“My first time using Rover. Have a Corgi and Havanese and needed someone to let them out once a day during the work week, a reoccurring schedule.Andrew responded quickly to set up a meet and greet. MEET & GREET - The Havanese is more hesitant and nervous. As soon as Andrew came through the door she was right there at his legs. We went outside with the dogs where we spoke about Rover and he interacted with both dogs. They were surrounding and running around for him to play. We eventually came back inside. We sat in family room and both dogs were still wanting to play with him. The Havanese was on his lap and ready to give kisses. ONE WEEK of SERVICE - more than I expected. Andrew always on time, fed them, always commented on what ladies did during potty break, cleaned up after them and he played with them. He calls them furry tornadoes. I laugh as they are busy bodies. I am VERY happy with my experiences with Andrew. I feel fortunate to have him for the ongoing weekly occurrences.”

About: I walk 10,000 steps a day and would love to walk your dog the extra mile. I've taken care of pets my whole life and love to volunteer in local shelters. I can teach your dog a few tricks, get all their zoomies out with a nice run, and give them all the frisbee, ball, tug of war, hide and seek, etc. playtime that they might want. I can also provide extra care to older, post surgery, and/or disabled pets. I also have experience with birds, turtles, mice, frogs, and fish. I'm currently self employed as a small business owner and mostly working from home. My schedule is very flexible and I always make time for long walks anyway so pet walks fit well into my routine of things. I always make sure the pets have food and a fresh bowl of water. After that I like to build some trust with sniffs and treats, see if they know any tricks. Once the pet is comfortable it's time for a walk and/or playtime to get all the pent up energy out. I think playtime is the most happy time for pets so I always to engage in a few different kinds of games until I find one that they love. This way the pets are happy and comfortable and can happily nap for the rest of the day after we are done.

About: I will treat your pet not only as my own, but give it that same respect as I would any human. I have pet sat over night, during the day, and just for a few hours and I loved every minute of it. I’m very responsible and always go over and beyond when taking care of animals, because they are more than just animals they are family. I have had two dogs in my lifetime and cared for them and gave them so much love until they sadly passed away a few years ago. I now have a cute little Terrier mix dog named Lavender! I often watch my cousins dog whenever they go out of town and my friends cat. Hopefully you will give me the chance to shower your pet with lots of love!!!! I am currently in graduate school, so my schedule is flexable enough to give your pet all the love and attention it needs and wants!! I have a big open field next to my building where I take my dog out 3-4 times a day to run around and play!!

I grew up around larger dogs (black lab, English shepherd, labradoodle) but am comfortable with pups of all sizes. I frequently dog sit for a few of my friends who have medium/large dogs and I’ve also watched over birds, rodents, and reptiles. About: From a young age, I became the main caretaker in our home for our dogs due to my lifelong love for animals, and warm caretaking skills. I was responsible for training and walking with our dogs (multiple at a time), feeding, medication administration, and physical therapy for my dog with arthritis. I have a deep respect for non-human animals and that is reflected through the way I treat them and live my life. I work from home on my own schedule, so my availability is very open. At times I need to leave home to teach yoga classes or run errands, but can easily work with a pet parent's schedule. With immense love and thoughtfulness, I ensure the safety and happiness of any animal under my care. My home is free of children and pets, and I ensure that food is kept in cabinets and plants that are harmful to pets are kept out of reach. My home is small, so it is easy for me to constantly keep an eye on your pet. I also have a walk-out porch so we can easily go outside at any time. My apartment neighborhood has a beautiful nature path where we can take multiple walks throughout the day. I personally go on daily walks despite the weather, so I am prepared to walk with your dog as much as they like and is healthy for them.

About: About me, I am a canine rescue director and have been for the past couple of decades. I thoroughly enjoy working with dogs and am a trainer. My personal dog is extremely well socialized and enjoys welcoming another dog. Dogs are never allowed to potty outside unattended and I work from home.
