About: Active, responsible, and patient animal lover with a flexible schedule and strong attention to detail. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or overnight care, I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy staying active and maintaining a structured schedule. I’m able to dedicate time throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention and care they need. I also value consistency and communication, so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands. I make sure they are properly fed and hydrated. I like to take them on walks and to also play fetch. Most importantly I give them the attention that they are seeking. I also just make sure that they feel safe in the environment that they’re in. About: I've had everything from puppies to senior dogs, cats, fish, hedghogs and even a ball python. I've trained my own pets, and cared for many pets of my friends and family. I am currently a stay at home parent who's kids have gone off to school so I have lots of day time to walk and care for your pets. I will feed any pets, I can do clean up (litter boxes or any accidents) and there will always be play time. We can do walks or if your yard is fenced we can take playtime outside. My own dog requires medications and daily grooming so I am very comfortable doing all of those essential chores. I am looking forward to caring for your pets
About: I love dogs, and I've been around them since I was born (my "older brother" was a German Shepherd mix). I've fed, walked, played with, and bathed the family dogs since I was little, so it’s hard to quantify my years of experience, but I’ve been on Rover for 3 years. When I’m not spending time with my parents’ dogs, Blue and Koda, it would be awesome to spend time with your pup and bring some joy to you and your pet’s day. I’ve had dozens of clients, mostly from my time in school at IU and grad school in Virginia, and they each enjoyed having me look after their pets. Many have asked me to watch or walk them again. I’ve watched big and small dogs, old and young, lazy and energetic, and I take special care of pets with anxiety. While I'm not as passionate about cats, I think they're pretty cool and I don't think I've ever met one that didn't like me! I love playing with younger kitties and taking naps with older cats, and I helped my grandma take care of a stray kitty named Wesley, who was recently adopted :) As a recent grad, I’ll spend much of my time networking and job hunting, but I always make time for the animals I’m watching. I sit at a desk most of the day so taking your dog(s) on a walk is a welcome break to stretch my legs! While you’re away, I try to keep your pet(s) on their regular schedule when it comes to things such as waking up, eating, treats, playtime, walks, potty, and bedtime. When I take your pet out on a potty break, I don't just take them out for a minute to do their business. I make sure to play with them and give them lots of pets, because I know how much they need some attention when their human is away. When it comes to house sitting, I’ll happily complete daily tasks as requested, such as watering plants, taking out trash/recycling, and taking in the mail/packages.
About: I grew up with a variety of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have a vested interest in dog training and am currently enrolled in the Karen Pryor Academy to further my education. I have trained my own dog Lorelei into earning her CGC, Novice, and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles. She has anxiety issues, so this gave me valuable knowledge in working with nervous dogs and leash pullers. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday full days at a medical office. Tuesday is our half day so I am available after 1pm. I’m available all day on the weekends and Thursdays to walk and/or drop in on fur babies. I believe in positive reinforcement works wonders in building a relationship with any animal. Both of my dogs are trained using praise and rewards. I also always double check equipment used before a walk just to make sure it’s all in working order. I also bring a slip lead in case of emergencies. I also have experience working with gaining the trust of anxious dogs.
“Paige was great! Very reliable, sent great pictures throughout our trip, and our hesitant/suspicious-of-new-people cat opened up to play and snuggle with her, which is exactly what we hoped for! She was very patient after some difficulties getting into our home initially (my cat kicked a key under the fridge, of course), which was super appreciated. Would definitely use her again for future trips!!”

“She has been sooo good to my dog! She plays with her , she is patient with pheebs through her crazy zoomies and excitement and she cares about it. I got to go to work at easy when Kayla go to see my baby Pheebs.”

About: I recently moved to Dallas to be a nanny, but I don’t start my job until March 15th! I live in a studio apartment on the second floor with my labradoodle/terrier mix (Louie)! He’s super friendly and loves to play! We go to the dog park all the time and occasionally get pup cups! We also love going on walks around my apartment complex or in a nearby park! I’ve watched a few dogs on here and have enjoyed it so much! Availability: M: 8am to 4pm Tue: 8am to 4pm Wed: 8am to 4pm Thrus: 8am to 4pm Fri: 8am to 4pm Sat: 8am to 5pm Sun: Available all day I’m very caring and patient with all dogs! Evansville pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was the first time I hired anyone from Rover to sit for my cats. I usually had a friend check in on them while I was away. But I needed someone who could give injections to my cat Fred, who turned diabetic.Amber did a great job. She had no issues giving Fred his insulin. And Brownie, who would be MIA when visitors come, actually came out of hiding a little bit, so I was glad. I will keep her on my list for future jobs. Good job Amber.
