“Joshua H is great with my dog. She returns happy and more important his brisk walks make her even happier. Joshua is trustworthy, professional and a genuinely kind person.”

About: I have been involved in taking care of dogs since I was a child as we always a had a pet int the family. I addition to that I've been volunteering with a animal welfare organization for 2 years now where I assisted in the transportation of dogs that have traveled long-distances to meet with adoptive families. I am available to walk and care of dogs any opportunity where I am not at work. Work Schedule: Wednesday 4pm to 8pm, Friday 4pm to 8pm, and Saturday 12pm to 6pm. I can care for pets by feeding them, playing with them, walking them, taking them places, and with athletic dogs making sure they get a workout.

“Michael is the best dog walker. He takes excellent care of my dogs. He is always going above and beyond. He will bring packages in, take garbage can in, and alert me if he sees something wrong at my house or is concerned about the dogs. He always gives the dogs a treat before he leaves.”

“Shirley was absolutely wonderful. I was really nervous to leave my dog with a stranger but Shirley was amazing with my dog Maverick, who is a big 70lb pitbull mix. Shirley is great with communicating and sent plenty of pictures every time she walked Maverick which gave me peace of mind. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“We had a great time meeting Greg for our first meet and greet/walk. He even made Pinto feel at ease - and that’s a tough sell. We are looking forward to booking future walks and pet sitting with Greg.”

About: I have had the joy of having 8 amazing fur kids at one point in time. 8 basset hounds/mixed bassets some of which are from a non-profit basset hound rescue that I have been lucky enough to help called tri state basset hound rescue. Loving dogs/animals gives me purpose in life. I love being able to experience their many different personalities, provide them with fun/good health/love. And I'm always trying to learn new ways to help them through any and all stages of their lives/health. I have had/have males and females. And my experience with dog health is that I have dealt with food intolerances/special diets, a heart defect, cancer, loss of vision, administering medications and aftercare from surgeries due to spaying and also mass removal. I bath and groom my own dogs which means I brush their teeth and trim nails weekly. And one of my favorite hobbies that I can share with them is making them easy special healthy treats. I personally also enjoy living a healthy lifestyle so i stay physically active/workout daily and eat a very well balanced diet. I do the same for my fuzz kids! I am a part time pet sitter/walker because i like to make sure im giving my fuzz family the proper time and attention they need aswell as taking donations to various dog rescues in pa/ny/ct and spreading the word on socials about many rescues across the whole country in need of help. I like to stick to routine. In my home and any pet parents home i go to. So if their is specific needs then i make sure they are met exactly how they would be if it were the pet parents providing care. I love to make sure each indiviual dog has their own special needs met too. So if a dog enjoys just calm cuddles then im the best snuggle buddy ever or if your pup has alot of energy then we can play games, run around or go for lengthy walk, ect.

“Sharon is awesome! I’m so happy we found her to take care of our new puppy. She comes to take him out and play with him during the day so he isn’t alone all day. Felt super comfortable with her right out of the gate and know my puppy Finn is in good hands!”

About: Animals have been a cherished and joyous part of my life since childhood. In the past I worked with rescue organizations and cynological societies. Now, I have two wonderful Scottish Terriers and five (yes, 5) rescue cats. I also have experience with puppies, even newborns, as I am a registered AKC breeder. With all my personal pet experience as well my past with fostering, I am no stranger to the personalities and quirks of each individual animal. It is easy for me to adapt to their daily regimens, provide transport, and administer medications. I am available for drop-ins and dog-walking all weekdays from 9am-3pm. I currently work an afternoon childcare job, but I would happily make my mornings free to help take care of your pets. I can also stop by or do a walk in the evenings after 7pm. I would take care of your pets as if they were my own. Never leave a door open longer than it should be, no walking without a leash, nothing toxic kept in the house, pantries and bathrooms kept closed. Follow the rules of your home to keep your pet safe and comfortable when in my care.

About: I have 3 kids 7,4, and 2. Recently we started babysitting a Great Dane. The owner works alot and really just wanted me to walk him a few times a day but it became so much more. I have literally fallen in love with my boy. My kids enjoy his company so much that i have decided to expand my love for dogs. I’m offering daycare during the day if it is just needed for work hours, or even just for your fur baby to get out of the house a few times a day. I am also offering trips to and from the vet for owners that can’t get appts after work hours. I have a ford explorer that can fit any size dog. I would expect the dog to be up to date on shots and spade or neutered. If not i can set up a time when it would be just one on one care. I would also like their food to be included and any allergies be included. My prices will be extremely fair. I enjoy this so much that getting paid for it is an added bonus. The dog will need to get along with other dogs too. If they don’t i can also do a 1 on 1 visit. I have 3 kids. My oldest 2 boys are in school full time. My 2 year old is home with me during the day. I started walking my neighbors dog and i have fallen in love with him. He is over 200lbs. I am able to handle him and i know i will be able to love and handle any dog that is smaller than him. I take him too petsmart, to the dog park and he receives so much love. I know i can provide this love for other dogs too. The dog i walk is not neutered so i would also be willing to take care of a dog that is not neutered or spades. I would have it be a one on one with a dog that is not fixed. I would take care of your pet just like i take care of my children. They would be loved and spoiled. They would receive so much line between myself and my children. We will go to the park and have lots of toys to play with

Not only did Lisa take a through inventory of everything needed to effectively care for Rudy, she chatted with us ahead of time to find out his temperament and when she arrived brought a fresh treat from the dog bakery in Newtown! I could tell after we returned from our weekends trip to Sleepy Hollow NY that Rudy was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. We were so impressed!”

When I get home from a trip, he’s not as anxious. He also squeals with happiness when she comes through the door. It’s so sweet, and it’s such a relief to know that he’s so comfortable with her. I highly recommend Cat for your fur child :)”
