“Kristina is so kind and I just know my pup will have a blast each time she goes over. Very attentive and sends updates in the day which is nice. I definitely trust and recommend Kristina for future dog care”

“Christina was terrific! Our dog spent 1 night in her care and everything went flawlessly. We received frequent updates and pictures. Drop off and pick up was a breeze; and she even gave us a framed picture of our dog, very kind!”

“Emily has the setup when it comes to caring for dogs. Our pup, Bowie, was picked up both days happy as can be. Emily updated us throughout the day with pictures and engaged with Bowie with some of his favorite games, tug and Frisbee. He even made other dog friends! What more can you ask for. I'm handsdown booking with Emily/ Pacific Paws again ☺️”

“Charis was so great! We got updates throughout the day with pictures how our puppies were doing. It was their first time at doggy day care and they will definitely be back. They didn’t want to leave! She followed all instructions for feeding, and they were happy and worn out from all the fun playtime. Thank you for taking care of our Apollo and Rocky so well, we can’t wait to book with you again!”
“Valerie was wonderful with Winnie and we were comfortable leaving her there knowing she was in good hands. It was Winnie’s first time away from home at 13 weeks and we were so glad she did well. Valerie was fantastic!”

Whether your dog is shy, social, quirky, or full of zoomies, I know how to adjust care to match their needs. My family & I treat every dog like they’re our own and we would love the opportunity to spend time with your furry friend too! My Skills & Experience: - Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for pups of all ages - Comfortable with shy, senior, high-energy, and big-breed dogs - Gentle, patient approach with anxious or first-time boarders - Understanding of dog body language and safe interactions - Experienced with medication routines and special instructions - I provide updates, photos, and videos of your pup while you're away! I am home most of the time with my 1 year old currently so am able to accommodate and care for your dog(s) most days and times! I’m able to give dogs plenty of interaction and attention throughout the day. My calendar is always up to date, but feel free to message me with any schedule-specific questions. About My Home: Your pup will feel safe, loved, and comfortable here! I have a fully fenced yard perfect for playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of sniffing. I also have two friendly dogs who enjoy company, though all interactions are based on your dog’s comfort level. Inside, I’ve created multiple gated areas so every dog has their own calm, secure space. Crates are available if your dog prefers them or if you request it. I use a Furbo camera and happily will send photo and video updates so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. When the weather cooperates, I love taking dogs on peaceful neighborhood walks, and I can provide baths if needed as well. *Important: I do have a 1 year old at home, so I’m only able to host dogs who are gentle and comfortable with young children. Safety and a calm environment are top priorities in our home. Safety: Your dog’s comfort and safety , and my family’s, are my top priorities. I do slow, careful introductions with my dogs, or no introductions if requested. Gated “safe spaces” are always available. I follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions exactly as given.
“Thanks to Cara we had a wonderful first-time experience on Rover. Yoshi did his first Rover doggy day care and he had a blast. Cara took great care of him and her little girls took to Yoshi. He came home and promptly passed out. Expecting a lot more play dates in the near future. It's awesome to find another Corgi Mom. Thank you, Cara, for welcoming Yoshi into your home. We loved the photos you sent to us throughout the day and hope to add more memories.”

“Kyah was a great help with my pup Tikka for doggy daycare. Kyah was very caring, calming and accommodating to my puppy as she needed some extra comfort from a recent spay surgery. I really appreciated the great communication and updates throughout the day. A relief knowing your pup is being cared for. Will definitely book again!”

About: Hello! I love dogs - of all kinds! I am currently working from home, so I have complete flexibility to give the best care for your dog - with breaks or walks whenever needed. We have a large amount of waterfront beach with 2.8 acres of space to run and explore. We do also have a fenced in area on the property. I have always had dogs (and many other animals), currently we have a Coonhound mix and chocolate Lab. We also have 3 cats and 10 chickens. I work from home. During nice days, the dogs, cats and I spend much of the day outside. We have 2 Airbnbs on the property, meeting our animals is a big part of the experience for our guests, so I need to be sure all animals are friendly. I also have a small art studio I work in, that is animal friendly. We have 2.8 acres on the water. Most of our property is not fenced, but we do also have a large fenced area. If your dog is good off leash, (with my supervision) there is a lot of space to run and play, with large grassy areas and a huge beach. The fenced in area has 2 sections. There is a dog door in the house that leads to the first fenced yard. That dog door is kept open all day and closed at night. The second larger fenced yard is connected to the first by a dog door. There are chickens in that yard, so I need to know if your dog is ok around chickens. We do have an enclosure the chickens can be kept in, if necessary, but we prefer to let them roam the yard. We also have 3 cats, so we will not allow any dogs that are aggressive towards cats.

About: Am able to teach your dog’s basic training I can help in potty training. As well as sit, stay, and walking commands if desired. Great understanding that animals such as your dogs or cats are your children just with four legs and more hair. I hope and look forward to seeing you and your animals enjoy long walks outdoors, maybe going swimming in a lake river going to dog parks finding out new animal healthy recipes for snacks learn potty training for the first time or completing how to sit on command with hand or verbal jesters maybe even a foreign language is so desired and experiencing new things. Rain or shine, cold or hot. I will show up and say hello and enjoy the wonderful time I’ll have with your child.

I have a Aussie/collie mix who believes that every person and every animals is her friend and three children who make friends the same way as my dog

“Jack always has a great time with Amanda and her crew! He gets a little nervous around bigger dogs sometimes and she does a great job of pairing him with other dogs his size or dogs that are good personality fits. Highly recommend!”

“I love that Rhonda and her family created a secure and fun back yard for the dogs to play. I also love that the whole family helps with the dogs and that there is usually someone home. It gives me great peace of mind to know that my dog has humans around most of the time. Rhonda's dogs are playful and my dog seemed to be at ease even though she is often fearful of new dogs and new situations.”

“My puppy had a great time with Naiomi!!! Naiomi sent lots of pictures and updates. I could tell my pup was having a great time, and I felt comfortable leaving her with Naiomi. We will totally use her in the future.”

“Emily was amazing! She took care of our two dogs diligently and was very communicative, kind and professional! From the first interaction, we felt comfortable leaving our babies with her and the joy they had when we picked them up let us know how much fun they had and they had been properly cuddled! Highly recommend Emily!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
