“David was friendly, reliable, and very warm and affectionate with our dog Oscar. He clearly enjoys animals, and Oscar seems to have had a really good time on his drop-in. We'd recommend David and would love to book again in the future. :)”

“Simply put, Patty is top notch!!! She is most definitely a animal lover. She took the time to come meet our boys the day before. During here drop in visits, she sent pics and videos of the boys playing and relaxing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND using PATTY V.”

About: As a professional dog bather, I spend my days ensuring dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments feel clean, comfortable, and safe. My daily work gives me hands-on experience handling different coat types, reading canine body language, and keeping pets calm during routine care. At home, I’m a proud pet parent to two rescue-level personality powerhouses—a high-energy Black Lab and a strong, affectionate Cane Corso/American Bully mix. Living with and caring for both friendly, active pups and powerful, large breeds means I am entirely comfortable managing dogs of any strength, energy level, or size. Whether your dog needs an engaging, controlled walk or attentive in-home sitting, I bring professional handling skills, deep patience, and genuine love to every pet I care for. As a professional dog bather, my daily work centers on reading animal body language, handling pets of all sizes, and creating a calm, safe environment for every animal in my care. My life at home is just as pet-focused: I manage a vibrant household with two large, energetic dogs—a Black Lab and a Cane Corso/American Bully mix—and five cats. Living with five felines and two powerful dog breeds gives me hands-on, daily experience with everything from high-energy walks and large-breed handling to subtle cat behavior, multi-pet routines, and meticulous home safety. Whether your pets need an active, controlled walk or attentive, low-stress in-home sitting, I bring professional handling skills, deep patience, and true everyday multi-pet experience to every visit. Care in My Home (Apartment Living) Structured Outdoor Time & Frequent Breaks: Living in an apartment means outdoor time is always active and intentional. I take dogs out frequently throughout the day for structured, leash-guided walks and bathroom breaks to keep them exercised, happy, and comfortable. Crate-Trained & Calming Environment: As a multi-pet owner (including a Black Lab and a Cane Corso/Bully mix), my home is built on clear routines and safety. My own dogs are well-trained and crate-trained. Crate training allows for safe, stress-free boundaries, individualized downtime, and secure separation whenever needed (e.g., during feeding times or quiet rest). Indoor Enrichment & Constant Supervision: Because apartment space is defined, pets in my care receive close, direct supervision, interactive indoor play, and dedicated individual attention rather than being left unattended in a yard. Maintaining Familiar Routines: I strictly mirror your established feeding, walking, and medication schedules so your pets feel completely secure in their familiar environment. Low-Stress Handling & Body Language Expertise: Drawing on my professional bathing background, I monitor pets for subtle signs of stress or discomfort, ensuring low-stress interactions—whether that means gentle companionship for sensitive cats or structured leash control for energetic dogs. Multi-Pet Home Management: I am thoroughly experienced in managing multi-pet households safely, keeping dogs and cats on their respective feeding and play routines while ensuring entryways and doors remain strictly secure. Cleanliness & Respect for Your Space: I leave your home exactly as I found it—handling litter box maintenance, wiping muddy paws after walks, cleaning feeding areas, and keeping your pets safe and comfortable while you're away.
“Abigail was wonderful! She came to our house twice a day to take care of our dogs. We have a Labradoodle and a Lab. They are both high energy big dogs. She took them for walks every morning and spent pool time with them in the evening. They loved her and we are so grateful that she was able to help us out! This was our first time trying Rover and we highly recommend Abi!”

About: I've taken care of a variety of animals from birds, cats, and dogs. I like to send pictures and spend quality time with the animals. I'm currently off work for the summer and have availability to check in multiple times on your pet! I will treat them as my own. I have a fenced in backyard, doggy door in one of my rooms, I can easily let pets in and out of my slider door.
“Vanessa is outstanding! She’s exactly what I was looking for in a Rover: consistent, kind to my pups, reliable and great communication. She did daily drop in for my pup for a week; her photos are great and updates were in tune with my pups personalities and dynamics. She spend time playing with them. I will definitely be using Vanessa again and recommend her :)”

About: I have always had a dog or multiple while growing up. I was always the kid that would ask to pet peoples dogs (still do) I have dog sat before for my neighbor and anytime the dogs saw me they always ran right to me. Dogs specifically always come up to me or are attracted to me. I have never had a bad experience with a dog and even if I did I would probably still try to make it my friend! Most days I am completely free except Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:10-11:25 then I have a night class from 6:10-8:00 I have always been an animal person and love every animal I meet. Before we moved to our new house my dog slept in my bed with me and had a bed of his own that he would occasionally lay in. My dog was always with me on the couch or really anywhere I went. Anytime I am at a friends house or anyone’s house who has I dog I always treat their pet like it’s my own.
“Arianna was a great communicator and did an amazing job with our two cats! She shared not only photos but videos with us and kept us up to date with how they were doing. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“Diana was so great with my senior husky. I had a short notice request to drop in and check on my husky while I was going to out for the day. It was a great comfort knowing Cali was in caring and experienced hands. Diana also sent great updates and I’d highly recommend her to care for anyone’s fur babies.”

