“Tabitha's walks saved my pup from turning morose & depressed while I'm recovering from an injury. Haiku is cheerily anticipating her arrival as something to look forward to ... I especially appreciate her conscientiousness, concerns & flexibility during the current heat-wave, not to exhaust & stress the dog's welfare. Thanks, I'm truly grateful for this match :-)”

About: I have over 20 years of experience watching family and friend’s pets. I do over-night stays in your house with your pets, and dog walking. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, fish, and even lizards. I’m able to give medications, and I’m very good with senior pets. I was recently laid off and have completely open availability at the present time. I enjoy walking and would be happy to do that with your pet. I’m also available for home/pet-sitting during vacations. I have a senior cat who doesn’t do well with other animals so I can’t provide care in my home, but I have extensive experience providing care in my client’s homes. I respect my client’s homes and privacy - I do not bring guests into their homes or go through their belongings. I will keep your dog on-leash during walks but am happy to play with your dog in your yard or approved dog park.

“Kaitlyn is super exceptional and awesome! I reached out for an initial request and interview with a set schedule. However my schedule was wacky and I needed more than what I asked for and Kaitlyn helped me out with no issue! Kaitlyn also has shown my Ella so much attention and love within their first week together and I love that! Kaitlyn has gone above what I could have expected and I so grateful! She is a jewel and you won’t be disappointed!!!!”

“Carly is great! Our girl loves her! She is great with puppies. Mine is around 7 months and full of energy and she always gives her a good walk and exercise! We appreciate all she does!”

“Lady was wonderful! She came over to meet our dogs before walking them the first time and they loved her. Lady was great about keeping us posted on their walks (including sending lots of pictures) and was super responsive. We will definitely be asking her to walk the dogs again!”

“1st time using a walker. I was uneasy/sketched about the whole process but Sarah suggested a meet and greet before I had the chance to. After speaking with her in person I felt more comfortable . She really keeps me in the loop, especially the 1st few weeks. It's easy to discuss the behavior of my furs and aids with the training of my new puppy by following my request to interact with her a certain way. Together we are starting to overcome the typically naughty puppy phases. I have an older dog who is very "stranger danger" and he is obsessed with her fiance that sometimes comes with her during the weekend. The obsessiom my dog has with him proves he is a good guy. One time she was unable to make it to a scheduled meet and greet and she genuinely had remore and worked out a compromise to resolved the missed dates. I would recommend her to anyone 10:10 . I have a rude cat,but I've seen from my Ring doorbell that my rude cat goes up to her and asks for attention and allow Sarah to pet her, this also proves me thst Sarah is a good person ,because my rude cat does not really like many people, especially strangers.”

About: I love pets of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. I accept all personalities coming from an owner of a very mischievous husky and a reactive senior pup. I have several years of dog walking and sitting in DC as well as working at veterinarian offices. I am also currently enrolled in nursing school so am no stranger to any medically necessary situations. I will always ensure to treat your pet like my own and make sure they grown to love me like their own! I currently work nights part time at UMMC as well as am enrolled full time in nursing school. Though that might sound like my schedule I’m jammed pack, I have plenty of breaks in between for your beloved pups! I also enjoy quality time outside and would love to have a fur friend to join me. I currently do not do pet sitting in home or out as I have a 3 year old toddler I simply cannot spend time away from and my senior pup is unfortunately dog reactive.

“Christine spent the extra time to meet and get to know my German Shepherd girl before walking her. My girl was very comfortable with her and the walk went very well for both of them.”

As a full-time teacher, I’m strong in following instructions and providing clear and accurate support for your pet so you can relax while away. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes—from small breeds to large, high-energy mixes like my college coach’s Great Dane-Mastiff dogs. I’m confident handling strong, powerful pups as well as more delicate or senior dogs who may need extra patience and care. My background has given me experience with everything from daily walks and feeding schedules to helping reinforce training routines and managing unique pet personalities. I’m also a strong communicator—I keep owners updated regularly with messages, photos, and anything else that offers peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priority, and I take pride in being someone both you and your pets can trust. I’m a full-time teacher and have summers off, which gives me a flexible schedule and the opportunity to take on more pet care responsibilities during that time. While I use some of the summer to travel and spend time with family, I also believe it’s important to keep working—and there’s no better way than by spending time with animals! Pet care fits naturally into my active lifestyle. I love getting outside, so dropping in for visits or taking your dog for a walk is just as rewarding for me as it is for your pet. My open summer schedule allows me to be reliable, responsive, and fully present while caring for your pets. As a full-time teacher with multiple clearances, I bring responsibility, structure, and trust to every pet care visit. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully to maintain your pet’s routine, ensuring they feel safe and cared for in their own space. I create a calm, consistent environment by paying close attention to details like feeding schedules, medication, and enrichment—providing the same level of care and respect I give to my own pets.
