About: I’m a passionate veterinary technician dedicated to providing the best quality care for your babies regardless of breed or species. 🩷 I have plenty years of experience and am confident in the care I can provide to keep your pets safe and comfortable. If needed, I will also administer medications of any route and can offer additional services such as nail trims, baths, etc. I look forward to helping you! I’m currently working full time Monday-Friday but I’m able to drop in during lunch hours for feeding/potty times. Weekends are much more flexible and we can always discuss what’s needed! I have a fenced yard that is maintained weekly, as well as 3 small dogs that are up to date with vaccines who would be happy to keep your pet company! If needed, pets can be kept separate at your request or depending on behavior.
About: Our three senior dogs have recently passed away and we are looking to share our love for animals by offering pet services to the Tulare area. We have taken care of high-maintenance small/medium sized dogs with health issues for 15+ years. We are also familiar with giving medication and injections. We are currently working full-time Monday through Friday, but we have the ability to come home for potty breaks or medication every 2-4 hours if needed for your pet. We have a fenced-in backyard with a pool that is also fenced-in, so your pups will be secure. We have doggy gates throughout our house to block your little furry babies from roaming into certain areas or to keep away from other pets that may be present. We currently do not have any indoor pets.
About: I don’t just watch pets, I build trust with them. By learning their routines and personalities, I create a calm, familiar experience that keeps them happy, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. I plan my weekly schedule around the pets in my care to ensure I can meet their specific needs—whether that’s regular walks, medication timing, feeding routines, or extra attention. I keep a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and owners can rely on dependable care. At this time, I offer pet care exclusively in my client’s home. While I’m not able to host pets in my own space, I’ve found that staying in their home keeps them more relaxed and comfortable. I stick closely to their usual routine, meals, walks, playtime, and any special care so they feel safe and well cared for while you’re gone.
About: I’ve always had a family pet, got my own dog at the age of 13 and he’s my best friend! I would only provide care to others furry friends as I’d expect for mine I only work part time during the weekend, available in the afternoons and weekends! Potty breaks and fun time outside galor! Maybe even some owner approved treats.. I have a medium sized, fully fenced yard. Does have one side gait that is locked closed. I also have a outdoor area if outdoor boarding is needed
About: Hi I'm Lizzy! I'm an animal lover with years of experience in the animal field. I'm able to administer medication, vaccines, etc. I'm buying a home with my partner and started up my sitter profile as a way to make a little extra money. I have 3 years of formal dog training experience and absolutely love all dog breeds. I find small details to be extremely important so when you're booking me please include valuable information such as your dogs bathroom habits, if we should be walking slowly, if they are dog aggressive, cat aggressive, etc. Thank you for reading! If you have any questions feel free to ask. I respond rather quickly! I have a stable work schedule and I'm unavailable from 8AM-5PM. I'm willing to do drop-in visits at 6AM (before work) or, any time after 5:00PM I have a fenced yard with an ground tie out for potty breaks or play time. I own several Harness and collar/leash sets and have tons and tons of toys!
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for my family members for two years. I rented a house and the owner left his two Great Pyrenees to be in my care for the amount of time I lived there. I have a 3 year old pit bull and a 2 year old German Shepherd I love and care for now. I also have a 2 year old kitty that I love. All animals need love time and energy and I adore animals and their unique personalities! I’m currently working a full time job but I do get Friday- Sundays off which allows me to spend a lot of time with my animals but I know a lot of people who work weekends and or want to travel and I am willing to help people with their fur babies while they’re away. With my families, I make sure to establish a relationship first and make your fur baby trust me and enjoy being around me. If I go to your home, I will always ask where their favorite spot it or if you would like to crate them while I leave. I do enjoy walking them and feeding them and giving treats to enforce positive behavior.
“Thank you for everything you did Dorthy! My shy cat Bailey really grew to trust you and I appreciate you being so patient with her. My other more affectionate cat sure appreciated the attention while I was gone. You went the extra mile and I'm grateful for it! I hope our paths cross again!”

About: I’ve taken care of several different breeds of dogs since I was 5yrs old. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to care for their pets while they are away. I love getting to play with them and go on walks. I am always very careful with animals in general and do my best to go above and beyond for them because there is so much that they can’t fully communicate to us. I have always loved animals and am so thankful that I not only get to enjoy my dog but others as wellz I currently work from home and I am home most of the time. I walk my dog in the morning and once in the evening. We play throughout the day in the backyard. I feed, walk, play, brush, cuddle, pet, play, and love your pet like my own. I know how to bathe most dogs as well as use a dryer to dry them.
“Kristina is a great pet sitter! She is amazing with cats and even had our skittish boy coming out to say hello. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitters.”

“Everything went well and most importantly my four larger dogs were happy with her. She did as I requested and sent pictures of her visits which was nice. I really appreciated that she worked with me last minute and was understanding on all aspects of the visit.”
“Carola is amazing! She is incredibly thorough and always makes sure Bubba’s kibble and water bowls are full before she leaves. Bubba has separation anxiety, and she was so patient and gentle with him the entire time. I really appreciated the detailed updates she sent after every visit — they gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Thank you, Carola! I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking again.”

“Diana was so great with my senior husky. I had a short notice request to drop in and check on my husky while I was going to out for the day. It was a great comfort knowing Cali was in caring and experienced hands. Diana also sent great updates and I’d highly recommend her to care for anyone’s fur babies.”

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Tulare. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 89% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
