About: I am experienced in administering medicinal injections, nail trimming and teeth brushing of larger breeds, lifting 60+ lbs, pad and potty training, and assisting senior and special needs dogs. I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.

About: I’ve been around any and all types of dogs since a young age. I am a future physical therapist assistant who is dependable, skilled in safety, and fun! My schedule is currently flexible between ending my school program and taking my licensure exam. I am a caretaker through and through and am eager to spread some of that love to dogs. Spending a summer with animals and outside is a dream! I am keen to follow instructions precisely, ask questions, and when in doubt, always go for the safest route. My priorities are always safety and comfort ability in regards to humans AND animals!
About: I grew up with lots of animals and have been helped people with there animals and know how to take care and stay on schedule I mostly work afternoons which are typically 8 hour shifts. I can wake up early, and also stop by late at night. I usually am not busy in the morning or on weekends. It was hard to leave our dog as the 4th of July weekend is scary for her with the fireworks and she’s getting more nervous as she gets older, but when we got home we could tell Mark took great care of her (as always.) She wasn’t stressed at all and he took care of our house…mail, etc. as well. We love having Mark take care of Cookie as we don’t have to worry about her at all when we are away.
I have unfortunately had inconsistent experiences using Rover in the past and was hesitant in trying to find a dog sitter for a week long trip through Rover. Jacob however was great to work with and incredibly diligent and timely with my older (particular) dog. I cannot recommend him enough! His calm demeanor immediately put my pup at ease and he made sure to accomidate some specific needs (visits before I left, specific food needs and timely bathroom breaks) to keep my dog comfortable and happy. He communicated effectively before, during and after the trip, which is always greatly appreciated. I'll most definitely be requesting Jacob for any and all future trips.
