So grateful that Manish (and family) were able to take Loki last minute while I went for a mountain bike ride. He was very communicative and sent lots of photos and Loki seemed to have a great time playing and walking :) much appreciated! I'll definitely look into his services again if I'm in the area!

Cynthia has been fantastic with our dog and patient with us and all of our questions 😊 Cynthia was also patient with our dog as she had an accident while adjusting to her new environment, and made it a fun experience for the pup and put our minds at ease. We strongly recommend for her vast animal experience, calm demeanor, and for just being great! Thank you!

About: A lifelong owner of hunting breed dogs, I have a wealth of knowledge in how to give a dog their best adventure life. I currently own two friendly dogs, 13 year old GSP Quinn and 5 year old English Setter-Pointer Sherman, who would love to share their fenced half acre yard. Aiofe the cat is the newest addition to the family- her best friend is a golden retriever that comes over. When we're not at home, we're out ski touring, mountain biking, hiking or exploring. We'd love your pups to join! Is your dog more comfortable in your home? Don't worry, my other half can watch my dogs while I devote my attention to your adventure buddy. I work full time for REI buying skis and car racks, living that Work From Home life, but can work from your house if there's access to the internet. In addition to raising and training bird dogs since I was 5, I have grown up around horses and other farm animals. Whatever shape your adventure buddy comes in, I'm in! Does your dog prefer adventures closer to home? I'm just as comfortable exploring Netflix as I am hitting the trail. I love sharing my seat with a warm furry friend.

About: I absolutely love dogs! Sadly in October of 2024 my dog of 15 years passed away. We are ready and available to love and support your pup while you are away. It can be stressful having you fur baby go to a new place; rest assured they are in loving and capable hands. We strive to ensure the adjustment to a new place is as easy as possible on your pet. We generally only take 2 pets at a time so there is plenty of time and energy to ensure your pet gets all the love, care, exercise and attention they need! We have been enjoying caring for your pets so much the past year with Rover. Preference for dogs who are good with other dogs, house trained and medium energy requirements. Let’s talk and see if we are a good fit! I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule and my partner is an animal lover who works from home. We currently have no pets living in the home so plenty of space and time for your family member! We do have a 7 and 4 year old who also love having doggies around and are realllllly adapted to ensuring your pet is safe, loved and help so much with play time! We have a fenced in yard, plenty of space for walks (which we enjoy frequently), Lots of spare toys and energetic and disciplined children to keep them busy! We are ready to support any and all needs your pet may have.

About: Hi! We are Belle and David and we have been caring for pets on Rover for 4+ years now. We only watch one dog at a time so that we can provide each fur baby with their own special love and care. We have a 2.5 year old mini labradoodle so we know how important your pet is and enjoy getting to know each pets unique personalities! Our dog is overall calm and lazy but willing to play with opportunities to take breaks when tired. We do require meet and greets in order to make sure our pets will be a good match for each other! 😊 Belle is a teacher and David works from home so there is always at least one of us home, especially in the summer months. Our dog Mogul is also in our home so it’s important to us that the pets are always supervised. When house sitting I am very considerate of your pets needs and your home. I leave spaces cleaner than I found them and make sure your fur baby is comfortable and happy as can be! I am attentive to your care details and love playing with pets inside and outside of your home. On walks I am always aware of our environment and pay attention to your dogs body language to ensure their happiness and security in new places and around familiar neighborhoods.

Kim is wonderful! She took great care of Whitley, and I loved the updates with how Whitley was playing with the other dogs. Kim is extremely responsive to messages and we can’t wait to book with her again in the future. It is such a relief to find somebody we know can take good care of our girl when needed. Thank you, Kim!

About: I grew up around cats, dogs and hamsters. We have had 2 boxers previously, one of which I have cared for through his late senior years, so I know what extra special care senior animals may need. I am comfortable diaper-changing, walking a their pace and administering medications. I have experience house-sitting and pet-sitting for various pets throughout my life — mostly cats and dogs. My son currently has a Leopard Gecko, so I have some insight into caged reptiles too, but am willing to learn more and care for them too, if needed. I am a Stay-at-Home-Mom with an open schedule. I can easily fit in dog walks, or house-visits to care for a pet. (I have an 1.5 year old daughter who will mostly like need to come with me on these visits.) You can trust me to walk your pet or come pop-in for a visit to feed and care for them. I love all animals and am happy to help them feel loved and less alone while you're gone.

I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with Maritza. She made her feel welecome the minute we walked in the door. You can tell right away that she does Roover for the love of dogs, and kept me updated with a short note and picture a dew times through the day. Rosie was very happy and playing with the kids when I got there to pick her up, she got in the car and fell asleep on the way home. She must have had a good day because she ate dinner and went back for a nap, all worn out and happy. which can be hard to do with a yound Doodle. I took Rosie back 2 days later and she jumped right out of the car and trotted to the front door, and before I could even knck she pawed at the door, like hey, I here, ready for more fun. She was just as happy when my husband picked her up later that day to. Will definantly be reaching out again when Rosie needs daycare.

About: Hi! My name is Mary, and I’m a dedicated animal professional with a lifelong passion for caretaking. I recently graduated with a degree in Animal Science, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Teaching (Agricultural Education). My experience is extensive and diverse; I have worked in veterinary clinics and on farms handling everything from livestock like cattle, pigs, and goats to domestic pets. As a proud owner of 5 cats, I understand that every animal has a unique personality and specific needs. Since I am currently focusing on my graduate studies from home, I can offer your "furry baby" constant attention and love throughout the day. For exercise and play, my apartment complex features a fenced-in dog park, and I have an open yard area for supervised, leashed potty breaks. Having pet-sat for teachers and friends for years, I pride myself on being reliable, observant, and capable of providing a safe, high-quality environment for your pets while they are in my hands. I’m currently working part time so I have a lot of free time to take care of all types of fur babies. Your pet will be well taken care of. I have five cats that grew up with dogs and are very friendly. Your animal would be safe and welcomed in my home or yours.

About: Ever since getting our vizslador 3 years ago, I have fallen in love with all dogs. I believe all dogs are unique with individual personalities!! I love earning a dogs trust! I’m available for boarding some weekends and some days of the week depending on my part time work schedule. I know the importance of a positive attitude and exercise for our dogs! I have three children who have helped take care of or own fur baby, who would be loving companions to your fur baby. Our own fur baby is also quite friendly with others.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 3,021 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Ernies Grove. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Ernies Grove commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 3,021 sitters in Ernies Grove, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