About: As growing up, I had many types of pet bunny’s, dogs, cats, fishes! I loved every single one of them. My favorite moments of my life. I have a soft spot for dachshunds but I’m comfortable with all breads, puppies, and seniors animals! I can handle feeding schedules and lots of belly rubs. :) I’m currently working part time, so I have a flexible schedule. I’m available for boarding on weekdays and weekends for walks in/drops in! I love to spend my extra time with animals! I believe I am a trustworthy person! I love helping and taking care of people. I used to babysit in my free time, and I’m currently majoring in child life specialist. I want to be more out going in learning how to help more people in needs! :)
“This was our fist time using Rover, and I didn’t really know what to expect, but Brittany went above and beyond when taking care of our pets. Every day she visited, she truly spent quality time with our pets, making the most of her visit and being sure to leave a special note on how they were doing and send us lots of pictures. I am so appreciate of her kindness and love for animals. Thank you so much Brittany! 😊”

About: I have been a dog mom most of my life. More recently I’ve worked with a rescue and have experience fostering dogs . All 3 of my dogs are rescues and they are all very different so I’ve learned that they all their own individualized plan I currently work full time so I am available most weekends for boarding. Sometimes I’m off over the summer so my availability opens up then I have a really big fenced yard and a cozy pet friendly home. I have 3 small dogs who I love very much. My heeler mix is a bit fear aggressive towards new people and large dogs but he is obedient and I am working on socializing him more and I know exactly to manage. I’ve fostered a variety of dogs the last year and he just needs time to warm up to new dogs and people. My other 2 are terrier mixes and have been socialized since they were pups.
About: I have worked with veterinarians. I have studied multiple breeds and trained multiple dogs. I have knowledge of cats, dogs and rain that comes with them. I have had multiple dogs boarding and know who not to let play together. I realize all dogs don’t have to get along and some dogs needs space but love and respect their boundaries and needs. I have an extensive backyard for play and training basic commands. I am working full-time during the week but able to board on weekends. I can board during week as long as it’s understood I am only come home during my lunch hour to play a quick game of fetch and let dogs go potty. I have a giant fenced yard. I two cats one will try to meet dogs and play the other likes to hide from life. I have a dog that likes to meet new friends. Your dogs will be included with respect to their boundaries and needs. If they do not like other dogs I have a garage that is air conditioned and part of the house but I can close the door to create comfort for dogs that need some space.
About: Hi my name is Madison. I am a student at Fresno State majoring in Psychology. I plan to receive my bachelors degree in May. I have been pet sitting for 3 years and would love to help you be worry free knowing you left your pet in safe hands. I have open availability so I have plenty of time to help you care for your pets as you are out of town or whatever it may be! I will help keep your pets safe and healthy while they are in my care. I will make sure they get food and water and are able to go to the bathroom as often as needed.
About: Hi there, my name’s Sarah! I’m a part-time Rover sitter and full-time dog lover! I have two dogs of my own and have fostered over 15 dogs of all ages/breeds/backgrounds. I understand the importance of respecting each dog as an individual with their own specific needs and preferences. I promise to take the time to get to know your pups in order to give them a personalized experience and spoil them with love while you’re away! Thanks for taking the time to review my profile to see if I could be a good fit for your fur baby! Here’s a quick overview of the services I can provide: Walks/Drop-Ins - Let me take some stress off you by giving your fur baby a break/exercise while you’re at work or just unable to do so yourself! I’ll be sure to enrich your pet’s day with engagement and my undivided attention, and will ensure your pet’s safety the entire time. Boarding – This is where your pup comes to my home for a vacation of their own while you’re away! You’re more than welcome to stop by for a visit beforehand to see where your pup will be staying, get to know myself and my husband, and introduce your pup(s) to mine! We have two dogs – Stella is a 7-year-old chocolate lab mix and Aspen is a 4-year-old amstaff mix (scroll to the bottom of my profile to check them both out). They’re both easy going and love making new friends! We live on 2 acres, part of which is a wetland that your pup can explore! Although our yard is not fenced at the moment, our house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, and we have multiple 100ft long leashes that we can use for extra safety if your pup likes to wander (although we will always be outside when the pups are outside). Since my husband and I both work from home, we can provide frequent potty breaks and regular walks. In order to not burn out our dogs and our house, we just ask that your pups are house-trained, dog-friendly, and do not have any major destructive traits (we understand accidents happen 😊). Please send your pup with any supplies they may need (food, bed, favorite toys, crate if they use one, a clothing item with your smell, etc.). For these types of bookings, I can either pick up your dog from your house and drop them back off on the last day, or you can drop them off at my house – whatever is easier for you! Sitting – This is where I watch your pup in your home where they are already comfortable! The standard sitting involves me staying in your home overnight and basically standing in for you while you’re gone. I can adapt to your pup’s schedule and routines whether that’s breakfast under the kitchen table or an evening cuddle session on the couch! I will bring my work with me during the week and will bring my own food (no need to stock your pantry/fridge). I’ll be self-sufficient while also keeping up with your house – let me know if I’ll be staying on trash day and can put your bins out or if you’d like me to bring in your mail so it doesn’t pile up in the mailbox! This type of booking is great for families with a space for me to stay and pups who love being homebodies! Some more notes: I’m a “dogs allowed anywhere” person so if your pup is staying in our home, they’re welcome on the couch and bed! If you have a different standard for your pups, especially if I’m staying in your home, please let me know so I can keep up with your routine and training! Pet photography is a passion of mine so you can trust your pup will have their own personal photo shoot (if they’re up for it) and you’ll get all the good pics!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Farmersville. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 89% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
