, I'm there for you! My full-time job is seasonal so for the summer my schedule during the week is quite open for you! Starting in mid-August I'll be available afternoons and evenings for you and your pet! I am happy to play with your dog inside or outside depending on your/their preference, and I can easily match their energy level. I'll administer any treats or food needed per your instructions and make sure your dog feels at ease (and hopefully a little more tired!) when I leave for the day.

“We had Lexy do drop ins to give medicine to our pet duck. She did such a great job- giving medicine to a sick duck is not an easy task! Lexy was great at communicating and made sure our girl got the care she needed. I’d absolutely recommend her to provide care (even to unusual pets)!”

“Madison has been great with all 4 of our cats (2 groups still learning to coexist in the same house). She is prompt, trustworthy, follows directions, and our cats love to see her every time!”

“This is our second time with Erica. She goes above and beyond with our cat at every visit. We get tons of pictures and videos. Our cat loves her so much. We were out of the state and the weather was very bad in Pittsburgh. Erica made sure our cat was warm, fed, and safe. We had peace of mind on our trip and that is invaluable. We will continue to use her every time we need a pet sitter.”

“My cat Sophia was once again in very good hands with Katrena! She is very considerate of my home and Sophia's needs. Highly recommend Katrena for your pet sitting needs!”

“Kristi is amazing with my sweet, older dog. She is very reliable and treats the pets she cares for as her own. I feel very at ease knowing with Kristi there. I will definitely use her again. She is truly fantastic!”

“Did a great job, handled both of my animals very well. Kept up with medications and eased Panthers anxiety. Went above and beyond.”

About: I have been around dogs since I was a baby. My current dogs have PTSD, meaning I understand how to handle special needs pets. I would love to care for your pets. I have no job, meaning I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. Even though i’m unable to keep them at my own house, I am fully willing to watch them at yours. My own pets don’t particularly enjoy visitors. My two dogs have post traumatic stress disorder. They came from a bad place, and ever since I adopted them, I have been rehabilitating them. Many pets take patience and love to come out of their shells. Years later, my dogs are feeling a lot better, even if they’re still scared of loud noises.

About: I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for one summer, and also groomed dogs while I was there. I have taken care of neighbors and family pets for as long as I can remember. I have cared for older dogs, as well as puppies, and have administered medications for dogs before. I have my own dog and have worked with numerous others, so I am not afraid to be bit a few times. I have minimal cat care experience, but I am up for the challenge and am eager to learn more. I am currently a recent graduate from Penn State University in Security and Risk Analysis and am still looking for a full time job so my schedule is extremely flexible. I would follow the instructions given by the owner and ensure that any pet I take care of receives the best care possible. I would care for your pet like I care about my own, giving it all the love and attention it deserves. I am currently renting so I could not bring pets to my home.

“Patti is such a sweet person and she took great care of my cat, Ella, over a long weekend. She is thorough, dependable and is great at communicating. I look forward to booking her in the future!”

About: I have been petsitting since I was in 7th grade (for walkable neighbors until I could drive!). I have experience taking care of and giving medication to young and old dogs and cats (pills and ear/eyedrops). I’ve walked the most stubborn senior dogs and the most rambunctious young dogs. I have an especially good way with cats but I’ve mostly sat dogs in the past, so I have plenty of experience with both. And while I hope I don’t need to demonstrate this skill petsitting for you, I have done quite a few (successful!) flea baths on kittens, cats, and dogs. I’m a vegetarian of 5 years and animals have always been my favorite thing about life. I am on summer break from college until the last week of August and I only work Mon-Fri from 8am-12pm, so I have almost my entire day and weekends to spend time petsitting. I am able to come by your house however many times a day you see fit, and I always love to just hang out with your pets for a little while to keep them company while you are gone! I am willing to do walks, baths, or just chill out depending on what your pet and your schedule is usually like. Since my other job is done so early in the day, I am able to stop by as often as you’d like.
