“Dorothy was a life saver with our nervous pup. She was patient and understanding and let our dog get comfortable with her. I really appreciate her good dog sense and great communication. Thank you Dorothy!”

About: My services include the basic outside time and feeding times, but leave room for walks, baths, and lots of playtime at the pet owner's discretion. I've worked with animals for over 20 years, have learned basic training techniques, been a pet/farm sitter for several families, and have dealt with a variety of breeds (and sizes + ages). Currently, I am living between the Athens, GA area as well as the Augusta, GA area and am happy to accept clients in both regions! I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and have decided that I want to devote my life to working with animals. Heading on vacation? Need a dog walker? Let's chat and see if we'll be a good fit! If you're a new client, I'd love to set up a time to meet prior to booking. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your four-legged friend(s)! __________ Why do I love pet sitting? I've been a dog-lover my entire life. I grew up with cats, and decided that for my 16th birthday I wanted a dog instead of a car. I grew up volunteering at the local CSRA Humane Society - from dog walking to helping the vet tech there, my love for animals grew. It’s where I adopted my first dogs, Lorraine and MJ. It's my passion for animals that then led me to study Animal Science in college, and through my studies, I gained valuable experience with a variety of species. I am happy to watch your dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, reptiles, and the like! Do I have experience administering medication? Yes; I have spent several years working alongside a vet tech, and have become comfortable administering a variety of medications and treatments. Providing top-quality animal care is my priority! I work full time as a pet + farm sitter as well as do some freelance work on the side. My schedule is flexible depending on the needs of your pets. I do not provide care in my home at this time. Care will be dependent upon the environment of the location in which I am providing my services.

“When it comes to select a person I usually count on my dog senses and since I needed to choose a dog walker I totally relayed on his preferences. When Paige first met us it was like pure love. They couldn't stop petting and play with each other. So I decided to give it a go and see. After a few walks i am happy with my choice. Paige seems to take good care of my baby in a very responsible way. She is also very accommodating. I would recommend her with no hesitation of any kind.”

About: I absolutely love playing and taking care of animals. I grew up around animals since I was born. Any job required will get done and you will be more than satisfied with my services. I can help potty train, help with tricks, bathe the animal (if you want), & keep them happy during my visit with them or their visit with me in my home. I absolutely don’t like animal abuse so I will not hurt your love one or hit them for their mistake. I simply take care of the issue (ex: using bathroom in the house) by knowing to take them out every so often. I’m very nice and will take care and love on your pet(s) as if they were my own! Overall, please book me early in advance as my schedule can fill up. I also take care of your home as it’s my own and can help with watering plants, making sure trash goes out, getting the mail everyday and I will clean up my area when I stay at your house. I want to make you feel better when you turn home and have to do as little work as possible. I’m currently a college student onto becoming a nurse. I have plenty of time on my hand to accommodate your needs for your sweet pets I currently have a fenced in yard and have two smaller pups. One is more a senior so she’s constantly in bed but the other one has full energy and loves to be friendly with another pups to play with.

About: I treat every dog like family. I’ve had years of hands on experience, not just watching other people’s dogs but raising and caring for my own. From young puppies to senior dogs, I understand how to tune in each dogs unique routine. I’ve sat for friends, neighbors, and family over the years, building trust through reliability and friendliness. Whether it’s long walks or belly rubs, I’m here to make your dog feel happy and safe while you’re away. I start each day caring for my own dogs, making sure they get fed, walked, and plenty of exercise catering for their own needs. And whenever I am taking care of someone else’s dog I make to plan everything around them so they get the love and care that they need. I know how important it is to give animals the attention they need to feel safe and happy. When pets stay in my home I make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I maintain a clean and safe environment that caters to their every need. When in a clients home I make sure to respect their space and stick to the instructions provided to me. I also make sure to keep clients updated with photos and messages so they know their pet is happy and well cared for.

“Lindsey is the best! She has come over to walk our dog multiple times and had done a wonderful job. She always responds quickly, arrives on time, and sends the funniest photos of our pup! We rebook over and over again with her!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for a large portion of my life. I have taken care of various sized dogs and have enjoyed them all from the smallest chihuahua to the largest Great Dane! I recently graduated from graduate school and am studying for my licensure exam. This gives me lots of flexibility in my schedule and makes it very easy for me to spend time with your doggo! I have taken care of various types of animals which has required me to become comfortable with being able to crate pets as well as administer oral medications for both dogs and cats. For the animals that like a little extra loving, I’m always willing to cuddle up and provide some TLC!

“Allison walked our three pups throughout the week while we were unable to. She showed up on time, communicative, and our pups were super excited to see her. Thank you Allison!”

About: I have had animals all of my life. I have been personally responsible for the care of my pets since I was seven years old. I was always raised to treat my pets like family, and I do the same with all animals I interact with. I regularly pet sit for my friends and family, and have been doing so since I was a teenager. I have experience with cats, dogs, lizards, snakes, birds, frogs, and most rodents. I am a stay at home wife and mother, so I have a lot of free time in my day. My children are young, so I cannot have animals in my home that don’t get along well with children. I have three friendly, well trained dogs to get along with each other greatly. They’ve gotten along with any other dogs that have been under my care. They are also great with my small children. My dogs get fed twice a day, they get walked on demand, and they are allowed to sleep where they please. When they were puppies, they did sleep in a crate in my room. But as they were trained, they were allowed to use the crate as they please. My dogs are very spoiled, they get plenty of treats, they have lots of toys, they have their own beds, and their own blankets.

