“Madison was absolutely amazing! I had only had Lia for a week and was nervous about leaving her so soon, especially as she was still adjusting to a new environment. But Madison made the whole experience incredibly easy and stress-free. She was communicative, responsive, and sent thoughtful updates that gave me total peace of mind. It was clear that Lia was not just well cared for, but genuinely happy spending time with her. I’m so grateful to have found Madison—she’ll definitely be my first call in the future!”

“Tyler was so sweet and kind! She communicated with me very effectively so I always knew what was going on with my pets. I did not worry about my dog at all while he was under her care. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Kenzie was great! She was great at communicating with me before I chose to book her. I wanted to feel comfortable with her coming to my home and messaged back and forth multiple times. She left a good note and photos of my dog!”

“Everything went very well! I think the 2 dogs and cat missed her visit the few days after we returned. 🤣😂 Grace will be caring the our pets again in the near future and I have no reservations and I know all 3 of our pets will enjoy her living care!”

“Paige came last minute for a drop in before her official booking for the weekend and helped me out!!! I appreciate her so much, and the quick response last minute! ❤️”

“Taylor was amazing and took care of our Nnedi while we were out with drop in visits, sending us great updates and pictures. Will definitely go with Taylor again in the future!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats. Been taking care of my own dogs for 2 years now, but have plenty of experience before that. feeding, bathing, potty training, obedience training. I love to go on long walks with dogs, and I love to play with cats! I am a part time server and nanny. I start school in the fall and will have extra time on my hands in between classes and homework. I have two dogs at my home, we go on plenty of walks and we have enrichment time indoors as well as outdoors. I would do the same for your doggo children.

About: since age 10 I have learned to take care of pets starting with small to medium sizes before getting to take care of my families now 8 year old 40+ pound GSP Whinnie at 8 weeks old. I look forward to providing the detail oriented support you need to making sure that your pet is well taken care of. I work part time through the year with my semester fall starting at the end of August. I am available for house sitting , check ins and walks throughout the week, working with your schedule and pet care needs. I have consistent transportation and as well as coming to your home, I can also pick up your dog from the boarders/groomers if a pickup is more convenient for you and your pet.
“If I had to pick a permanent person in my dogs life (other than my family)....it would be Stephanie. You just know what you know......what you know. I had the wonderful opportunity of briefly meeting Steph before, because her fiance' watched Maceo several stays overnight. He is wonderful too, btw. My Maceo knew when we were heading to Josh's as soon as we would turn the corner! He would get so excited and start barking in the car. NOW....I don't know if that was for Josh....Stephanie....or the beautiful fur babies he made friends with on his visits (we'll let them fight that one out ;) Nonetheless, he loved being around them and THAT says alot to me. We want someone to love and take care of our baby just as we do. Stephanie is simply the best. She was there last minute for us, doing a couple of in-house visits and even put a package inside for me. She loved my Maceo and he looked very happy and comfortable with her. There is not even a question if I will use her again. Of course I will. I feel she is like family, now. Thanks Baby Girl! :)”

So lots of attention while mom and dad are gone on a break. I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to play. I can crate or cuddle depending on the dogs needs. Will be happy to give meds if needed.
“Bryan is a wonderful cat care person. Very communicative, made sure all feeding and care instruction were followed and sensitive to my cats. I returned to calm and happy animals. I would highly recommend Bryan for your animals care.”

“Great visits! Both of my pups were taking care of and giving as much love & play time as their spoiled butt’s wanted! Both pups, one with high anxiety, looked forward to her visits & felt comfortable and happy!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Evansville
Evelyn/Evi was great with Chayce, she checked in on her several times. She fed, walked and even brushed her. Our dog is scared of fireworks & when Evi checked on her in the evening when fireworks were being fired off she sat with her & gave her comfort. This is the first time we’ve let someone Chayce didn’t know take care of her & she really took a liking to Evi quickly. We received pictures & videos which were nice, we had no worries with Evi. I would highly recommend her for pet care. We will definitely use her again when we need a dog sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Evansville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
