He has anxiety issues and seperation from us is hard for him. Jennifer was able to put us at ease by connecting with Ted quickly. “Ashleigh was an amazing pet sitter! I can't say enough good things about Ashleigh! She stepped in last minute to watch my cat and dog over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I’m so glad she did. From the start, she was incredibly communicative and prompt, and both of my pets took to her right away when she came for the meet-and-greet. I could tell they were in great hands immediately. I received daily updates and pictures throughout my trip, which really put me at ease. It was clear she was keeping them both happy and entertained, and I’m so grateful for that! When I returned, she had gone above and beyond—not only was everything in my home tidy, but she also left a sweet note about her time with my pets. My dog is a bit temperamental (she’s a chow mix), and this was my first time leaving her with someone who wasn’t family, so I was a little nervous. But Ashleigh handled it like a pro! She seemed to really connect with both my pets, and I could tell they had a great time with her. I was hesitant to use Rover at first since my pets mean the world to me, but after this experience, I feel so much more confident. I will absolutely be booking Ashleigh again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s a true animal lover, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. 10/10!”

About: I've loved and cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. I now work remotely, so I can be quite flexible in terms of care and stays. While I live in Homer, NY, I currently work remotely. My schedule is extremely flexible, even with short notice. And I love pets of all types of sizes. While I do not currently have pets of my own, I lived as both a kid and adult with both dogs and cats. I'll keep them safe and shower them with love!

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

“Tommy did an excellent job caring for our cat and 3 pups, one of which is a puppy. We don’t leave them with others very often so we were a little concerned the day would be stressful for them, especially for our 12 year old lab. Fortunately, we were happy to find all of them in perfectly content moods when we got home. They didn’t seem to care at all that we’d been gone. In addition, our home was left in immaculate shape, despite it being a muddy, rainy day. 10/10, will book again!”

About: I’ve been around all sorts of dogs my whole life, from growing up with dogs, to now owning my own little guy, and pet sitting for friends and family. I also worked in a doggie daycare center for a little while. I’ve always loved animals and i love working with them! About: Over the years, I've taken care of many animals. From our family dog (Yellow Lab) to our 3 cats, I've lived with animals my entire life. I have 8 years of experience caring for dogs, and I've cared for cats my entire life (21 years). All ages. Puppies, teens, elderly dogs... Kittens, cats, and old felines. At the moment, I'm living in a house away from my family pets. I also have experience administering medicines via treats and lotions. I'm available most of the time excluding around 12pm-6pm weekdays. I can do all holidays besides Christmas and Thanksgiving. I can do walks any length between 10 minutes and 2 hours. If need be, I can stay at the home overnight UP TO 2 NIGHTS IN A ROW. But other than that, I can come by to check up anytime during the day or night. I am comfortable with larger dogs as long as they are trained well enough not to jump on me or potentially injure me. For both cats and dogs, I am comfortable with them being outdoors as long as the area is either fenced in, it is not near a busy street, or they are trained enough to not wander far. I have experience administering medicines via treats and lotions.

About: I have been around animals all my life. I have always done very well with dogs and have been taking care of my own, my family’s, and my friend’s dogs for as long as I can remember. I can handle all sorts. I am an active individual and do great with dogs that like to play or go for walks. My availability often varies. I work full time 8AM-4PM everyday of the week, but have time in the afternoons to see dogs. I am up through the night and can do appointments in the night as well. My weekends are typically free for appointments. I am a very attentive care giver. I will tend to all of your dog’s needs and pay close attention to their behaviors. I am good at following schedules and instructions. I am great at keeping dogs entertained and helping to get some energy let out. I am active and can take dogs for any length of a walk and play with them for however long is needed. I am able to handle all types of dogs.

“Bobbi Jo was AMAZING. We needed a sitter last minute for our two dogs during our wedding - we wanted them to be there, but didn’t want to leave them alone when we were getting ready, dancing, etc. When she arrived I immediately felt comfortable leaving the pups with her, so I could focus on everything else. She came midday Saturday and stayed until after our wedding; she was comfortable hanging out with us while we got ready, and just making sure the dogs were taken care of. She walked them around the grounds and kept them within arms reach, if necessary, throughout the reception. And then fed them and watched TV with them as it got dark. Her presence allowed us to really enjoy our day! We’re so thankful.”
