When the weather cooperates, I love taking dogs on peaceful neighborhood walks, and I can provide baths if needed as well. *Important: I do have a 1 year old at home, so I’m only able to host dogs who are gentle and comfortable with young children. Safety and a calm environment are top priorities in our home. Safety: Your dog’s comfort and safety , and my family’s, are my top priorities. I do slow, careful introductions with my dogs, or no introductions if requested. Gated “safe spaces” are always available. I follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions exactly as given.
About: We both grew up with dogs and have fostered 4 times. We currently own a 3 year old rescue pup. We’ve cared for the smallest of dog breeds (Havanese and Boston Terrier) to the largest of breeds (Labs/retrievers, German shepherds, Belgian malinois, pit bulls, etc) so we’re comfortable with all dogs! I work from home, so I’m available all day every day to play and take care of your pups! We’re open to boarding every day of the week. We do have a 3 year old Lab/Border Collie mix, so your dog must be good with other dogs. I will treat your dogs just like my own! We do live in an apartment, but I’m available throughout the day for potty breaks and playtime. I have a friendly dog that would love to keep your pup company :) I’m also comfortable crating dogs if that’s something you need!

About: At the age of 10 I developed a passion to care for animals. I have been around animals my entire life. I am also in the process of continuing my Education and I am working on getting my Associates degree and becoming a licensed Veterinary Technician. I did not think we were ever going to be able to take mom on an outing since she adopted Dono the Velcro Dog with anxiety issues. But then we found Valarie, she has been coming to take Donno twice a week for walks and to learn a few manners. Mothers day was the first day we took Dono to Valarie’s for day care. After a brief sniff around the front yard Valerie stepped outside to say hello and he went nuts he was so excited to see her. She kept us in the loop during this first stay and set pictures showing him playing and bright eyed. The entire family was able to visit in a special place were dogs are not permitted knowing he was safe and happy (most of the time).
Emily was amazing! She took care of our two dogs diligently and was very communicative, kind and professional! From the first interaction, we felt comfortable leaving our babies with her and the joy they had when we picked them up let us know how much fun they had and they had been properly cuddled! Highly recommend Emily!
