About: I have taken care of pets since I was a kid. My partner and I have 2 young, high energy dogs as well as 3 cats. Gus is a 2 year old Golden Retriever and Pennie is a 3.5 year old English Shepherd. Cats are ages 10, 6, and 5. I am not a dog trainer, but I have attended training classes at Tails-a-waggin as an owner with my 2 dogs and I am comfortable using positive reinforcement techniques with dogs. I work remotely out of Ferndale. I have the ability to work from your home or I can stop by on my breaks (timing can be flexible). I have an hour lunch break so plenty of time for a walk or potty break if you live near by. I will be very diligent about the safety of your pets. I have a lot of experience making sure pets are contained in their home or yard. I do not allow on leash greetings with other pets or people when on a walk for your pets safety. I have reliable transportation just in case a pet may need to be transported to the vet.

“Mika came over and spent an hour with the dogs in the middle of the day and it was such a big help! She plays with them, took them on a walk and I feel completely comfortable with them in her care.”

“Maddy is great with our kitties. Even our usually shy boy went right to her when she arrived! Maddy is super conscientious and we look forward to her watching our kitties again!”
