About: Bonafide Animal Lover! I grew up on a farm caring for many different animals & have always had either cats and/or dogs in my adult life. Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. My pets are part of my family & I will provide the same level of care to your pets as well! I am a semi-retired remote bookkeeper and empty nester therefore I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to do drop in visits, walking or boarding. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.

I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds and sizes of animals since a very young age, I love spending my time outdoors all year round no matter the weather! I’ve always had a passion for not just dogs but all types of animals and will continue to always believe animals are better than people.🤍 I’m currently home full time Monday through Sunday (with the exception of appointments, shopping, etc.) and am available from morning to night and even overnight stays!