“Jolene was very patient with Sasha (and me!) since this was Sasha's first time being walked by a stranger. She managed to Sasha very well, and I am looking forward to more walks and daycare in the future. Thank you, Jolene!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I have either had my own or helped neighbors and family with theirs. I have had to do things like feed, walk and play with peoples pets both while they were out of town and while they had a busy work schedule. It is something I genuinely enjoy. I currently have a work from home job that allows me to work with pets most days and most times - I have a very flexible routine because of this. I do have three cats at home so care in my home would pose difficulties. I would mostly want to care for them in your home so they feel most comfortable too!

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I can make sure your furry baby is loved and well taken care of no matter what size, age, and energy level! I also have experience with puppy training & sitting. We go for walks every morning and evening and welcome any addition to the pack to make sure everyone gets enough exercise & stimulation for the day! I work from home with flexible hours so am able to get your fur babies out whenever needed. I live in a house with a fenced yard so there is plenty of space for your pets to run around and play. We also have a very friendly, 4 year old, golden retriever to keep your pups company during their stay!

“Devin did a wonderful job with our dog! Our dog is very nervous around new people but Devin was patient and willing to work with our dog. She sent pictures and described how the day went. She even noticed that my dog was licking a spot on her back and kept me updated each time she visited. She also was willing to work with a short notice. She came for a meet and greet the same day we requested the appointment. She watched our dog the following day. I would highly recommend her.”

About: Growing up, our home was a joyful (and sometimes chaotic!) zoo of dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles, and even the occasional rescue rabbit. My earliest memories are of curling up with our German Shepherd after school, sneaking bits of toast under the table, and learning—through muddy paws and tail wags—that animals aren’t just pets, they’re family. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to care for animals in every stage of life—from bottle-feeding newborn kittens to administering medication to sweet senior dogs with arthritis. I have a soft spot for rescues and shy animals who need a little extra time to trust. I’ve worked with high-energy breeds that thrive with structured walks and stimulation, as well as gentle couch potatoes who just want someone close by to snuggle. What truly sets me apart is my intuition and respect for each animal’s individuality. I don’t treat pet care like a checklist—I listen, observe, and adapt to what your pet needs. Is your dog a slow walker who likes to sniff every blade of grass? We’ll take our time. Do they need mental stimulation? Let’s puzzle it out together. Does your cat demand a very particular style of chin scratch? Challenge accepted. I’m also comfortable with basic training and reinforcing routines around crate time, leash etiquette, and mealtime manners. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels, because I know those subtle shifts matter. I’ve cared for pets with special diets, separation anxiety, allergies, and mobility issues—and I always treat these needs with the seriousness and compassion they deserve. To me, being a great pet sitter isn’t just about showing up on time—it’s about being fully present, fully invested, and truly loving what I do. I’m not just a caregiver—I’m your pet’s new best friend (and maybe their second-favorite human after you!). I work from home and make my own schedule so I build my days around your pets’ routines, not the other way around. I’m available for early morning walks, midday play breaks, or evening check-ins, and I pride myself on being reliable and responsive. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or your 9-to-5, I’m here to give your pet the love and attention they deserve. Whether in your home or mine, I create a safe, loving, and peaceful environment. I follow your instructions closely, keep spaces tidy and pet-friendly, and maintain communication throughout. I never leave pets unsupervised in unsafe situations, and I pay close attention to details—from locked gates to feeding routines. I have a fully-fenced, large yard for playtime and potty breaks, and there is no off-limits furniture for furry family members. My goal is always to make your pet feel secure, seen, and cared for.

About: I recently received my Pet Sitter Certification from IAP Career College and have over ten years of experience working professionally with animals. From 2011 until 2013 I entered the pet services industry as a volunteer at the CSRA Humane Society. The Humane Society is the only non-profit no kill shelter in our community. While volunteering, I would visit and play with both the cat and dog residents. My duties at the Human Society consisted of giving tours of the facility, assisting with donations, walking and brushing the cats and dogs, and catching the staff up on washing food and water bowls. From 2013 until 2014, they hired me as a cat caretaker, in which left me in charge of taking care of almost 200 cats at any given time. I left the Humane Society to start pet sitting for friends and family members. I have experience in taking care of a variety of dog and cat breeds. I began doing home visits and drop-ins in 2015 and have since added overnight stays to my list of services. My pet customers love me and I care for them as I care for my own. I have made pet care a full-time job and will book only the number of pets I can see in one day in order to stay on schedule. I am also flexible so that I can meet the needs of my clients. I can be counted on to always be on time which I think is important to keep the pets I serve on their routine. Trust is important and I am very honest and trustworthy. Before working with a pet I like to learn what it is the owner would like for me to do if keeping the pet in his or her own home and the safety precautions I should be aware of. I am also very up front and honest and can be relied on to do the job the way it needs to be done. I also have no problem letting my client know if the ability to work with a pet with special needs or care is outside my scope of knowledge. I ask my clients to keep a list of emergency numbers (such as Veterinarian) when I am on an overnight pet sitting stay. When taking pets for a walk, I always keep a portable water bowl and bottled water with me to keep the pet hydrated while being active. I am not certified in CPR, but my goal is to be certified within the next 3 months.
