About: I have always loved dogs and I have decided that I want to be around dogs in my free time because it makes me happy! I am a soon to be retired school teacher and want to spend my time now with animals especially dogs! For the next 10 months I will be still working my teacher schedule and would like to get a head start on my next venture. I would be available for dog sitting on weekends and dog walks after 3pm during the work week and anytime over weekends. I have always had a dog growing up and very lovingly cared for my own dogs for the last 31 years. I enjoy being around all dogs. When I retire I would also like to volunteer somewhere for dogs. I am a retired school teacher and I am substituting teaching part time. So, I am available most days unless I have a sub job. I really enjoy being around dogs and cats. I have a fenced in backyard and one dog named Lina. She is medium sized and very friendly with other dogs. I would love to love on your fur baby.

I’ve grown up with all kinds of dogs, from tiny, super energetic puppies to bigger dogs who love to pull on the leash lol, so I’m pretty comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. I also currently have a cat, so I’m definitely comfortable with cats too! I genuinely just love being around animals and getting to know their little personalities. I know every pet is different, so I’m happy to follow whatever routine, instructions, or preferences your pet is used to. I’d love to be someone you can trust to take care of your pets and give them lots of attention and love while you’re away! 🐾 I am currently working for myself, so my schedule is super flexible! I would love to accommodate to you and your baby’s needs. I am typically available on Monday-Sunday from 8am-10pm. I love a good hike! :) I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified and will treat your pets as if they are my own! I am open to communication on how YOU would love for me to care for your pet!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
