Rory makes sure our special needs pet is getting his medicine when he needs it and takes him for walks several times . I highly recommend her services. She responds quickly to my concerns while I am out of town. My babies love her.”

9. Aaron F.
“Aaron is one of the most kind, gentle souls I’ve ever met. I’ve known him for over 22 years, and I can confidently say there are few in this world I trust more than him. Every animal I’ve ever seen him with, including my own dog, is both safe and loved in his presence. I never let anyone other than my mother watch my dog, but if I needed to, I’d hand her to him without a second thought. He’s trustworthy and dependable in ways most could never achieve. I couldn’t possibly recommend him more to care for anyone’s pets. He is a diamond in the rough, and your pets will always be in great hands.”

“Our dog, Oso, loved James. He got the best walks and lots of attention while we were away. We'd definitely recommend James!”

12. Ashleigh M.

“Ashleigh was an amazing pet sitter! I can't say enough good things about Ashleigh! She stepped in last minute to watch my cat and dog over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I’m so glad she did. From the start, she was incredibly communicative and prompt, and both of my pets took to her right away when she came for the meet-and-greet. I could tell they were in great hands immediately. I received daily updates and pictures throughout my trip, which really put me at ease. It was clear she was keeping them both happy and entertained, and I’m so grateful for that! When I returned, she had gone above and beyond—not only was everything in my home tidy, but she also left a sweet note about her time with my pets. My dog is a bit temperamental (she’s a chow mix), and this was my first time leaving her with someone who wasn’t family, so I was a little nervous. But Ashleigh handled it like a pro! She seemed to really connect with both my pets, and I could tell they had a great time with her. I was hesitant to use Rover at first since my pets mean the world to me, but after this experience, I feel so much more confident. I will absolutely be booking Ashleigh again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s a true animal lover, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. 10/10!”

13. Amanda C.

“Amanda was amazing and I appreciate her for being able to accommodate us on a short notice. She inquired about my 2 kids. She was so nice and spent quality time with them. She took them on wonderful walks and sent pics. I couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you!”

14. Briana P.

“Above and beyond. Briana took such good care of the fur and fish family while we were away. On a last minute request over a holiday weekend, she was super accommodating, and did a fantastic job of keeping me updated the whole time. We even had a litter of kittens on her watch and she was phenomenal! Definitely recommend.”

About: With a lifetime of dog ownership, I care for my pup like family—daily walks, enrichment, healthy meals, and I’m the go-to sitter for friends’ pets. I currently own a business and work from home and bartend part time. So I’m with my dog quite often, I walk him daily- sometimes twice a day. He’s my best friend and is with me most of the time. I love walking and playing with animals so that’s a guarantee. Regular potty breaks and walks suited to the dog’s needs. Consistent feeding schedule with fresh water always available. Comfortable sleeping areas (crate, bed, or blanket—your choice)

16. Alyssa P.

“I could tell Alyssa was the right sitter within the first 5 minutes of meeting her. She put my mind at ease while scheduling traveling plans for our 5 day trip. While she was at my house I could tell that my dog was in great hands :) She had great updates and took great care of my house as well. Look forward to using her in the future! Thank you Alyssa!”

18. Amber D.

19. Amber M.
About: Hi, My name is Amber. I am a dedicated dog caregiver with a lifelong connection to animals. From a young age I was raised on a horse farm in the amazing Catskills, from dogs from big to small, and younger to older dogs, my affection for animals was cultivated early on and I developed a passion for all types of animals. I am currently a proud owner of one German Shepherd named Tucker, a rescued German Shepard Shorthaired Pointer mix named Lulu and an Akbash (a Turkish dog breed) named Anya, as well as a rescued cat whose name is Sparta. Driven by this passion, I pursued a comprehensive course in dog daycare management, as well as a completed course in pet CPR and first aid. Eager to expand my horizons, I have begun volunteering at the SPCA, adding a lot of dimension to my animal care journey. With aspirations to establish a doggie hotel facility, I envision a haven for dogs to receive top-notch care, with the warmth and expertise I’ve gained knowledge of over the years. My journey as a dog care provider is not just a profession but a reflection of my genuine dedication to the well being of animals. I am a server and I work at night (usually 4pm-10pm) but only work 3 times a week at my serving job. I have a lot of time during the day to help dog/ cat owners and dogs and cats themselves that need an extra hand, or should I say “paw” throughout the day. My dogs have a back yard they play in, but I usually still take them on walks at least once everyday, and I could do the same for your pets! If your dog/ cat hasn’t had his/her breakfast or dinner I would be happy give a helping hand with that.

20. Amanda M.

“Amanda exceeded our expectations by far. She is professional, and extremely responsive. Even though she was out of the country at the time, she was more responsive than the other 6 people we reached out to on Rover. Amanda is honest, transparent and trustworthy. She let us know what her time limitations were and offered alternatives that fit our schedules perfectly. We met Amanda so our three dogs could meet her and they absolutely love her. It was reassuring to see how much affection they were giving her right upon meeting. During our trip, Amanda communicated continuously, sending pictures and updates because she knew this was the first time we had left the two young ones with anyone. We were completely at ease and assured our pups were being treated like the king and queens they think they are. We got to know Amanda a little during our initial meeting and know we have found a friend most of all.”
