About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was about 8 years old with my own labs! This extended into caring for family, family friends and eventually neighbors and the occasional stranger’s dogs as I got older. Care has included walking, feeding, administering oral medication, bathing, and plenty of play and cuddle time. I’ve even worked in a doggy daycare previously! I’m comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. I am a current Master’s student commuting to UW-Stout Tuesdays-Thursdays, and work part time at a childcare facility on Mondays and Fridays. I would be available for a variety of afternoon or evening walks, potty breaks, or mealtimes! I would also be available on weekends for more in-depth care, stays and adventures. I live in an apartment that allows dogs, and am close to a variety of outdoor walking trails. Play time and cuddles are a free for all, but I tend to have specific areas for eating and sleeping for my dog. I am however comfortable with dogs on furniture, crating, or anything in between!

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.

About: Hi there! My name is Michelle and Ive been a pet owner since I was a child. My family always had dogs, cats, pocket pets, and the occasional tarantula. Im the niece of a large animal veterinarian whose clinic I volunteered at after school and summers. Currently my husband and I are owned by a Labrador Retriever and an English Setter. We are active with a national English Setter rescue, which is where our beautiful boy came from, and run volunteer transports of dogs on their way to foster or forever homes. *** Due to personal reasons, for House Sitting bookings I sleep at my own home. I will arrange my arrival and departure times at your home, to whatever your preferences are. I usually arrive around 6am and leave between 9 and 10pm, but thats variable based on your pet's routine.*** Im semi-retired! My routine is whatever it needs to be from day to day. Im a firm believer in being flexible to meet the situation's needs. Each pet is different. Some are couch potatoes, some want to hike the Alps, but all need mental stimulation and tons of hugs. Playtime, walks, treats and any other interactions you, as the expert on your pet, request of me, are part of the services I offer.

About: I love dogs and have two of my own - a little man named Sid and big golden named Ruby. Everyone in my family has a dog as well so I am very used to being around pets. I am an active person and would love to walk, run with, or care for your dog! I work 2 days a week and I am flexible on weekends, so just let me know what you're thinking! We have two kids at home, 3 and under, so must be okay with sweet kiddos. I live in home with a big fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs. I have a small dog and large dog who get along very well with other dogs. They get super playful around other dogs, so your dog would surely have a fun time and get all his/her energy out! I am working part-time and home with my babies the other days, allowing a lot of flexibility with caring for your pet. We have some occasional things planned for weekends but are otherwise pretty open! I have a fenced in, nice yard for dogs to play and run in. We live in a great walking neighborhood. We have two dogs to keep your fur baby company as well as two young children. Animals must be kid-friendly for our home!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since childhood. I personally have had large dogs and small dogs so I have experience with all sizes. I very much enjoy walking dogs, so if this is something you need, I offer this service as well. I currently work as a full time teacher. I’m available 6-7:00 to check in your dogs, feed and water and then at 4 pm til 9 in the evenings. Depending on how far you are from my job I can possibly pop in during the day to check in your dog. Your pet is welcome in my home and will be part of my animal family, they are welcome on the couch and they’ll have lots of place to run on my 17 acres place. As long as your dog is house trained they will have the main level to hang out with my dogs while I’m at work. The weekends I’ll around all day and if I’m out and about and the weather is not hot they can come in my car for rides.

About: At any point growing up, we never had less than two dogs, one cat, and one bird (Umbrella Cockatoos). My mother has volunteered at local animal shelters for years while continuing to do so today. Her genuine passion for caring for animals was passed onto my siblings and I from the moment we came home as newborns. Whether it was raising puppies/kittens, or behavior training with rescue pets, I've been around home pet care from a very young age. I've absorbed and learned more independently as I came to having pets of my own. I also worked as a Dog Groomer for a short (but busy) time in college. My wife and I currently have three cats and one dog at our home, so I'm actively involved in everyday pet care. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am - 4:30pm in Eau Claire, so I'm available on the weekends or for afternoon and weeknight visits. I prioritize your pets' needs by maintaining constant attention. I'm not using the time during the visit to play on my phone. About: I've always had dogs in my life. At every stage of my life I've been a dog lover. My current dog was a foster fail and i love to host other pups for a day or a few nights. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I will be available most days whenever needed. I can make arrangements if there is a schedule conflict. I have a fenced in yard. We would go on daily walks in the neighborhood or to the dog park. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and we treat our dogs like family.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have owned guinea pigs, hamsters, geckos, fish, frogs, hedgehogs, chinchillas, rats and lizards. I am able to work with all different types of animals and have worked with both senior dogs and puppies before. I rescued a very sick gecko and brought him back to life by hand feeding and daily baths to heal him. I have also taken care of a sick guinea pig who was very old, until he was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. We can go on walks, eat food, and watch the latest Hulu show together! Your fur baby is welcome to sleep with me, on the floor, or in any bed or crate you bring. My two rescue cats absolutely LOVE other animals, so there is no worry there. They are so curious and eventually become besties! Since I am work from home full time now, so I am extremely flexible and they will have constant attention. I do live in an apartment, BUT, I am right next to the walking trail in River Prairie (the loop). I would be more than happy to go on as many walks as needed, and enjoy some sunshine with your fur baby! So do not worry, they can be outside as much or little as you’d like. I am open to care of all animals, all sizes, and all ages. If wanted, I visit my family farm quite often where we have extensive yard and land to run on. It is 100% an option for me to take your pet there if you want them to have some extra smells, especially if they stay long term with me. I’m extremely flexible and want you to not have to worry! While I traveled full time for work in the past, constant updates on my animals back home was crucial to me. I will provide as much or little communication you’d like. I’m here to meet you and your pet where you’d like and keep being away from them stress free. I promise they are in such caring hands! I work from home most days and go on daily walks myself! I would love to have a companion along with me to help make my place less lonely! During the weekends I can give even extra attention! I have access to the loop walk near River Prairie where i can take your pet for a potty break or for a walk! Depending how far they like to go - I can do the full three miles with them, or cut it shorter! I will be here with them to provide food, water, and care. My family has always had pets growing up, and I’m always the one seeking out the pets at any gathering. I love earning their trust, making them feel comfortable, and making a new furry friend.
