My 14 year old Shih Tzu recently left us, so there is plenty of room in my heart to care for your pup. We will become great buddies.

About: I've had dogs most my life. I love dogs and they love me. I would enjoy the opportunity to love on your dog while you are away. I am semi-retired. I worked in the lumber yard and then became a truck driver. I now work a cleaning job in the early hours of the morning. I enjoy being active while my wife is at work. I love all dogs of any size. I am able to handle dogs of all sizes, including large breeds. It would be an honor to walk or visit your dog.
About: Been taking care of pets my entire life. Have raised cats, dogs, lizards. Have experienced with bottle feeding. Love playing and going for walks or simply cuddling on couch if pet is less active. I’m working on making this my full time job so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet. “I have had two amazing dachshund fur babies that are my life. Last year Woody got a diagnosis of cancer. I did everything I could for his comfort from April to Oct 1, when he crossed the rainbow bridge. Whenever I had to either work or go to a meeting, Katie would come and stay for hours with Woody. She would give him his meds and also prepare and feed him his special diet I had created to be gentle on his digestive system. This gave me amazing peace of mind during this time. I have a friend who rescues dachshunds. She had a little male who needed to find a new forever home. After discussions with my vet and some friends, decided to try to see if it would help Woody at all. This little guy came in and I truly believe he perked him up and Woody was more active. His name is Willie! Since Woody has passed, Katie has stepped in again to care for my little one, my fur baby. She has even taken care of him overnight when necessary. Willie has severe separation anxiety and Katie mothers him just like I do. I have given Katie my house key so she is free to come and care for and walk my little guy. I have complete and absolute trust in Katie. She has a little doxie of her own, who has a seizure disorder. She takes meds 3 or 4 times a day. Katie has figured out what to do and how to care for her little Heidi when she is having a seizure. Katie is an amazing and extremely knowledgeable caregiver.”
