“Wonderful experience, Lacy was happy to be there, daily pictures were great, it’s nice knowing that we can leave and Lacy is well taken care of, will definitely use Elizabeth again”

“Jacob took superb care of my dog during my business trip. I had full confidence Odie was in excellent hands. We returned to find him very happy. I highly recommend Jacob's services.”

“I’m very happy with the services provided to me and my pup! Daily updates, along with pictures and videos eased my worries about leaving my dog while I had to travel for work. I would recommend Madeleine and Anthony for their daycare, and boarding services.”

“I reached out to Carissa on short notice and she took both of my dogs in. One of my dogs is scared of everyone and she didn’t let that stop her. They both came home TIRED! Thank you Carissa! Will be coming to her again!”

“Both my Dogs Neil and Sophie loved Korah. Korah comb their hair daily (including putting a top knot in Sophie hair). Her updates were the best - my dogs were snuggling up to her and playing - gave me peace of mind while on vacation. House was left neat and clean and she even left a treat and a toy for the kids with a lovely thank you card. Very nice job”

“Jennifer took wonderful care of my pup while I was out of town for the weekend. He came back happy and content. She even agreed to a very last minute booking which was so helpful. Would highly recommend!”

“Chris and Shawnda are true dog lovers. They understand dog behavior and we felt 100% confident leaving our dog in their care. Strider was happily exhausted from 3 days of play!”

“Molly is the best! I got a very tired, calm dog back after a night at her place. She sent cute pictures, kept my dog on a schedule, and was flexible when I was late to come pick my pup up. We will absolutely continue to book with Molly!”

“Our pup is turning 3 in June and we had never left her with anyone. We found Kessia and felt an instant connection. She confidently, but gently assured our pup and us that there was nothing to worry about, and her two pups instantly welcomed ours in playful banter. We have no concerns in leaving our pup with Kessia.”

“This was our 1st experience with Rover for our senior goldendoodle. Allyson was great, very welcoming, able to take our pup last minute & kept us updated throughout her brief stay including photos. Much appreciated!”

“Excellent care of our pups. Lovely family, nice fenced in yard. Amanda managed the pups very well, and that included medication for one of the dogs and a puppy. She was excellent!”

“My dog Kylo stayed with Kim and her family for the first time for about a week, and although it’s always a little nerve-wracking leaving him with a new sitter, especially for an extended length of time, Kim was gracious and communicative before and during my trip. She sent photos and even reached out when he had some tummy issues so we could help him feel well again. I’m truly grateful to have found her and will definitely book with her again.”

“This was a last-minute booking and my first time leaving my cat, so I was super nervous. Katie was really reassuring and said she’s worked with nervous cats before, which made me feel a lot better. Plus, she has the sweetest and friendliest cat, which was a big bonus for me!”

“Murphy had a great stay with Natallia! She made new friends and came home tuckered out. Natallia was quick to respond and stayed in touch during Murphy’s stay. Thanks Natallia!”
“Tyler and Caitlyn were great with our golden retriever Sadie. Sadie came home happy and tired. They also sent picture updates while we were gone. We will have them watch Sadie again in the future!”

“Taryn took care of our 3 cats while we were on vacation for a week. She stopped by every day to feed and water them, fed the fish, and watered my houseplants. Very much appreciated her communication and taking care of everyone!”

“Hailey was wonderful! She made sure my sky kitty was fed and taken care of while I was out of town. She’s polite, professional, and does great work. I’d definitely recommend her services!”

“Michelle regularly does check ins and has done a couple overnights for my pup. She arrives on time, takes great care of my dog, communicates, follow instructions, and sends lots of pics. She is incredibly nice and attentive to my pup and also this nervous dog mom lol. I am very selective in who let care for my gentle giant; I trust Michelle completely and know my baby is in amazing hands. She treats my dog like one of her own, his schedule is followed, and he gets to relax at home with lots of love while I am a way. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! We are grateful for her at our house!”

“Emma was amazing and wonderful with my orange-flavored boy. She cuddled and loved on him like he was her own fur baby. I will definitely be asking her to care for Robin again.”

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and a few years ago, I adopted my kitty, Momo. Outside of my home, I occasionally help care for friends’ cats when they travel, which some times includes overnight stays, or some times just 2x a day check ins. I love playing or just chilling with cats. I’m happy to match a cat’s energy and play or not play however it seems to like. Unfortunately, I also have experience with caring for cats at end-of-life, as well as caring for cats experiencing illness. I’ve given antibiotics to my family cats and friends’ cats. My cat Momo is particularly difficult to give medicine to - unfortunately it really stresses him out, so I am very acclimated to cat scratches.
“First time that Amanda has taken care of my rabbits and everyone involved seemed to enjoy it. She was able to help me last min and followed my posted directions. Will contact her again next time I need help.”

