I am a student, so I have a lot of free time to spend with your fluffers! I can take your pet on day walks or keep them company while you're out of town.

I am a loving caretaker of all animals. Expect snakes, we just don't understand each other. I typically require a visit to introduce myself to your pet while you're there. That way you can witness us becoming best friends.
Information Michael L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is friendly to people and other dogs. Any specific aggressors? Is your pet allergic to anything? Is it safe for them to undergo strenuous exercise? Any recent injuries?
A typical day
I am a very active person. I look forward to racing your dog down the block (as long as it's not busy). We will play fun games of fetch, and explore the parks in my neighborhood.

Pet care experience
I am currently a 5th year PhD student studying Neuroscience at Loyola University Chicago. I’ve had at least one dog in my household my entire life. When I was 12, my family adopted another dog and I fully trained her. To this day, of the 5 dogs we’ve cared for, she is most obedient. I have a lot of experience with puppies as well as senior dogs. Three years ago, I adopted a 10 year old dog that was rescued from the dog-meat trade in China, she is living her best life now. My first pet was a 125lb Akita and the one I trained is under 50lbs. I am very comfortable with all types and sizes of dogs. Recently, my good friend rescued a cat and showed me how to play with them, pet them, slowly blink at them, and now every cat I’ve come across loves me. I work full-time on a very flexible schedule. So long as I can get my work done each day, I can bend my hours. This way I can plan work around caring for your pets. I live in an apartment complex and therefore take my dog for slow short walks everyday as she is arthritic and cannot walk very well. I would be thrilled to go on longer walks at a brisk or normal pace with your doggos. I live in the parking lot across from Doc Ryan’s Bar. I’m not hard to reach or find.
Reviews

Michael was great! He took wonderful care of my fur babies and my home! I appreciated that he was also willing to watch my babies a couple of extra days due to weather related travel issues! I will book with Michael again!
Mikey has been phenomenal with my dogs! He’s carrying and my dogs love him! I am a repeated customer and will always count on him when I am away! Thanks Mikey!

Michael was great once again with our 3 pups! The house was nice and clean and poop picked up in the back yard.

Michael was great with our 3 dogs! We have one that is super scared of other humans and she warmed up to him during his stay. We also came home to a clean house which is always a good feeling when you’re gone for a week.
