“Sammy must have had a great time at their place, as he was super tired at the end of the day and slept through whole night without any more play time or treats. Note: Sammy is a high energy dog and doesn’t get tired easily. He does 4-5 mile walks everyday and still needs more play time. Another thing to note about Sammy: he has a tendency to mark at new places. We specifically gave bellybands with him. But somehow they managed to keep him off bellybands and off marking their place. But, the second time, when we pulled up to their house, my dogs raced to their door to see them. We got regular updates and photos. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pups with them. Also, our flight was delayed and we ended up picking them up the following morning because we did not return home until midnight. They were super accommodating and responded immediately when I asked if they could extend the stay due to the delay! 5/5. Definitely would recommend!!!”

About: I absolutely love dogs! Sadly in October of 2024 my dog of 15 years passed away. We are ready and available to love and support your pup while you are away. About: Hi! We are Belle and David and we have been watching dogs on Rover for a couple of years now. We took a little break while caring for our own puppy and are happy that he is old enough to allow us to get back to our love of caring for your pets. We only watch one dog at a time so that we can provide each pet with their own special love and care. Belle is a teacher and David works from home so there is always one of us home, especially in the summer months. Our dog Mogul loves other dogs but can still be respectful if the other dog needs a break from playing. When house sitting I am very considerate of your pets needs and your home. I do like to let them roam the house but I wouldn’t while your pet stays with me! I only work a few days a week. I would prefer to watch animals on my off days since I work 12 hour shifts. If you need me to watch your pet for an extended stay and I’m working a few of the days, that will be fine with me as long as they don’t potty in the house. I work 12 hour shifts but live 7 minutes away from work and can come home for potty breaks! I have a fenced in yard, my two dogs have a good routine. Miley the Aussie is pretty chill but likes to play occasionally, maple the golden LOVES to play! I would take your dogs on walks also as long as they are decent on a leash! I also have lots of Kong type toys to stimulate their minds with a bit of peanut butter or wet food. I care about animals a lot and they will be safe with me.

Building trust with pets and their owners is essential to me. I offer meet-and-greets before any new sitting arrangement to allow pets to get comfortable with me. For each stay, I send regular updates, photos, and notes on how your pet is doing, so you feel connected and reassured. My goal is to make you feel confident that your pet is in caring, capable hands.
About: We have both had dogs our entire lives that have spread across a variety of breeds, including Boston Terrier, English Bulldog, Labs, and Australian Shepard. We truly love all breeds and would love to spend time with your dog! We both work from home full time so there is no issue with feeding, walking or potty schedules. We generally love to spend time outdoors on the weekends and would love to take your dog on walks or hikes on the trails, if you’re comfortable. We have a fully fenced in yard and live close to an expansive trail system that we would be more than happy to walk your dog on to enjoy the outdoors. Dogs are welcome to be left loose in our house and will be allowed on the furniture, or feel free to bring their bed and/or crate if that’s what they are used to.

But, the second time, when we pulled up to their house, my dogs raced to their door to see them. We got regular updates and photos. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pups with them. Also, our flight was delayed and we ended up picking them up the following morning because we did not return home until midnight. The street in front of his house is quite narrow so ask if you can park in the driveway for dropoff/pickup.”
