About: With 1.5 years of professional experience with animals and 15+ years caring for my own pets, I have a long history with animals including dogs, cats, small animals and large barnyard animals! I am currently studying Animal Behavior in college 🎓 I am available most days to do drop in visits, dog walking and house sitting. However, on Mondays and Wednesdays I am only available in the morning due to college With plenty of experience handling fearful, stressed and scared animals at the shelter, I have learned many skills to make them feel more safe and comfortable in my presence, which is very important to me when caring for pets. It has also taught me so much patience and to understand their feelings better than ever.

About: I grew up fostering animals from the Humane Society of Harford County, caring for animals with the range of young puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats. And, yes, I’ve “foster-failed” a few times, and have multiple cats and dogs of my own. A house isn’t a home without a fur baby. I am a middle-school teacher who currently has full availability now that summer vacation has begun. I’d love to fill my time off by caring for your four-legged friends! Fostering animals with a variety of backgrounds, training levels, capabilities, etc., has given me a lot of experience with creating a safe and happy environment.

“I can't say enough great things about Sarah. She is definitely on our top list of dog walkers. She is friendly, on time, and so genuine. She loved our dog and he loved her right back. Sarah took on extra walks to help our family at the last minute. I highly recommend Sarah and am grateful I found her.”

“Julia was PERFECT! She kept me updated when the timing had to slightly change. She was very kind and PATIENT! My dog is a scaredy cat and very anxious and skittish around other dogs and humans and Julia handled it all greatly! I so so appreciated her and hopefully if she’s available I can use her again!”

My home has a fenced in dog park that i’m sure your dog would love to run around in and get some energy out! About: I am an avid dog lover and owner. I have had a dog in my life since I was 11. I’ve owned a lab, a mini-Aussie, an Aussie rescue and a golden retriever. I often pet sit for friends because I just love dogs. My 3 sons are also big dog lovers and enjoy playing with them. I am off during the summer, and if we aren’t on vacation, I am happy bringing dogs wherever we go. I just love dogs During the school year, I’m more limited on time devoted to puppy sitting. Dogs would be uncrated, unless you provide one, for 6-8 hours. However, in the summer, I have more time and flexibility. Dogs stay in our upstairs, have access to water and toys, and can lay on our couch. We feed our golden 2x per day. Dogs also typically sleep in our room and have access to a dog bed. They get lots of love and daily walks .

“Amrita was an amazing sitter. Our two dogs (chocolate lab & chihuahua) can be a handful, and she took great care of them during her drop-in. She followed all dog and house requests, was punctual, and communicated with us the entire time. We look forward to her watching our boys overnight in a few weeks.”

I currently have 3 cats in my house. We love them and take good care of them.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and have always loved animals. I have house sat and dog sat before and always treat other people’s animals like my own. I’m a registered nurse so I am patient, conscientious, and reliable. I’m a registered nurse and work 3-12hr night shifts a week. I usually have free time during the day on weekdays when most people are at work. I’m also comfortable with pet care later at night, as I stay up late. Early mornings are not usually good for me unless I am coming home from working overnight. I always make sure to treat other people’s pets and homes with respect. I treat all animal’s like they are my own pet. I love spending time with them. I make sure not to give them anything that they shouldn’t eat and to keep anything potentially dangerous completely put away where it can’t accidentally be reached by an animal.

Fallston dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah and Amanda are phenomenal. This was our first time using dog walking services and (like any other pet parent) we were nervous! Our meet and greet was professional and they quickly got to know our dog! Rommel has particular needs when walked and they adhere to them diligently. Amanda and Sarah are on time, consistent with Rommel and are careful to manage his (at times) difficult behavior while on walks. This duo knows what they are doing and we know they care and love our pup a whole lot!

Alexis is the best! My dog Bella gets so excited when her friend stops over to spend time with her and take her for her afternoon walk. One afternoon my girl was getting sick on the floor as she was coming in and Alexis went outside of her walking duties and cleaned it up and promptly let me know what had happened. I HIGHLY recommend Alexis to anyone whose furry companion needs a QUALITY walker and friend!
