“Alyssa did an excellent job caring for our dogs while I was away. She is very trustworthy, dependable, and clearly has a natural way with animals. I could tell she treated my fur babies as if they were her own, giving them attention, care, and kindness. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter. ☺️🫶🏼”

About: I've had everything from puppies to senior dogs, cats, fish, hedghogs and even a ball python. I've trained my own pets, and cared for many pets of my friends and family. I am currently a stay at home parent who's kids have gone off to school so I have lots of day time to walk and care for your pets. I will feed any pets, I can do clean up (litter boxes or any accidents) and there will always be play time. We can do walks or if your yard is fenced we can take playtime outside. My own dog requires medications and daily grooming so I am very comfortable doing all of those essential chores. I am looking forward to caring for your pets
“Alaina was so great to our cats while we were gone for a week! She was super communicative and sent us lots of photos and videos of our sweet babies :) We will definitely book with her again in the future!!!”

About: Hello! As a teacher here in Evansville, patience, routine, and a high level of care are at the very heart of what I do every day. Working with little ones has made me incredibly detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and highly adaptable—qualities that I bring directly to caring for your beloved fur babies! I am also the proud owner of a German Shepherd, so I am very comfortable with large, intelligent, and high-energy breeds. Whether your dog needs an energetic late-afternoon walk to burn off some energy, or your pets need a dedicated evening drop-in visit for dinner, playtime, and a potty break, I am here to help. I am a true animal lover who treats every pet with the exact same kindness, respect, and attention I would give my own. Because I live and work right here on the West Side, I limit my travel radius strictly to our local neighborhoods. This ensures that I am always prompt, reliable, and can easily accommodate your pet's specific evening routines without delay. I can't wait to meet your four-legged family members and give you complete peace of mind while you are away! My schedule and times are down below for the summer and for when the school year begins. When August comes, I'll be teaching so I'll only be able after 5:00pm. As a full-time educator, I thrive on consistency and structure, and pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I naturally maintain a very active lifestyle and love getting my steps in every day, so afternoon walks and drop-in visits are a perfect transition for me at the end of the school day. ⬇️Current Schedule⬇️ *Availability for dog walking and drop-in's:* Tuesdays 5:30pm - 8:30pm Wednesdays 8:00am - 1:00pm Thursdays 8:00am - 3:00pm ⚪Schedule (Start's in August)⚪ Monday 5:30pm - 8:30pm Tuesday 5:30pm - 8:30pm Wednesday 5:30pm - 8:30pm Thursday 5:30pm - 8:00pm *I also may be able some weekends, those days will reflect on my calendar you can view. “Kenzie was incredible with our dog Kash! We got great updates every visit and she went above and beyond to make sure he was eating his food (which he typically doesn't do when we are out of town). Thankful she was able to watch our pup and would recommend her to anyone!!”

About: I have many years of experience working with all kinds of animals. Including cats, dogs, and horses I was raised around animals and have also trained some animals. I am happy to train yours, including basic training like sit, stay, and down! I’m currently a full-time student, but I have flexibility day-to-day. I a part-time job but once school is over, I will have more free time during the day. I mostly just offer drop in visits and dog walking, but I am a patient caregiver who loves spending time outside and I can’t wait to meet your fur babies

About: Growing up me and my family have always had multiple dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, and even hamsters, I was always begging for another animal. My parents had told me if I get this animal I have to take good care of it, so from a young age I have had experience taking care of multiple animals at once, making sure they were fed, walked and properly played with and taken care of! In highschool and college I have had friends and family ask me to take care of their pet while they’re away on a trip so I already have experience either taking an animal in for a day or two or showing up to their house to feed, water, walk and play with the animal. I work around 27-30 hours a week. So during the week most days I am free until 11-noon and then on my break at work I would be able to stop by and finally when I get off work around 7-8 I am free for the rest of the night. I rarely work work Thursday, Saturday or Sunday so those days I will be completely free! I do not have any pets at the moment. My lease does not allow me to have pets. Whenever I was living back home I always made sure I fed my cats and dogs on time and always made sure I had time to play with them so I can make them as happy as they make me!
About: Active, responsible, and patient animal lover with a flexible schedule and strong attention to detail. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or overnight care, I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy staying active and maintaining a structured schedule. I’m able to dedicate time throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention and care they need. I also value consistency and communication, so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands. I make sure they are properly fed and hydrated. I like to take them on walks and to also play fetch. Most importantly I give them the attention that they are seeking. I also just make sure that they feel safe in the environment that they’re in. I know that when animals meet new people and they can be a little bit nervous so I try to make sure that they just feel safe and calm.
“Great with out furballs as always! I’ve lost track how many times we’ve used her, but we can tell neither dog nor cat felt “abandoned” while we were gone because of her visits and attention”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life from cats and dogs, to horses and cows, even snakes and scorpions! Animals are a passion of mine and there’s not much I love more! I work part time and from home so I have plenty of free time to take care of your four legged babies! I look forward to meeting them:) I will be very respectful of your home and clean up after myself and your babies, whether it be inside, outside or in a kennel, I will follow instructions as directed!
“She has been sooo good to my dog! She plays with her , she is patient with pheebs through her crazy zoomies and excitement and she cares about it. I got to go to work at easy when Kayla go to see my baby Pheebs.”

About: My family always had dogs and cats growing up, so naturally, I am a pet lover. I have professional experience working with dogs and cats, as well as 3 dogs of my own. I stay at home, so I spend a lot of time caring for my dogs. I am available most hours of the work week, and occasionally on weekends. I keep a close eye on pets and how they are interacting with myself and/or each other. I treat pets like family members, and make sure they are getting adequate care and mental stimulation required for a happy pet.

Evansville cat parents share their Rover experiences
This was the first time I hired anyone from Rover to sit for my cats. I usually had a friend check in on them while I was away. But I needed someone who could give injections to my cat Fred, who turned diabetic.Amber did a great job. She had no issues giving Fred his insulin. And Brownie, who would be MIA when visitors come, actually came out of hiding a little bit, so I was glad. I will keep her on my list for future jobs. Good job Amber.