My goal is to give you peace of mind and your feline friend a stress-free, positive experience. 🐾

“Chris did great with the dogs! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!! He played fetch with our lab until she got tired (who can play fetch FOREVER... seriously forever). He’s very considerate, informative, and a true dog lover! I can tell he does is absolute best to give the pups the excersize and love they need and deserve!”
“Amanda and her family provided the BEST experience I've ever had on Rover. They didn't only watch her for the day, the took the entire day to dedicate engaging with Pixel and showing her love. All the photos proved that Pixel had the best day ever! The communication was amazing. The care was amazing. And no one will ever beat them when it comes to watching my dog. Do guess, just book with Amanda.”

“Molly was great both with booking and during Kona’s stay. She responded very quickly and sent updates throughout the day. Will definitely be using her services again!”

“Holly seemed to have lots of fun with the other dogs/kitten. She loves to be outside so I'm so glad Maddy takes her on field trips in the country. It was her first day so it took alot to get used to things. Maddy handled well and I had no worries since Maddy checked in during the day.”

“Jacob was great for Charlie. My dog had a lot of anxiety and never met Jacob before but overall I could tell that Charlie was well taken care of and received lots of good support from Jacob. I would definitely use Jacob again.”

About: Hey there! I am an animal lover to the core. Let me be your pet's new best friend while you are away! I recently moved back to the Midwest to be closer to family, about two years ago. I was traveling constantly for work, but am now full time work from home. When I lived in another state for work, I did pet care as a part time job with private clients weekly. I grew to absolutely love it and would love to get established back in Wisconsin. I grew up with dogs, cats, and cows my entire life - being raised on a farm. I am the type of person who can’t stop without petting a dog whenever I see one! Providing companionship to your pet is my favorite thing to do. We can go on walks, eat food, and watch the latest Hulu show together! Your fur baby is welcome to sleep with me, on the floor, or in any bed or crate you bring. My two rescue cats absolutely LOVE other animals, so there is no worry there. They are so curious and eventually become besties! Since I am work from home full time now, so I am extremely flexible and they will have constant attention. I do live in an apartment, BUT, I am right next to the walking trail in River Prairie (the loop). I would be more than happy to go on as many walks as needed, and enjoy some sunshine with your fur baby! So do not worry, they can be outside as much or little as you’d like. I am open to care of all animals, all sizes, and all ages. If wanted, I visit my family farm quite often where we have extensive yard and land to run on. It is 100% an option for me to take your pet there if you want them to have some extra smells, especially if they stay long term with me. I’m extremely flexible and want you to not have to worry! While I traveled full time for work in the past, constant updates on my animals back home was crucial to me. I will provide as much or little communication you’d like. I’m here to meet you and your pet where you’d like and keep being away from them stress free. I promise they are in such caring hands! I work from home most days and go on daily walks myself! I would love to have a companion along with me to help make my place less lonely! During the weekends I can give even extra attention! I have access to the loop walk near River Prairie where i can take your pet for a potty break or for a walk! Depending how far they like to go - I can do the full three miles with them, or cut it shorter! I will be here with them to provide food, water, and care. Your pet will be my number 1 priority while I am with them!

In 2011 I acquired a Veterinary Assisting Diploma from Horizon School of Veterinary Assisting. My schedule is very flexible at the moment, most days I am available. We can talk and figure out what would work best for you and your companion animal. I will respect your animals current routine already in place and follow through with daily care needs as if you would for them in your home.

About: I currently have 2 dogs and 2 long haired cats. Being a registered nurse I have a lot of experience giving medications to humans, but also animals. I have some grooming experience given my cats need for it. I have extensive reactivity training in dogs as one of ours has struggled since she was a puppy. I would love to make your fur-baby feel loved and cared for while you have the peace of mind while on vacation or work. I am currently a registered nurse, so my schedule is very open and I can shift things around as needed to help out! I do not work a straight routine, so have many open spaces. I would gladly watch your animals in your home so they continue to have the comfort of their natural area and no added stress of being somewhere they do not know. I will gladly follow whatever rules or schedule you set up!
“Thank you so much for the through feedback on your walk with our dog! You took so many pics and we felt like he was in great hands with you. Look forward to working with you again!”

