About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. In your home, I can assure you that my experience will allow me to provide the best care for your loved ones.

About: I have had and cared for pets my whole life! I took Veterinary Science 1 & 2 at New Horizons and I am a pre-veterinary student at Virginia Tech, so I have some experience in a more professional sense as well! I received a certification for basic veterinary methods through my New Horizons class! I also know basic pet first aid! As you can probably guess, I love love love animals! I work part-time and volunteer in hospice, so other than that, I am usually free! My work schedule depends on the week, but it is very lenient! I treat each of my own pets as family, so when working with other’s pets, I like to do the same. I treat pets with the same amount of care as I would someone’s child and cater to each individual pet’s needs.

As a landscape architecture student at Virginia Tech, I love spending time outside and staying active—whether that means long walks, hikes, or just backyard playtime. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I treat every animal with patience, joy, and genuine care. I’m home this summer from school so I am quite flexible, and since I have a car, I can easily travel to homes, parks, trails, or wherever works best for you! I do my best to make your pet feel comfy and cared for, whether I’m hanging out at your place or taking them for a walk. I’ll follow whatever routine you’ve got and use whatever leash or gear you prefer. If your pup needs to be crated at certain times, I’ve got no problem with that—and I’ll make sure they’re settled and relaxed. About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

About: I can’t remember a time where I didn’t have a pet growing up. I have a cavalier who is 4 years old and is spoiled rotten. We got her at 8 weeks. We crate trained her and have also taught her other tricks. I have also kept friends and family member’s pets. If your pet stays with us, they can expect to be cuddled, played with, and have full bellies! I’m a stay at home, so my schedule is very flexible. Our cavalier goes on daily walks; has interactive playtime; and goes out to potty at least 3-4 times a day. Our dog is always leashes outside due to no fenced in yard. Dog parks ore our best friend for our dog to get some running in. Your dog won’t get lonely here.

About: I’ve helped my mom pet sit her German shepherd for a year and I handled it well. I learned how to feed him properly and took care of him responsibly. I will be mostly available in the afternoon. Once school start, I will be mostly available during the weekends. Feel free to check with me on availability otherwise. I make sure to walk my dog at least three times a day and feed him the right amount of food at least two times a day. I will make sure to respect others when taking him outside and stop any improper behavior in time. I regularly buy him treats and toys.