About: Hello, my name is Taryn. I’ve had plenty of experience taking care of dogs as I have had dogs my whole life. Since middle school, I have been pet-sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Not only have I had pet sitting experience with dogs, I have taken care of other animals as well. Those animals range from cats, bunnies, fish, and even chickens ! I will be able to provide you and your pets with the services you need! I just graduated from UW-Stout and am currently living in Eau Claire. I work at my main job on weekdays (in Menomonie). My hours vary, but they are usually only 7 hour shifts or less. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays unless I already have another gig booked. I am able to provide your pet with whatever service they need, ranging from making sure they have enough food and water to taking them on walks and providing them with entertainment! I am available for dog walking and drop-ins before 5pm on Mondays, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and after 5pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. As for house-sitting, I am available most days as long as your pet is okay with being alone for a few hours! I attend in-person classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, but would have an hour or two to come back to the house to check in! I currently do not offer doggy day care in my own home, but I will be able to keep your dogs company at their respective homes. I can walk them, feed them, play with them, keep them company, and more!
About: I bring a calm, friendly presence that helps pets feel safe and relaxed while their people are away. I’ve grown up with animals and currently care for a few clients’ pets in Eau Claire — including a 3-week stay with multiple pets. I know how important routines are, and I pride myself on clear communication, clean homes, and happy tails. Whether it’s a quick walk or a full house sit, I’ll follow your instructions to the letter and treat your pets like my own. I’m flexible, detail-oriented, and truly love getting to know each animal’s personality. My goal is always to create a stress-free experience — for both you and your furry family. Pet care can fit seamlessly into my routine. I currently bartend and this allows for more flexibility and available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or house sitting throughout the week — your pet’s needs come first in my day! I have no pets at my home so my casa is your pets casa with no interference. At my 8 plex building there is a much area to run around if they can be off leash otherwise the area is great to walk for potty breaks at anytime. I live in a safe, quiet and less trafficked area which will be great for walks!
“Amanda was amazing! She did great with my big dogs (one being aggressive towards other dogs) and was very communicative. Will definitely be contacting her to help take care of our dogs again!”

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I'm currently working a full time job, however I still have plenty of time to watch your fur babies!! If anything changes I will let you all know ASAP!! I have two very friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if needed, or I can separate my dogs from your dogs if needed. I also have toys for them to play with so they won't get bored.
About: Hi! I’m a senior college student at UWEC! I’ll be updating my schedule frequently throughout the school year, but as of right now I’m available all weekdays and limited weekends. I have experience working with a wide variety of animals, ranging from horses — which I’ve ridden and owned since I was 3 years old — to dogs and cats that I’ve had my whole life. I’m currently on my third German Shepherd puppy at home, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs, puppy care, and animals of all personalities! I love spending time with animals and would love the opportunity to help care for your pets! I currently only plan to work minimal hours a week in Antigo this summer, and I will start that up in June. Until then I’m free most days! Prefer mornings but can making afternoons and evenings work if needed! I’m more than willing to figure out what works for you! I am currently not able to board pups right now! But am happy to come house sit or come check in your animals at your home in setting they’re comfy in!
About: I volunteered at an animal shelter for two and a half years. My family has had many pets and I was always their primary caretaker. Currently, I have had my dog for 8 years and my husband and I recently adopted our cat Buster together. I have also had experience with smaller animals like guinea pigs and rabbits. I am able to walk, bathe, brush, clip claws, feed, exercise, and play with cats and dogs of all ages. I am a teacher so I am available mostly during evenings for drop in visits and walks. During common break times such as Spring Break or summer I would be available for overnight house sitting. Weekends are usually fully open! I am experienced in keeping animals safe and healthy. This includes playing and exercising with them, making sure they get food and water, and cleaning after them.

About: Animals and pets of any kind have held a special place in my heart for most of my life. I have experience dog sitting animals 10- 80 lbs and have cared for as many as 3 at a time. About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Thank you for reading through my short history and I am super excited to update this with my accomplishments to come! Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

I have access to the loop walk near River Prairie where i can take your pet for a potty break or for a walk! Depending how far they like to go - I can do the full three miles with them, or cut it shorter! I will be here with them to provide food, water, and care. Your pet will be my number 1 priority while I am with them!

About: I love dogs and have two of my own - a little man named Sid and big golden named Ruby. Everyone in my family has a dog as well so I am very used to being around pets. I am an active person and would love to walk, run with, or care for your dog! I work 2 days a week and I am flexible on weekends, so just let me know what you're thinking! We have two kids at home, 3 and under, so must be okay with sweet kiddos. I live in home with a big fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs. I have a small dog and large dog who get along very well with other dogs. They get super playful around other dogs, so your dog would surely have a fun time and get all his/her energy out! I am working part-time and home with my babies the other days, allowing a lot of flexibility with caring for your pet. We have some occasional things planned for weekends but are otherwise pretty open! I have a fenced in, nice yard for dogs to play and run in. We live in a great walking neighborhood. We have two dogs to keep your fur baby company as well as two young children. Animals must be kid-friendly for our home!
“Braydon was wonderful. He kept me posted of Ivy's activities. She can be high energy so he took her for walks. He took her to a friend's house so she was able to get some socialization. We will for sure request him again.”

“Was my first time using the app and they made it a great experience! This was Splash’s first time staying overnight at someone else’s house and they eased my mind with updates and pictures. Very accommodating and makes the process easy!”

“Super stoked Alia could take in Vega. I felt confident that she was in good hands. Definitely would use her next time thru Eau Clair. Thanks Alia! - Gave her a 1st class grooming also!”
